I think my girl is really like me :p Always so KPO hahaha :)

I was at my mama's gate waiting to pick her up and she saw me without specs. Apparently, I broke my specs this morning and had to wear contacts. So she asked me why I am not wearing specs (also proves that she's observant :p). Thought that would be the end of her question.

Who knows, she goes on to ask,'Did your colleagues ask you why you din wear specs?' Buay tahan her but I just love her innocent questions :) Always never fail to put a smile on my face!

One thing that I love about Little Arielle's drawing is that it always protray a happy feeling :) The sun is smiling and the rainbow is happy too :)

What I super love is she always remember to include her 'baby sister' in the drawing. This is something that also made me sad cos till now, I have not been able to give her a companion :( I too wonder, when that day will come....

My New Toy!

It was just a casual walk around to the Courts Sale at Singapore Expo and I got myself a new camera - Panasonic Lumix 5! Thanks to XP of course :p Yippee....hopefully this new one is able to allow me to take better night shots. My Sony one, sigh....somehow just cannot make it! Even my iPhone takes better night shots than that!

The Same Issue!!

Out of the blue, Little Arielle started saying that she doesn't want to attend her Chinese lass anymore! Wahhh....I thought this is a thing of the past!

She kept asking when is the course ending. When asked why she doesn't like the class, she claimed that she doesn't Ike the teacher. Hmm....but this year, the teacher is different leh!

Xianz....I think I would be having some different moments getting her to class tomorrow :(

Heard from my mama that Little Arielle's CMA course fee is gonna increase by $30. Though it din seem a lot but the thought of price increase still sucks :(

It's not because the teacher declared no class but it was Mummy Me who simply has no mood to bring her :(. Was super upset with some ridiculous remarks and request and I was just boiling mad!

Though one side of me said that I should forget about it and bring her for class, the other side of me just couldn't get over it! So in the end, she just stayed at home with me.

Luckily she was still pretty cooperative and din provoke me further!

Sorry dearie, we will go for class next week!

I was always annoyed with the fact that Little Arielle doesn't want to visit the toilet. Frankly speaking, I have yet to understand the reason why she doesn't want to do so :( So it's always a dread asking her to pee in the morning especially....

Just yesterday, mama told me that she pee-ed onto her pants and socks and apparently, she was very mad with her. I also told Little Arielle off! Scolded her that if she continued to behave in this way, I will not wash her clothes and let her wear those soiled ones!

She called me today and asked me to give her a chance. I was wondering what happened and she told me that she could not pee in time and kena her pants again.

But she said that she would make me happy today....

1st Edudrama Class for 2012

It's January! Start of the brand new school term! That means I will be busy every weekend again! This is the first 1.5hr lesson for her Julia Gabriel class. Hmm that means she will get to borrow 2 books instead of 1. Mummy Me must be really on to read to her in preparation of her P1!

Glad that she is happy going for her class!

1st Art Lesson for 2012!

It's the day of the week that I dread!! Everyone is excited about Friday but I am simply hating it :(. That's because I had to sit in with Little Arielle for her art class. I feel it's a waste of time for me but on the other hand, I don't feel safe leaving her alone cos the other students in the class are quite mischievous and the teacher couldn't handle it sometimes! So I think I will just have to sacrifice my time and continue to go in with her!

The consoling part is that she has improved a lot from the time she first started! Ahhhh....this is the part which made me feel my sacrifice is worth the while!

1st Day in K2 2012

It's the first day of school for Little Arielle today. She was very cooperative this morning! Din kick a fuss when she was asked to drink milk :). Especially when it was from her cup and not her milk bottle! Only thing was that she still din like the idea of peeing in the morning! Just dun know what is wrong with her! Hmph!

The transition from our house to mama's house was very smooth! Upon reaching, mama quickly changed her, tied her hair and we are all ready for school!

Not sure if it were the familiar faces which made her feel at ease, she happily went into class without any teary look. Wonder if she would be as happy when she goes into P1 next year. Sigh....the thought of it just gave me the jitters!!

