Oh no, I think I must have been possessed leh! I 1 shot placed order for 6 pieces of dress for Little Arielle.
Jiat lard lah, online shopping is burning a hole in my pocket! But I just cannot resist the sweet thingy leh! Especially when I thought how nice it would look on Little Arielle. Hmm, in total have spent $91.39 on these dresses. Online shopping is becoming part of me until I can stay at home even during weekends. Shopping in malls doesn't give me that kind of attraction anymore. I can get nicer and cheaper stuff online. But of course, I would sometimes like to go out and take a breather hee!
Look at the nice dresses that I have ordered!

Picked Little Arielle up after my yoga lesson. Before we went off, daddy brought a hoola hoop and gave it to Little Arielle. Hahaha, once she got hold of the hoop, she started shaking her body! Aiyah, din bring my camera along! Else would have capture her in action!
Aiyo this CMI gal din watch where she is walking and knocked herself into the wall! Up comes a ba lu ku lor! Her forehead is always full of her "achievements". One subside after another! Dear darling, can you please watch where you are going!! Later not pretty how??
Got the Snowman Gap pyjamas from Jerlene today. Little Arielle only managed to see it late at night cos I had to work late today.
Her eyes were very sharp. She managed to pick out the items in the dark and it was in my bag! She was so excited and happy with the pyjamas and kept saying,"Snowman, snowman!"

It's always my PIL's practise to have a meal together during the Mid-Autumn Festival. This year's meal is a lunch at Ah Yat Hunan Restaurant located at Turf City.
Check out the dishes - Uploaded on 21 Sep 2008
Personally, I dun find the dishes fantastic. Probably not used to eating dishes prepared in this manner!
Anyway, the kids were not so patient to be in their seats for long. Soon, they were seen moving around like little monkeys!

Opps forgot to indicate that after the hug-hug pic, Lawrence was too heavy for Little Arielle until he fell onto her. Poor Little Arielle was crying out loud as her head hit the edge of the wall!
It's Little Arielle's Chinese birthday today and as such, we decided to make it special by bringing her to the Chinese Gardens. Hmm, why Chinese Gardens leh?? Cos there's the Hello Kitty and Friends lantern on display. Hmm, I guessed it's gonna be an exciting one since Hello Kitty is so popular in Singapore.
It's almost like 20-25 years since the both of us last visited this garden. Wat seh, seems like we haven't been to a lot of places for a long long time. But dun worry, Little Arielle will help us recall the past hee!
Tickets cost $15 each and it's free for children below 3 years old. This is the price you have to pay to see Hello Kitty and you get a free paper lantern! It's 6pm+ when we were in the garden and so the lightings were not on. However, all the lanterns started to light up at about 7pm. Wow, this is really facinating! All the characters seem to glow from far! And they really attract a lot of attention which is no good cos everyone started to squeeze in to have their pic taken! XP was so annoyed by a man who tried to take pic for either his kid or grandchild. Not sure if he did it on purpose or wat but he just came blocking in front of XP when XP was already in position to take pic for us. XP was so mad that he purposely went to block that man but that man simply can't be bothered. Hee can see the angry look on XP's face! Hmm bo pian lor! This is what happens in crowded places!
Saw a lot of kids holding on to those nice balloons. Little Arielle immediately recognised one of the characters - Dora. Thought of getting it for her but then again, it's only for that few hours and she wasn't even pestering me for it. So, better not spoil her too much hee and save a bit of money! It so happened that one of the visitors there passed by Little Arielle and gave her a small heart shaped balloon! That's the good thing about being cute hee! Gifts will automatically be given hahahaha!

Realised that Little Arielle had a cut on her right leg. Aiyo, dun noe how it actually happen. Quickly wipe off the blood and luckily the cut is not deep!
Anyway, it was indicated on the notice that there would be fireworks at 8.30pm. So we decided to leave after watching the fireworks. Well, it was quite a disappointing one but it's better than nothing.
Little Arielle just finished her food and XP just feel like teaching her Hokkien. So, to start off, he taught her how to say left hand and right hand in Hokkien. What a difficult start!

