It's A Scam!

It was drizzling lightly but we still made it a point to go for the graduation ceremony. Since it is going to be a pinic-style ceremony (we were asked to bring mats and our own food), I decided to let Little Arielle go in shorts and tee.

When we reached there, the VIP was already giving his speech. A lot of people were moving around. Next moment, the teacher started calling out the graduating classes and the students were dressed like little angels for the girls. At that moment, I was quite worried. Little Arielle is so shaddily dressed, how is she gonna go up the stage. But when I thought about it again, all the students' dressing were identical. That means, they have already been given the clothings before the ceremony. So does it mean that the graduating classes are only meant for K1 and K2 students?

I went to ask one of the staff and that confirmed my thought! Arrghhh....that means, I have wasted my time here for nothing! Sickening circular did not highlight this properly! Made me rush like mad and best of all, it started raining heavily. Luckily, I brought umbrella for WJ and Little Arielle. Else they would be super drenched!

So I quickly rushed down for my DnD and luckily, everything was in place....And when the event ended, I went to pick up Little Arielle and surprisingly, she is still so wide awake even though it was almost midnight!

The Right Toy :P

Was really glad that I bought Lego for Little Arielle's birthday gift this year as she seems to enjoy playing with it countless times. This is the best and right toy that I have got for her! Perhaps can consider building up her collection every year :P She can sometimes play alone quietly and yet happily and at times, XP would join her. That's really some bonding time for the two of them :)

Drenched with Smelly Water

As Mummy Me is on course today, XP was the one to send Little Arielle to school. When I was home in the evening, XP handed me a bag of uniform and it was so stinky and wet. Got to know from Little Arielle that she got herself drenched while playing in school.

But apparently, I did not know how she did it. In any case, I just quickly went to soak her uniform else not sure if the smell would continue to stay there or not....

Sometimes....

Sometimes I wish that Little Arielle doesnt grow up so quickly....

Sometimes I wish that I have the energy to keep her company....

Sometimes I wish that I can be a SAHM....

Sometimes I wish that I can nurture her personally....

Sometimes I wish time is on my side or perhaps I can manage it better....

So many 'sometimes' in life....when can we fulfill it?

Battle Between the Sexes!

XP and Little Arielle decided to have a competition and I'm supposed to be the judge. So here's their competition pieces and hmm, I shall declare both as winners hahahaha....

This 'competition' has certainly created another bonding opportunity for XP and Little Arielle!

All @ The Same Time :(

Just received a circular from the school today and it mentioned that Little Arielle's graduation ceremony is this Sat.

Arrgghhh why of all days, it had to be this Sat and clash with Mummy Me's DnD? So it means that Mummy Me don't have the chance to do up my hair cos the venue is at Festival Park and you have to sit on the floor. If I dress until the nines, I think everyone must be thinking that I am mad....

If it was not for Little Arielle's graduation, we wouldn't have bothered. So bo pian lor....Luckily WJ is available on that day so the plan is, we will all meet at the Festival Park at about 6pm and after the ceremony, we will leave after the ceremony is over and will rush down for our DnD since the agenda shows that it's only performances after 6.30pm.

We would pick Little Arielle up after our DnD has ended. Hmm....the plan sounds perfect!

Stuck @ L

Aiyo this girl has been practicing her ABC and she never failed to get stuck at the letter L. So how, she just got all the letters mixed up!! Faintz....

Waiting....waiting

Yes....the Tan family is waiting at budget terminal going to the Land of Smiles!! Looking to lots of shopping and fun time with the family!!

Approval of Leave Application

Little Arielle was so happy today cos she said that Mrs Chan has approved her leave application....

Buay tahan her....she actually went to ask her today again :)

It's Up! At Long Last....

Mummy Me has been checking the website of Impact Models eversince they mentioned that Little Arielle's pic would be up after 1 month of the photoshoot. Her photoshoot was on 8th Sep and without fail, I have been checking the site almost everyday.

It was only today that I saw that it was finally published online ->

Hopefully she will get a chance to at least be in a print ad i.e. magazine or papers and perhaps a chance to do catwalk for her 'stay' in Impact :)

Leave Application

Little Arielle has been repeating yesterday that she would be on leave this Fri and next Mon because we are going to BKK.

She was rather upset this evening because she said that Mrs Chan and Ms Huda did not approve her leave application.

She kept insisting that wants to be on leave and she actually used the term 'on leave' which I found it to be so amusing :)

The Worst Part of Motherhood

is to clean up PUKE!! That is worst than cleaning up shit lor! Imagine the slimy and pungent smell. It's worst if the kid drank milk and it was undigested! There you would get milk-curd lor!

