Updates of Little Arielle's Health Status

Well, thank god that:

1. Little Arielle's fingers are fine now. Awaiting for the skin to grow back to her skin colour. No more raw wounds and the dried skin has already peeled off!

2. Hmm din hear her coughing anymore. Hopefully it stays this way else more medication is required!

3. Her rashes are gone!! No more itch and no more scratches = no more frustrations!

Crossing my fingers that everyone would be healthy as we count down to our Japan trip! Another 6 more days to go....

Kena Scolded

XP would seldom scream his head off unless Little Arielle is very very naughty. He wanted to clean up for her and change her diaper so that she can have a comfortable sleep. Who knows this little one refused to let him do it and was wrinkling like a worm. XP was so mad that he shouted at her. She refused to listen and continued with what she is doing. XP couldn't take it, raised his voice and grabbed her down. As children do not like to be forced to do things, Little Arielle's only reaction is to cry. Her cries were louder when XP raised his voice. Cries turned into bitter sobbing that I cannot take it and decided to take over from here.

Hugged this naughty one so that she can stop crying and settle down on her sobs. Next, I quickly changed her diapers and clean up for her. Once she's done, she stopped her crying. Got her to apologize to Daddy and they are "good friends" once again!

Biting Spree!

Well, is this how one reacts if they dun like someone? Little Arielle only likes to bite me. She would sieze any opportunities to bite me on my fingers or on my arm when I am not paying attention. Her bites apparently left markings on my arms for a few hours! Thought that their gums are not itchy after all the teeth are out??

Dun Wan Me Again!

Well, I kinda of "see open" liaoz when Little Arielle refused to let me carry her. She still prefers either her gong gong or her daddy. Is it really true that opposite sex attracts?? I thought that mother is the most important person?? Well, seems like it's not the case with Little Arielle. Hmm, or am I such a failure that made her like others more than me??

Veg Lover??

Little Arielle was at the dinner table with me. Wanted to let her eat some food. First, I took some minced meat egg and she said "Bu Yao". Next, I took some sliced pork and again she said "Bu Yao". Alamak, this dun wan, that dun wan! In the end, I asked her what does she want? She pointed to the green leafy vegetable and I thought that she is kidding me! I took a bit of the veg and gave it to her. Oh! She really wants to eat that! What a pleasant surprise!

Partial Success

Hmm, managed to place Little Arielle on her mattress and she continued with her sleep. Thought that she would wake up once I changed her position. She continued her sleep until this morning about 5am when XP shifted her up to the bed as he is going off to help with Douglas's wedding.

Hmm, this is indeed a good start! Way to go man!

She Bit and She Fell

Huh? What does it mean? Well, it means she bit me and she fell off the bed!

What happened was this naughty one suddenly just grabbed hold of my hand and bit me real hard! I can see all her teeth marks on my arm and it turned red in a few minutes! Not sure if her gums are itchy or she just enjoys biting me! Hmm probably because I did it to her when she was young. Aiyah of cos it's the geh geh type lah, din really bite mah! Perhaps she remembered deep down in her!

After she is satisfied with her bite, she was rolling to and fro on the bed. Have already warned her to be careful as I saw her nearing the edge. Either she din understand me or she simply ignored me and the next moment, she was off the bed. Luckily XP was very near her and he managed to catch hold of her head. Thus, only her body was hurt. Else it would be disasterous again if she hurts her head! Aiyo, why is she so accident prone??

A Nuisance Morning!

Since XP is not around in the morning (5.30am), I'm left alone with Little Arielle. She has been a little devil since 8.30am, the time that she woke up. She is either busy with her hands, trying to grab things that she is not supposed to, else she is cranky and whining away for no apparent reason (probably missing her daddy!) XP has gone to help out with one of his CRV friend, Douglas as a driver for his wedding car!

I had to multi-task ~ looking after her and doing up her slideshow. Aiyo, alone is indeed siongz leh! Even din have the chance to eat breakfast. Alamak was feeling so hungry until XP called and asked me to get ready as he would be fetching us to Douglas's house for buffet lunch.