Even though the tent was collected some time ago, I din have the chance to open up and let Little Arielle play with it.
Finally, the chance came today! Wow, din know it can be that big hee! Looks fun leh! I feel like being a child again hee! *Big fun tent!* - Uploaded on 14 Sep 2008
Little Arielle was happily running in and out of the tent. Placed all her toys inside for her to enjoy herself. Felt happy when I saw her happy look!

Got a Little Tike phamplet during the Taka Baby Fair. Since then, Little Arielle has been looking at it almost everyday. Why is she so interested leh? Cos it's a phamplet full of toys and bikes. She would then tell you that she wants this and that toy. It somehow became her "menu" liaoz!

The last thing that I really want after a hard day's work is CRIES!! However, sad to say, Little Arielle simply "enjoys" irritating me with her cries! We went to pick her up from mama's house after my yoga session. Her action is super fast today. Once she was placed in her car seat, within spilt seconds, she got out of it and immediately climbed into the driver's seat. XP was already in the driver's seat and he quickly handed her over to me.
Little Arielle started pinching me real hard as she refused to be carried by me and insisted to go back to the driver's seat as she wants to "drive". She feels extremely happy when she is able to turn the steering wheel. However, that is a very dangerous act especially when the car is moving.
Her pinch was really painful. I smacked her on her hands and placed her back in her car seat. She started wailing away for more than half of the journey. I tell you, I am really PISSED OFF!! This is really noise pollution and it is deafening especially in an enclosed area and when you are tired and sleepy!
Got so irritated that I really hope that I can reach home asap! Think XP also couldn't take it that he drove fast and was concentrating hard on the drive.
The thought of opening the car door and throwing her out really strikes me hard! Is it a sigh of stress?? Why is she not listening to me??
Cannot stand mama again who is repeating her previous same complaints to me! Have already told her that if she accede to Little Arielle's requests everytime, there would not be a stop to it.
She would keep telling me that it is so embarassing when Little Arielle starts shouting and screaming in the public. As such, to stop her from doing so, she got no choice but to get whatever she wants for her!
This is no way to teach a child! By giving in to her, she would have the conception that she will be able to get what she wants whenever she throws tantrum in the public!
So now the question is, how to educate the elderly so that they would know how to keep the little one in hand?? 伤脑精 leh!
XP decided to take a drive to our new house to check out the progress of the construction. Suddenly, he asked me if there are any good schools in Marine Parade. So I pointed to the right and said,"Tao Nan". He said that he is not referring to primary school but rather schools suitable for Little Arielle's current age.
Oh, I'm so happy when he finally decided to let Little Arielle attend school. So I took the chance to quickly tell him that one of his friend's girl is also gonna attend playground in Jan09. She is a few months older than Little Arielle and according to her mother, it would be a 2 hours session daily and that would cost about $200.
Hmm, I guessed should really start looking around for such schools in Tampines for Little Arielle. Seems like most people have already started to register their kids for next year's intake. I better start doing something too!
Mama Tong started another round of Baby Gap pyjamas BP to clear her remaining stock. I din manage to get one of the designs the last round cos she said that the size that I wanted is out of stock.
I saw it again today and it is available in size 4T. Hack lah, buy first even though Little Arielle is only 2 years old lor. But it's okie lah, she is currently wearing 3T and it's quite all right cos the pyjamas is supposed to fit her snugly. So if she is getting a bigger size, that means it would just be slightly bigger. In any case, kids grow fast nowadays, so the trick is always to get bigger size so that it will last longer for them hee! One of the money saving tips that you must learn hor!

It is only children in this society that gets to enjoy all the luxury! Hmm, so are we spoiling them? Well, I really dun noe? Only know that I just spent $9.90 today on a 40g toothpaste for Little Arielle! Wat seh, $9.90 can at least get me 2 tubes of Darlie 250g toothpaste lor!
The brand - First Teeth is recommended by my colleague, Irene. She bought a lot of tubes and I tap on her so that we can save a bit of shipping costs as she purchased online. She said that this brand of toothpaste is selling at $13+ in Singapore! Wat seh, I already complain when I got it at $10, let alone $13!!!
Oh well, the following is what the toothpaste promises:
- no flouride or saccharin (dun noe wat is it??) - no abrasives or soap - no artifical preservatives - safe to swallow - contains natural milk enzymes
Well, the milk enzymes is said to help reduce bacteria in plaque film and fight early tooth decay. It also provides safer cleaning of the baby's teeth and gums. Sounds damn good right??