Most of the time, there would be the after-smell and it just lingers within you for a while.

Arrghhh....don't know what caused it but Little Arielle just puked :( Is it my mama's birthday cake that she ate earlier on or is it because of her itchy throat which caused it again....

Sigh....whichever is the reason, I just hate doing so. Thank god that XP helped me to clean up most of the area. Else I really don't know how long I am gonna stuck with this :(

Supposed to have started the engine to clear my work and I was interrupted by Little Arielle. Now gonna restart the engine....Hmm what time can I sleep tonight?

Fun @ City Square

Went to City Square after our breakfast at Hoe Nam. What is great here is the discovery of free kiddy cabs! We found it during our last visit here and was simply happy with such arrangement. So when we came here again today, we quickly went to the customer service counter to get the kiddy cab. Luckily there were still a few left. Little Arielle took the "same ma da chia". She simply doesn't have eyes for the other cabs. Whatever lah....as long as she is happy!

We managed to window shop in peace since she got no reason to complain that she is tired of walking. She ate her bao in the car and was super satisfied. Thereafter, she gladly shared the porridge with me and ate 1 bowl. Hmm....I was happy with her behaviour. But well, towards the end, she was teary cos we went to Best Denki and someone 'snatched' her iPad while she was half-way playing with it. So rude! Luckily, she managed to play after waiting for that boy to finish playing with it.

And when it's time to return the cab, she was teary again. Don't be sad. We can come again :)

Yummy Dinner & Cute Little Pumpkin

The SingTel man came early this morning to fix up our mio tv. Yeah....we got it free for 12 months as a promotion when XP bought my iPhone for me. After installation, it was clean-up time for our master room. Boy, was there lots of dust. After the clean-up, my bones almost broke. Can't help but say that I'm old!

After packing the house and taking a nice shower, it was almost time for dinner. Went to Swee Choon for a nice tim sum dinner! Check out the yummy food....

After dinner, we waited for about half an hour before the stupid ERP is off and we went to Suntec for window shopping. Hmm....actually nothing much to see. But found this interesting pumpkin in Carrefour. All prepared for Halloween to come....

*Oink Oink*

Ohhh....drawing little pigs tonight! After some advice from the teacher, somehow Little Arielle was able to draw it. What amazes me most was that she was able to draw the nose so well! So well that you can tell that it's a pig's nose at once :)

Quite happy that I am slowly letting her have a free hand in the drawing. Of course, will still help here and there. Hopefully a few more lessons and she can be on her own :P

Wonderful Banquet of Cliff & Jazlyn

Cousin Cliff's wedding banquet is on tonight. Even though it took place on a weekday, we are still excited and looked forward to the feast.

Left workplace on the dot and arrived there pretty early. As such, we have time to enjoy the wedding album quietly without any disturbance. Thereafter, when the guests gradually arrive, the banquet room doors opened and we were happily seated. As we were seated with our close cousins, we had a great time chit chatting with one another.

Soon, it was time for the banquet to start....The blissful couple walked in happily and was totally emerged with all our blessings. So happy for them....

In addition, was so touched with their thank you speech and they gave a massage equipment and a bouquet of flowers for both sides of their parents. So sweet....

And when it's time for yum-seng, Little Arielle also kpo and went up with gong gong and popo. Best of all, she drank champagne too! Win liaoz lor....

Anyway, everyone had fun and just want to wish the couple, happy life together forever :)

Japanese Dolls

Just had some snacks from Old Chang Kee and thereafter, we rushed off for Little Arielle's art class.

Was quite happy that the theme today is Japanese dolls cos that is relatively easy to draw :)

True enough, most of it is done by Little Arielle since it's mostly straight lines and straight lines. Was surprised that she could draw the flowers that well. She was the one who wanted to draw the flowers and the sun. That really made the doll prettier.

Although her colouring is still as horrible but she did the painting quite well. Try harder the next round!

Fun @ Polliwogs

To make Little Arielle's birthday a memorable one, Mummy Me decided to bring her to Polliwogs. This is recommended by Auntie Astin who has went with Lucas just a few days before us.

After Little Arielle woke up from her nap, we were all ready to go. Since it was a weekday, there is no limitation to the hours of fun. We just paid a fee of $16 for Little Arielle. Both XP and I do not have to pay. But if you want to go, remember to get a pair of socks. I only brought for Little Arielle and did not bring any for myself. If you want to get into the play area, you need to wear socks. So in the end, I bought a pair for $3 there.