Orientation 2012

It's Little Arielle's orientation day this morning. XP din manage to take leave as he had a new colleague joining his dept today and he is his buddy. As such, it's just Mummy Me :(. As I din want to be alone, I asked mama to accompany me.

Sitting through that almost 2hrs of briefing is no joke! I found myself constantly yawning away. Thankfully, my iPhone kept me awake :p. After understanding what is required of us and the things needed on Thur, we were dismissed. Both mama and I quickly cheong to queue up for the uniform purchase. Luckily we did that cos it was a long queue thereafter. Got 2 sets of uniform and 2 sets of PE attire. That easily cost me $39. And I finally understood why the queue is so long! Cos the lady is so slow in filling up the receipt. Faintz!

Hee heng I was clever. Mama queued at the uniform side while I went to settle her school fees. When I was back, she was still in the queue.

Everything ended at about 10.45am. By the time I reached mama's house, I only got chance to rest for a while before going off to work. Time flies....my girl is already in K2 this year. Wished that time would have pass by slower....so stressed that she is going to be P1 next year. I think I better be disciplined and start to do some teaching at home before it's too late!

The result is out....and oh well, Little Arielle din make it as one of the winners. Apparently, the top 4 winners are those mixed blood again. Sigh....

But nevermind lah....at least she still get a $30 participation voucher :)

Finally Going Somewhere....

After weeks of thinking where to go for our last trip for the year, the booking is finally made today!

And yes....we are going to Bangkok :p It was after some checking that we concluded it would be safe to go. Had I said Yes earlier, XP would be able to secure the SIA promo to BKK. Sorry....was indecisive cos was concerned about the hygiene issue after the flood. In any case, XP managed to get another promo (though not as good as SIA but better than nothing!) and we are going to stay in InterCont. Hee....think it's a 4 or 5 star hotel. He said that we will be celebrating my birthday there :)

Think Little Arielle will love a 4/5 star hotel :p Looking forward to the trip!

I have many a time wish that I am a homemaker so that I can grow together with Little Arielle. Sadly....I realised that my patience is seeping away from me as age catches up!

It's either she's too naughty to begin with or I simply lack the drive and energy....Or is it because older kids by nature are more difficult to deal with?

In any case, I'm glad that there is my mama to take care of her while I work. Else I think I will really go crazy with all the screaming and shouting in the house! Little Arielle loves to irritate me when I'm in a bad mood :(

I think if there is a chance down the road, at most I will go for part time work :p At least there's some income too :)

Hmm....Mummy Me is a person who is easily influenced! Especially when it is good things for Little Arielle. So when I saw people going for the Elves & the Shoemaker show, I also quickly went online to purchase the tickets.

Had wanted to go as a family but we were too late and there weren't tickets available for 3 :( So in the end, I would be going with Little Arielle. Hopefully she would enjoy the show....sorry XP....next time okie :p

Just received a circular from the school that they are organising a year end farewell get together party next Tue. Initially was lazy to go cos still need to apply for leave :(

But then, when they say they would present us with a portfolio of Little Arielle's happenings in school, this made me wanna go.

I Don't Want to Sleep!

Sometimes just can't stand my kiddo! While we are always trying to find more time to sleep, she can't wait to stay awake!

And the best part is....she always complain she wants to sleep more when we want to wake her up in the morning!

So in the end, my strategy is to bring out the CANE! At least that is good enough to scare her and she would obediently go to her bedroom :p

Mummy Me has been anticipating the arrival of Little Arielle's Snow White dress from HK. Have managed to get Dawn to bring it over when she came on 27 Oct.

But when I saw it, I was very upset :( So angry with myself for being so greedy and asked her to get a bigger size for me. In the end, this is the bigger size lor!

Disney Musical Festival 2011

It was after much persuasion that I managed to convince XP to allow me to buy the tickets from Sistic. He always managed to find people selling it at a cheaper price at a good seat but this time round, he din manage to find anyone.