Anyway, 算了吧! This is the result of a one-child policy! Dun dote on her then dote on who leh hee! Well, I know a bit lame lah! This shouldn't be the reason hee. But since she needs to use it. might as well get a good one for her!
Hopefully it would make her brush her teeth diligently. Will start this weekend then!
Mama was giving me feedback that Little Arielle is getting out of hand. She would always pester mama to buy things for from NTUC. Those things that she wants would include biscuits, Yakult and sometimes probably sweets.
Have already told mama not to buy for her as I dun like Little Arielle to feed on junk food on a daily basis. Mama would say that if she doesn't accede to Little Arielle's request, she would create a scene there and then, thereby making her embarassed!
She can start screaming at the top of her voice and would attract all attention on her. In order to keep her down, she got no choice but to buy for her!
I was quite pissed with such thinking! While I understand that they dote on their grandchild but going overboard will not help in the child's development. I told her that Little Arielle doesn't behave in that way when she is out with us during weekends. So, it goes to show that she knows who will give in to her whims and fancies!! And if they are going to continue with it, she would be terribly spoilt by them!
And when that happens, we parents would be the ones who are suffering! Sometimes, really feel like putting down everything and be a SAHM. However, situation doesn't permit and I have to depend on someone. While I appreciate mama's help greatly to take care of her, on the other hand, I felt frustrated when she fails to execute the necessary disciplinary action on Little Arielle.
Hee, yes, I bought things for Little Arielle again. But, dun scold me first hor! Cos this is one of her essential items! She only got 2 pairs of socks so I thought of adding another 4 to her collection so that she dun always wear the same old pair.
Furthermore, I think she would outgrow her socks soon and since there is a current BP selling nice, lovely socks at only $10 for 4 pairs, I quickly grabbed the deal.
Received the items today and true enough, it's so sweet leh!
XP decided to pack our stuff which is still sitting in Jerome's house. His house is sold and we would need to vacate our things from there. It was a tiring procedure and I literally took hours to pack. Probably it's because I'm allergic to dust and so was sneezing away while doing the packing. The job was more tedious as I had to jagar Little Arielle while doing the work. Being young and energetic, she was practically touching this and playing with that. Aiyo, I almost died lor!
Best part is, she had such good stamina that she din sleep until 5.30pm. That means she was awake for the past 9 hours as she woke up at 8.30am today!
For all those car lovers, you would probably know what is Autobacs and you would be even happier to know that they had recently opened their 2nd outlet in the East, only if you are staying in the East too hee! For the benefit of those who do not know, it's actually a shop that specialise in car accessories (lots of them imported from Japan) and car tyres and lots more car-related items. It has been a very popular shop when they had their one and only outlet in the West. Now that they have opened up another one in the East, I am sure that they are gonna attract crowds too!
XP patronised them this morning after our breakfast. We were there early and thus, we were assured of a parking lot. I feel that the shop here is smaller but nevermind, not important to me cos I'm not into all these men's stuff. Little Arielle is very excited cos what welcomed us at the entrance is this trolley that is tapping on the design of a car. Placed Little Arielle inside it and she was very happy turning the wheel.