Initially, Little Arielle was still quite scared to move in and play. However, within seconds, she was so familiar with the surroundings that she was 'flying' around every spot. To protect her safety, I kept following behind her and I must say that I couldn't catch up with her energy and speed. Old is the word to describe me!

Luckily the place is quite safe. With all the sponge wrapping round the pillars and anti-slip flooring material, there is nothing to worry about. So, it was not long before I left her on her own while I chill out at the internet corner. Periodically, I would pop by to make sure that everything is okie.

One thing to note is that there are many ang mo kia there. Most of the time, they are very daring and are not afraid. So just make sure that your kid is not bullied cos sometimes, they would just snatch the toy from you :)

It's almost close to 2 hours and Little Arielle's batt is still full bar! I really wonder why....As we need to drop by Ikea and thereafter, celebrate her birthday at mama's house, we quickly persuade her to go off :)

Hopefully we will come back again....

11.00am:Pick girl girl from class
12.00pm:Lunch at Ikea + sign up as Smaland member
1.00pm: Nap time
3.30pm: Polliwogs @ East Coast
5.30pm: Cake collection at Bengawan Solo - Tampines Mall
7.30pm: Dinner at home – cut cake, play with sparklers and lantern

Hmm....the above plan has yet to be approved by XP. I wonder if he would faint at my proposal....Hopefully not leh!

Birthday Surprise Part 4

It's not that I'm rich but I just want to make Little Arielle's birthday a memorable one. So, I found myself picking up a brochure from Bengawan Solo and the next moment, I found myself calling them up and ordered the pink cake ->

Great! I managed to order it cos it states there, please order 2 working days in advance. Luckily still in time! Got a half kg with black cherries filling! This will be for her night celebration with my parents on her birthday! She loves Disney Princesses and since she was unable to take the pic today, hope that the cake will brighten her birthday :)

A Pleasant Call

Got a call from Sweetest Moment asking me if it is possible for me to reduce the number of letters for 'Birthday' cos there isn't enough space since Little Arielle's name is long. Agreed to her proposal to keep it as bday.

Since this lady called, I quickly grabbed the chance to request for early collection of the cupcakes on Tue. She readily agreed to my request of collecting it at 8.45am. Yeah....save me the trouble of making another call to them tomorrow :)

Little Katrina is 1!

Can't believe time flies so fast! It seems like yesterday that we just attended Little Katrina's full month celebration and now she is already 1! Her celebration was held at Aloha Loyang. We went there straight after Little Arielle has woken from her afternoon nap.

As we were still hungry after the celebration, we went to the Shi Nai restaurant outside our house for supper. Little Arielle ordered 2 Po Lo Bao and I was surprised that she was able to finish it on her own. Argghh, regretted ordering so many things. Ended up feeling so FULL leh! Anyway, the chicken wings din taste good and sandwich was normal....

Yummy Porridge

It has been a while since Mummy Me cooked porridge for Little Arielle. I decided to do so today and got mama to prepare the ingredients for me.

Wow, I just love the smell of nice yummy porridge! Little Arielle finished the whole big bowl and I was so happy! I specially cooked more cos I wanna eat too! That became my lunch....

Yummy yum yum! So nice until I forgot to take pic and it's all gone hee....

Hmm....only XP doesn't know how to appreciate hee!

Duckie Duckie

Mummy Me was not feeling very well and was dragging my feet to bring Little Arielle to her art class. I din have much energy to scold Little Arielle and that made her life happier this evening.

Tried to use another way of teaching her how to draw by drawing faint lines and asked her to go over it. Hmm....that kinda of help and it made me quite happy too.

This method made her complete her work fast. Since the last lesson, I already stopped helping her to colour and let her do it on her own. Even though it wasn't perfect cos you can still see her colouring out of the line and there are white patches here and there, at least it's her own works. Hopefully with more practise, she can do better each time :)

iTouch Proposal

Seeing that Little Arielle is so interested in my iPhone, XP proposed to get iTouch for Little Arielle. When XP told her that, she kept saying she wanna iPad. Wat seh! That is so much more expensive lor....Got iTouch for you, not bad already hor! Still so choosy!

Happy Children's Day

Hmm....how come don't have adult day ah?

Hee anyway, regretted not taking leave today cos I realised that there were so many activities lined up on Children's day....Ahhh and Little Arielle would have missed them all :(

Nevermind, I will do so next year and let her enjoy being a kid :)

Little Strong Gal

I was sleeping soundly when I suddenly heard someone opening the door. It was a small person and this person seems to be dragging something behind her. Next, I realised that that was Little Arielle and I was so surprised that she has the strength to drag the mattress on her own!