I was really happy that I still managed to get a good seat even though the purchase was made just a few days before the show. Probably this is the second run and most of them would have watched it during their first run.

In any case, just looking forward to the show with our little family :)

I was anxiously preparing for Little Arielle's birthday and when I was on the phone with Ms Tan today, we discussed about the things that I need to bring on that day.

It was a casual question asking if there is any issue for us to go in during the cake cutting ceremony. Frankly speaking, I did not expect a NO.

So when Ms Tan said No, I was very upset! She explained that there's a HFM case and they want to minimise contact with outsiders. Wahhh....ridiculous right! I mean the students do go home as well. So if that is the case, they would bring back new germs into the class. If we want to go in and celebrate with her, we are the one taking the risk!

They could have make some special arrangement like we santisise before going in and please lor....it's just for that 10 - 15 mins!

And well....I have been consoled by others to think positively and this is for the kids' own good :(

Crestar Dance School!

Mummy Me has been wanting to find a dance school for Little Arielle. It's not the common ballet that I want her to learn but rather hip hop or modern dance. With her slim figure, she can really twist and turn well. What's more, she has really shown great interest in it.

After searching for the longest time, I finally found a great venue! Not sure if the school is good or not but minimally, it is in Tampines and they have weekday classes from 7.45pm to 8.45pm. The timing and venue is just perfect. And they have hip hop classes too! I happily emailed them and they finally replied a few days back. Was a little upset when they told me that they only take in kids between 6 - 12 years old. Little Arielle is only gonna be 5 this year. I asked if they can assess her potential and consider taking her in and they agreed :)

So, Little Arielle would be going for her trial lesson on 12 Oct and I hope that they can take her in :) Good luck to us!!

I sensed that something is wrong when my little girl wants to go to bed at 8pm! Yah....my guess is right! She has sore throat and is having a fever! Initially, I got pretty upset when the seller only managed to mail out the items yesterday :( I had intended to let her put on her Smurf clips with her Smurf top for our Smurf movie tomorrow. But, thinking back, it wasn't really the seller's fault since there were some clarifications done in between.

So, I din have much hope when I opened the mailbox this evening because SingPost is seldom so efficient! Boy, was I surprised when I saw the parcel in the mailbox. I was extremely happy!!

Just picked Little Arielle from her CMA class and was rather happy with her progress :). From the time that she doesn't know what is 1 + 1 until when when she can mentally calculate what is 9 + 2, I was indeed impressed!

Sigh....even though we took leave, we still din manage to watch :( XP kept saying that no one is selling the tickets and apparently, Sistic has already sold away the good seats.

Luckily Little Arielle din remember but it's more like Mummy Me, who felt disappointed....Hopefully they will have it again next year :)

It's Chinese lesson again and I am so glad that she din fuss about it like what she did for the past few lessons. Hmm....I must say that the ladybird really saved the day!! Hopefully, I'm able to continue this ladybird story on and on :)

1 strange thing that I concluded from Little Arielle's espisode was that, this world only look out for non of the ordinary things! It's either you are the best or worst that you got discovered! People who are ordinary or common are always being neglected. The staff at the school remembered Little Arielle and I felt that she was receiving additional attention because she cried for the past few lessons. Students who behave or are prim and proper are often left unnoticed.

Wahhhh....realised that Little Arielle's nails are super long!! Cannot stand it and in the end, I went to cut for her. Hmm I think this seems to be the first or second time that I am cutting her nails. Since birth, her nails have been taken care of by mama! And because it's the same holiday now and mama's house is under renovation, XP had to take leave to take care of her. Hence, the nails were neglected. But don't worry....Mummy Me to the rescue :p

Little Arielle's 5th Birthday Cake

Finally after months of thinking, Mummy Me finally placed my order and made payment ($142) for Little Arielle's birthday cake.

Sometimes life cannot have too many options! It just made you think and waste time over it!

So, to stop myself from thinking further and wasting more time, I just made the payment and move on! If I delay further, later got no more baking slots for me and I would be in deep shit :p If that happens, need to waste more time cos gotta look for new baker!!