After XP got what he wanted, there was popcorn and a balloon for Little Arielle on our way out as it's their opening ceremony! Wow, the carpark is now all full of cars and more coming in to join in the crowd!
*As usual, the balloon girl!* - Uploaded on 12 Sep 2008
It has been a long time since I last slept for 12 hours! I kinda of cannot believe it myself too. It has been difficult to sleep for that long for me cos time is always not enough for me to use. But it was really a tiring day yesterday, so much so, the 3 of us slept at 8pm. Hmm so Little Arielle is able to sleep that early after all!
She shall have this kind of early bedtime treatment when we move into our new house. Although it may be late to start such discipline for her, but I guessed it's late than never! She has too many distractions in my PIL's house. So hopefully, she can sleep early without any distractions by then! Then her dark circles will be gone and I will have more time for myself and perhaps I can sleep early too!
It's not the "birthday" of our car but rather it's the birthday of CRV club! We got our car on 24 Dec 2007 and XP happened to saw this CRV forum on the website. He decided to join in as a member as he finds the club fun and interesting. Soon, he was roped in as a committee member!
I must admit it's a good club to join as we come together and share the common interests and activities like driving into Msia for some great durians hee!
Okie enough of that, back to the event! We reached Labrador Seafood Restaurant at about 2pm+. Henry is already there to guide all the cars into the "parade square" which is made exclusive for this event. We got down, mingle around and XP started to help out with the registration. Not bad leh, still get a LED torchlight and a Labrador Seafood Restaurant discount card! Little Arielle was busi walking around like a little supervisor!
Soon, most of the guests arrived and the first thing to do is to have the photo taking session as the organiser is afraid that it would rain. Hmm, in the end, the weather was great! Heaven is kind to us not to rain today. It was sunny the whole day leh! Okie, after the important task is done, we proceed to have our food. Wat seh, damn hungry leh cos din have lunch :(. Food was good considering that it's only high tea at this ulu restaurant.
Last program for the day would be cake-cutting ceremony and most important of all - Lucky draw! The cake is nice hee and lucky draw is even better hahaha! Everyone willbe happy cos it's a sure-win lucky thing! Buay tahan leh, XP is given the task of the MC hahahaha! Din know that he can talk in front of so many people leh! Okie lah, he tried to humour everyone by telling 冷笑话 and not bad lor, those people give him face by laughing!
Time to go off after the lucky draw session is over. Committee members cannot go off first cos nid to do some packing mah. So we left the place at about 6pm+. Wat biangz, can tell you that I am dead beat leh. Looking after Little Arielle in such open area is no joke! She kept running around until she hit herself against the table edge. The wound was just a few cm away from her eyes and luckily the edge is not sharp. Else, sure to bleed leh. Nevertheless, a bruise is still there! Din have help cos XP is busi helping out! At the end of the event, I let him took over cos I really cannot take it liaoz!
We had a light dinner with 2 of the other committee members and thereafter proceeded straight home. Took turns to have shower and lights off at 8pm!! One of the earliest time that I sleep eversince I had Little Arielle! Good night!
After obtaining the diaper labels from Mummy Ching, I was all excited to collect the tent today! Tried to call the silly company yesterday to arrange for an appointment to do the collection today and I had to make 4-5 calls before someone picks up the phone. Alamak, wonder what are they doing leh??
Anyway, XP drove me to the collection centre. It was a long way to walk to the company. All the units there look like big warehouse. Along the way in, I saw a few parents coming out with their tents. I think that is the only company that is operating today. There was only a young chap around and I just gotta fill in my particulars before he hands the tent over to me.
Little Arielle was very excited but I din have the time to open it up for her to play cos after we got home, we quickly put her to sleep as we have another function coming up a few hours later....

It wasn't easy to arrange for this meet up this morning but I am glad that we managed to work things out.
Sway Lee aka Rachel was my poly 1st year friend and I am happy to say that we managed to stay in touch despite the fact that she has migrated to Australia! Still remember those days that she doesn't put on skirts and insist on wearing pants/jeans wherever she goes! Right now, she is a certifed mummy with good household skills hee! I should start learning from her liaoz hee!
Anyway, she's back in Singapore with her 1 year old gal, Ellie for 3 weeks. I always make it a point to arrange for a meet up whenver she is back in Singapore! This time around, I included Mdm Koh and family in.
Due to the fact that we all had something on today, we managed to squeeze in some time in the morning to meet up. So this means that it has gotta be as early as 8.30pm. Well, bo pian lor, for the sake of good old friends, early also must wake up right! Little Arielle was most uncooperative this morning! Not sure if it is because she din have enough sleep and therefore was very grouchy. She refused to get dressd and cried at the slighest moment! Alamak, I almost died lor! It took me a while to finally leave the house and luckily, we ain't too late for the meet up.
All of them were waiting for us hee! Pai seh hor! We had breakfast at Cafe Cartel and managed to catch up with one another. Time flies....Mdm Koh had 2 boys liaoz while Sway Lee and I each had a girl. Missed those days where we were always playing like nobody's business and now, we have all upgraded to be mummies liaoz hee! Sometimes, still cannot believe that I'm a mother hahahaha!