I'm sure Little Arielle will love the cake :) Very certain about it hahahaha!

Consistent Action is Necessary!

Little Arielle couldn't finish her milk this morning and after fussing around for a long time, I agreed to let her get away with about 20ml left.This evening, she did the same thing :( She said that she couldn't finish her milk. But, in the first place, she was the one who kept complaining that she was hungry!I inisted that she finish her milk and she shuts me off by saying,'Why this morning can?'From this incident, I realised that we have to be consistent with our actions and we should not easily give in to threats! Unless it is really an exceptional case!!

Movie Time - Cars 2

I was actually hesistanting if I should bring Little Arielle to watch Cars 2 because it seems like a movie more suitable for boys. In the end, I proceeded with the ticket order because my company is selling it at $5 per ticket. I was thinking if she really doesn't like it, we are only wasting $5 :p

It's been a while since we last watched movie together as a family. I only remembered the first movie that we went together as a family was Alice in Wonderland. There was a second movie which we went together but shucks, I just couldn't remember which one was it! Arrgghhh....Anyway, this is the 3rd movie and Little Arielle has already forgotten how was it like to be watching movie in a cinema. Opps....the wait has been too long! So, she was very happy that she can go and watch Cars 2 today :) So much so that she would behave once you threaten her that she would not get to watch if she misbehave hee!

We took a few pic before going in. Apparently, it was with the Smurfs, instead of Cars 2! Cos I din see any Cars 2 posters leh....

Well, she enjoyed the movie and both XP and I did! Din know that it was so comical and the graphics were amazing! It was a far better production compared to Cars 1! Keep up the good work!! Even though she enjoyed the movie, she din sit by herself throughout. But I was already happy that she sat alone for about 1 hour and she came over and sat on XP's lap for the last half hour! Good job :)Was happy that the show was great and Little Arielle behaved throughout! Even though she had a few questions here and there :p

Was practising ABCs with Little Arielle in the car while we were on our way to watch Cars 2. Am so glad that she can come up with words for each alphabet and best of all, some of the words are not those common ones that we would use! Just like D for Dinosaurs, L for Lollipop, Z for Zipper blah blah blah....Hmm, her vocab is not too bad afterall hahahaha :p

The Second Time!

Some days ago, the topic of going over to Little Arielle's nai nai's house was brought up and she immediately rejected the idea of going over. She recollected her ear infection incident where She said that nai nai was fierce and scolded her!

When we were causually talking about sending her over to nai nai's house this evening, she immediately resented the idea! In the past, she always wanted to go over! Goes to show that how impactful that previous incident was!

I must say that kids' memory are good! They can really remember what has happened and how they have been treated. So don't let them have bad memories in their childhood!

Yes yes! Mummy Me remembered Little Arielle's request and specially went to the fruit stall during lunch to buy one of her favorite fruit - kiwi! Otherwise, I'm gonna hear her naggings everyday!!

She was so delighted when she saw me with the bag of kiwis and immediately said that she wants to eat! Nah....it was late and I was too lazy to cut!

Teacher's Day Gift!

One of the thing about havings kids is that you have to worry for them what to get for their teachers during Teachers' Day! Mummy Me has been scratching my head for the past few weeks over what to get for them. Apparently I don't have the time nor talent to help Little Arielle with those handmade stuff.

So when I saw that Sticky has created some candies specially for Teachers' Day, I knew that that is what I am gonna get for her teachers :) Wanted to pop by their store last week but din have the chance. Was happy when they still have the candies when I went over this morning!

Got a total of 5 sets - 3 packed in jars and 2 in packets and it cost me $30.10. Was also given a loyalty card and was told that I would get a stamp for every $10 purchased. So I got 3 stamps today :) If I complete the card, I would get 10% discount for all subsequent purchases. Cool!

Will get Little Arielle to write her teachers' names on the sticker before pasting it on the jar/packet :p

Complaint to Pumpkin Patch!

Mummy Me recently bought a dress during one of the Pumpkin Patch Sale. I was so upset when the colour came off and stained the whole dress. Apparently, I don't recall soaking it for that long and the washing label din mention anything about not soaking it!

Anyway, it was so badly stained that I don't think I would want Little Arielle to wear out the second time.

So, I went to post in Pumpkin Patch's FB page and let's see what they can do as service recovery....Hmm, sikali they can't be bothered about me!!

I really don't know why Little Arielle detest her Chinese class so much? She told me early in the morning that she did not want to attend her class and of course, she will not get 'ok' from me as an answer!

Relunctantly, she went for the class and as what she did a few lessons ago, she started crying at the doorstep. This round, the admin gal quickly carried her over and brought her in. Told XP about it and he suggested to withdraw her from the lesson after we have completed the term. I really hope that Little Arielle would change her mind by then.

When I went to pick her up, she was happily walking around holding her teacher's hand. There was no sign of any unhappiness. When I asked if she wants to go for her class next week, she still said no! Just what is wrong with her??

It's A Smurfy Day

It's an exciting day for Little Arielle as we told her a few days back that we would be taking pic with the Smurfs today :)

She kept asking when we are going to see the Smurfs and I told her we will go after her class :)

So here we are!! At Bossini, Taka!! The queue has already formed when we reached. XP went to join in the queue while I started choosing the clothes for myself and Little Arielle. Thereafter, we quickly headed for the cashier, got Little Arielle to change and while doing so, we already heard the screams outside. We knew that the Smurfs must have arrived!!

My 7 Years Fan....

I din know that things also have 7 years itch! Apparently my fan of 7 years died on me last weekend. Was quite upset cos this fan accompanied me through my Punggol days as well as my confinement period. And the saddest thing was that I did not managed to take a last pic of it and XP went to throw it away! Faintz!

Anyway, that was terrible cos turning the aircon for the whole night made me sneeze. So when XP said that we would be getting a fan today, I was overjoyed!

We quickly rush to have it exchanged with XP's Shell points at KDK after Little Arielle's review at Dr Sim.

1st Review @ Dr Sim's Clinic

It wasn't easy dragging ourselves out of bed early on a Saturday morning but because we were asked to go for a review for Little Arielle's ear. So here we are early at the clinic on a Saturday morning....

Dr Sim carefully examined Little Arielle's ears and said that her condition has improved but is still required to complete the antibotic and her ear drop.

I am so happy because XP did not allow me to buy when they introduced in March this year because he felt that it's too expensive! After listening to him, I apparently felt so regretted! But it was too late cos all the stores stopped selling it after their promotion period!

After I got to know that they are back, I already went to their website and have decided what I want to buy! Ahhh so exciting! We will wear it to our Smurf movie!!

Mummy Me has been wanting to try Scrapbooking for the longest time but somehow, there was either no time or no opportunity! Finally, I had the chance to do so today, within office hours because it was one of the recreation activity organized by my company.

I just felt so proud with my piece of work! Something that is really done by me only and hee....it looks not bad too! Even XP says that it's swee :p That really motivates me! Hopefully I can keep up with this expensive hobby. Will shop for paper and the relevant tools next week! Yippee....

Yes...this is what we lugged back this evening! Managed to get it at the same price of $50.80 per tin after using the discount coupon which expires today :p Wanted to get more tins cos I have 12 coupons actually but XP did not want to fork out another $200 of cash cos we got the 8 tins using our NTUC vouchers. Moreover, he felt that 8 tins is way too sufficient for Little Arielle. Hmm....I think can tahan for at least half a year ba :p And we also almost wiped out all the available tins at the store hahaha....

Looking forward to the next discount!! When ah??

Horrible Night!

Everything was fine after dinner except that Mummy Me had the flu bug bugging me :( After reaching home, the only thing that I wanna do is to quickly take my medication and go to bed.

I was wakened by my friend's message at about 12am+ and thereafter, I found myself to be super awake! Probably because the weather is so hot and I just couldn't take it. Hmm the medication kinda work and my nose doesn't feel so wet already.