Clumsy me got my feet entangled by the bedsheet and I fell to the floor. Little Arielle who was sitting on my bed shouted loudly and broke out into tears. Wat biangz, I got a shock from her man!
Finally got to understand that she was scared when she saw me fall. Hahaha, not bad, at least she "dotes" on me too!
Subsequently, she kept saying,"Mummy fall down, pain pain!"
I always made it a point to bring Little Arielle out monthly on the 5th! As such, it's not an exception today.
As usual, we picked up her at my mama's place and XP decided to bring her to Parkway. Hmm first time putting her the clips that I have bought for her as well as her Pediped shoes! I must have been really tired until I fell asleep in the car while we were on our way there. It has been a while since we last visited this shopping mall.Hmm must cure our hunger first before we start walking around.
We had ba kut teh at the foodcourt. It's indeed yummy and you get to have free flow of refill! Little Arielle was busi eating rice and of course dirtying herself!
After dinner, we must of course exercise to have our food digested. Walk around the mall and took the chance to take more shots of Little Arielle!
At last, one of the few days that I can go back on the dot. Must resume back my previous "on the dot" schedule before another round of OT erupts again! Since we are early, we brought Little Arielle to the pasar malam that was just across my mama's house. Although it's a pte ltd pasar malam, but it's better than nothing lor!

Finally had some "loose" time in office cos my "baby" was delivered on 28 Aug 2008. Dun be mistaken hor, I'm not pregnant! Talking about my project that rolled out on 28 Aug!
So since, I had a little bit of extra time, I decided to complete this important task that has been hanging in the air for some time.
And the task is to....fill up the Abbott Family Rewards application form and to attach receipts which showed proof that I am a supporter for their milk powder! Well, how the points system works is that for every tin of Abbott milk powder that you purchase, you would be allocated certain number of points. The points given is based on the weight of the milk powder as well as which purchase it is i.e. Gain IQ/Pediasure/Similac....etc.
*Application form* - Uploaded on 08 Sep 2008
After accumulating certain number of points, you will get to redeem back milk powder. Hahaha, go one big round and get back the same thing. Well, better than nothing lor, since everything is so x in Singapore.
I was quite worried cos I got receipts since Jan 08 and I dun noe if they can still accept it or not cos you know lah, busi people like us will not have time for such thing lor! So, I went to read the terms and conditions and hengz ah, they will take in as long as it is within 12 months! So without further ado, I filled up everything and it's ready to be sent out tomorrow!
And while going through the receipts, I did a calculation and realised that within a span of 8 months, I have spent $500 over just on milk powder. The figure should be higher cos I think I have misplaced some of the receipts. Well, indeed, having a child in Singapore 是贵的 lor!
Sometime ago, I saw Mummy Ching's post on the huggies tent and loved it very much. Gotta know from her that she has redeemed the item by submitting 6 of her huggies diaper labels. I got excited as Little Arielle is also wearing huggies diaper. So I quickly went to their website to take a look at the redemption criteria.
Alamak, they only allowed Huggies Pull-Up Pants and Huggies Ultra's labels which is not what Little Arielle is wearing lor. Tried to post online to see if there are any kind souls to give me the labels for free and realised that there are so many other mummies asking for the same thing! Oh my, forget it man!
Well, kinda forgot about this matter when along came Mummy Ching who asked me if I managed to get the labels and I sadly said,"No" She said that she has extras and would like to give it to me. Wow, I was so happy! Thanks Mummy Ching! That's really nice of u hee! I seems to be more excited than Little Arielle!
Had to report to work at Tampines Call Centre in the morning for some job preview session. As such, I would come over to my mama's house in the morning and will go to Tampines from there.
I was carrying Little Arielle and when I sat down, her 公公fed her with 包and wanted to carry her over. Little Arielle immediately rejected without consideration. I was pretty shocked with her reaction as she usually prefer her 公公over me! No matter how many times he tried, Little Arielle simply refused to be carried by him.
She was clinging onto me like a koala bear!! It was only until a while later that daddy tried again and told her that he would carry her to see bird bird that she allowed her 公公to carry her.
Then when I was about to go off to work, she kept wanting me to carry her. Luckily, managed to convince her to let me go to work! Win liaoz, still need permission from her lor!