That being the case, I decided to on the aircon cos I realised that Little Arielle was very grouchy too. I think she must have felt the heat too. But that seems to be the beginning of trouble :( The aircon din managed to settle her down. She was very cranky and we suspected that she had a nightmare because she kept asking for whiteboard cos she wanted to draw something! Faintz....that's like 2am lor!

In the end, I carried her in my arms to pacify her cos she was crying away and was glad that she calmed down after a while. Suddenly, she felt very hot and realised that she got fever out of the blue. Wahhh....quickly fed her her medication and she went to bed. I accompanied her the whole night and did not really sleep soundly.

Woke up this morning and tested her temperature to be 38.9! Ahhhh....quickly pasted the Fever Patch over her forehead and sigh....don't think she can attend her class today! My money going down the drain! So sad....

Yah....this was the horrible result that Little Arielle recently got for her work in school. I don't recall performing that badly when I was young or was it XP?. Sigh....what's wrong with her? It is because she really lacks the teaching from home? If so, perhaps really gotta see how to spend more time to teach her siaz!

She saw me looking through her work and I told her that I'm disappointed with her performance. When asked if she would do better the next time, she said she will....I certainly hope that she will lor! The most obvious thing that she could have got it right was to write the numbers correctly. She could have easily got another 3 points if she did not write them in the mirror image....

Woohoo....check out the discount coupons that we got! 1 week back, we have already bought 3 tins of milk powder with the same coupons cut out from Straits Times.

Mummy Me happened to chance upon this coupon again in Today's newspapers. Was so happy about it and went asking around for colleagues to give me if they happened to have the papers and do not need it.

And yes....I managed to get 8 pieces :) XP got 1 only....lousy him :p Will be buying it soon cos the offer gonna end on 17 Aug!

1st Visit to A Chinese Physician

Little Arielle's cough virus has been with her for the past 1.5 years. Sadly, western medication does not seems to help kill the virus thoroughly :( She would be okie for a few days and thereafter, cough for a few weeks. It was especially bad at night and our hearts go out to her when she couldn't get a good night's sleep.

Have been wanting to try out Chinese medication instead since western medication apparently can't do the job. Finally, Mummy Me managed to find out about this Chinese physician in Kembangan which is famous for treating kids. Have decided to give it a try and hope that she would be cured completely this time round!

We reached there early at about 1.15pm and our queue number was 11. Since they are only opened at 2pm, I took Little Arielle to Kembangan plaza and we lingered around the area until 1.55pm.

When we reached the clinic again, wahhh....the place is already swarmed with people! Done the registration and we waited patiently for our turn. Luckily my queue number was good. As such, the wait was less than half an hour.

The physician heard her breathing and checked her heartbeat. She said that Little Arielle's airways were sensitive.

She has to abstain from the following food items ->
1. Cold drinks
2. Chicken
3. Birds Nest
4. Egg white and eggs related products i.e. bread, cakes etc
5. Prawns
6. Crabs
7. And of course other heaty or spicy food

Faintz lor! Cannot eat eggs related products means she doesn't really have much choice of food left. Poor thing! But what to do....the physician says that she has a lot of phelgm and if she continues to feed on such food. She would not recover! we just had to be strict this time round!

After the examination, the physician recommended her to go through 'tui na' and I sat beside her while she is being treated by another physician. The whole 'tui na' process took about 20 minutes. It included her palm, stomach, face and back.

After the session, we went to collect her medication. The pharmacist took out a big bottle of black liquid medicine and medicine powder. From far, the medicine smell is already very pungent! I am scratching my head, wondering if Little Arielle can take it or not! The damage cost $53 and we need to go for review next Saturday.

Back home, I prepared Little Arielle's medication after her feed. 1 packet of medicine powder to be mixed with the black liquid medicine.

Little Arielle stirred on her own and to my surprise, she finished it without vomitting! I am so proud of this little girl! Thank god that she can take the bitter and pungent smell. Else I would have a hard time coaxing her. Hopefully, it can work this time round :)

50kg of Newspapers!

Mummy Me has been collecting newspapers for the past few months and it really made me feel like garung guni!

We had wanted to go Ikea for the longest time to exchange the papers for Smales points but somehow, we always had something on on Saturdays.

Finally, managed to squeeze time today to get it done! So happy about it because finally, my workstation and house is clear of newspapers :)

Checking Out the Mothercare Casting

It's the first day of the casting today and because Little Arielle has her class in Forum too, Mummy Me went to take a quick peek before her class ends.

Hmm seems like I can kinda of purchase up to $120 worth of items. Shall decide that she would go for the shoot next week.

Although the chance is super slim, but she will probably get a pic back as memory :)

Nothing beats having a good experience right :p

Hmm....now she has 2 denim shorts of the same exact design. Luckily the size is different. Shall pass the smaller size to mama so that she can wear it to her CMA class :p

Hee....I was elated when XP got Little Arielle to show me this pair of tickets which someone in his grassroot committee gave him. Hee....2nd time that there's some beneifts joining the committee. Anyway, it's not just me that's was happy, Little Arielle was jumping away with joy.

Then I asked her, how many tickets are there? She suddenly turned grumpy because she knew that there were only 2 and she won't be able to go hee!

XP quickly comforted her by saying that he would get another ticket :p

I was shocked to receive the approval letter that early when it was previously communicated that it's gonna be 3 weeks later. Just as well....I would be able to open the account earlier and get the payment. But first, I must go and count her dowry cos I'm gonna deposit those coins in, else Gong Gong will come after me :p

The Last Glimpse of KTM Tracks

It has been one of Mummy Me's greatest regret that I did not managed to take the last ride on the KTM. The KTM holds great memories for Mummy Me because it was one of the most memorable trip that we had via this authentic transport.

I still remembered that we took it when I was in secondary school to KL. It was a night ride and we had the sleeping suite. Every bed was separated by a piece of cloth which we can called it the curtain. I was sleeping on the lower deck. The windowns were wide open and the strong breeze just blew right into my face. It was pitch dark but the feeling was just great!

I had wanted to revive this feeling but it was just too late. We initially planned to take a ride on KTM in Mar this year with Little Arielle but somehow, the plan just din materialise.

Thereafter, with more work and other holiday plans, we couldn't squeeze out any empty slots for KTM :( As a result, we can just hear from the news announcement on the closure of the Tanjong Pagar station on 30 Jun.

But I was glad that they have allowed the public to go on the tracks by 31 Jul. And so, the clock starts ticking as Mummy Me tried to find suitable time slots to visit the tracks as I did not want to have another regret!

It was really difficult! I realised that both XP, me and Little Arielle were so busy! Of course, during the initial stage, it was XP who din really express interest in visiting it. I had even wanted to go on my own with Little Arielle via the public transport. But somehow, that seems difficult as I wasn't familiar with that area and that area was quite remote.

It was only on the last day before the track was closed to the public that we visited it! Boy was I excited and happy that we made it before it's final closure.... Enjoy the beautiful pics that I have taken!

NDP Preview Tickets!!

In my memory, XP and I only went for NDP preview once and that was many years back. The tickets then were obtained because we got it from one of my good friends who had some connection to get it. Thereafter, they started the balloting system and from then on, we have been trying our luck every year. Though there are people who said that it's more comfy to watch from home and you can see the whole view, somehow, the atmosphere there is different :)

Therefore, we prayed and hoped every year that we would get the tickets but it's year after year of disappointment :( Apparently, the balloting this year did not get our names too and I really wondered why are there people who are so lucky to get it a few times!!

Have already consoled myself about it and was very happy this evening when XP told me that he was given 2 tickets by PA for this Sat's preview!! Wow!! I was so excited. He was nice to go and ask for another one so that our family of 3 can go together. Hee....the person was so nice to give him another one. So in the end, we had 4 tickets!! Yeah!! I am so happy and definitely looking forward to the show this Saturday!