Finally had a chance to eat something and that was already about 2pm. Was happily enjoying my food when Little Arielle had to spill the dessert on the carpet. Alamak, not sure whose dessert is that but apparently, it was just left on the table. This naughty girl's itchy hands went to meddle with it and ta da, part of the dessert was spilled onto the carpet. Luckily the carpet was not stained! Some of his friends assisted to do the clean up and I got XP to carry her away. Was so angry with her behaviour today!

Din really stay long at his place as XP was pretty tired. Went back home and after XP has bathed, 1st thing he did is to SLEEP....

Where is Daddy?

Wat biangz, the first person that Little Arielle went looking around when she wakes up is her DADDY! Next, she would keep searching around for her daddy and kick up a fuss when she din get to see him!

Walkaton

XP decided to park at a carpark near Tao Nan School and we will walk to Parkway for some window shopping. It took us about 15-20 minutes to reach. I guessed people will long legs would probably take a shorter time.

The first thing that XP was looking for is the money changer. He wanna find out what is the rate for yen. Our trip is just 1 week away and we have yet to change our money. Steady hor! Well, that's because yen has been rising recently and XP feels that the rate will go down, so we have been waiting patiently for it to go down. Hopefully, our wish will come true leh!

The next thing that XP was looking out for is his QB house. Orr he wanna have a haircut! So I guessed that is the real intention of him going to Parkway. I walked around with Little Arielle while XP waits for his turn for the haircut. Hee hee spent money again at Isetan! Remember I bought the bolster for Little Arielle the other day. Hmm, today I bought bolster cover for her! Wanted to buy matching pillow for her too but was stopped by XP. Same reason lah, dun anyhow spend money unnecessarily lor!

Happened to pass by the nursery room in Isetan. Din know that there is one in the first place. Only remembered that there is one in Isetan Scotts. Took the chance to go in to change Little Arielle's diaper and at the same time took some water for her. One thing professional about Isetan's nursery room is that they provide hot water and cold water. To add on, their changing area is also clean and comfortable. This is what a nursey room should have!

After the nursery room visit, we went round the other floors and thereafter left Parkway. Walked to one coffeeshop near Chapel Road to have our dinner and afterwhich proceeded to walk back to the carpark. Wat seh, I think we have walked about 1 hour altogether. Good exercise man!

My Doing

I was very mad with Little Arielle today. Her actions were quick and she just grabbed the small packet of milo right in front of my eyes. What made me angry was that she went to squeeze the packet and milo was spilt all over my shorts. I spanked her hard with my bare hands. To make things worst, she went to grab other dangerous items on the table. I could not control and I immediately took the cane and beat her on her right arm. Din know that it would leave a mark there. Dun remember hitting her that hard.

Felt so guilty after that. XP kept mumbling that dun noe would be a permanent mark or not. Made me feel so bad and I quickly use lotion to rub on her skin. Hengz ah, the mark went off a few hours later....

Swimming Time

Ah gong's house has a swimming pool and Little Arielle is all ready to go into the pool. We din prepare her swimming gear and it's already late at night. Thus, I was not for the idea to let her swim. Sikali she catch a cold and fall sick then I would have a problem when we go Japan. So to play safe, we din allow her to go down.

Hmm, we just let her dip her legs in the water for a while hee hee!

Ah Gong's Birthday

It's not Little Arielle's gong gong but mine. Hmm, this means it's Little Arielle's lao gong gong. Hee hee.

We celebrated his birthday today but the interesting thing is, I dun noe how old he is. Well, nevermind, as long as everyone is happy! Big auntie is as usual the chef in charge. She has prepapred a lot of food for us and everyone is enjoying it!

Greedy Pig!

I supposed all kids are like that! They like to eat whatever we adults are eating, especially sinful food! We ordered McDonald for mama as she had not had her dinner.

When the food arrived, Little Arielle was equally excited. She kept pestering XP for food. XP had no choice but to give her some fries. I had to come in and restrict him for giving so much to her as Little Arielle has yet to fully recover from her cough.

Aiyo, hope that the fries is not gonna make her cough worst tonight!

No More Rashes!

Oh finally the rashes are gone! Dun even know how it came about in the first place. If it's not due to food (as mama claimed that she did not give any foreign food to Little Arielle) then it must be due to some germs or virus in the environment or objects. Whatever the case may be, the good news is that Little Arielle has recovered from it. But the bad news is that she has a few scratch lines around her neck. This is a result of the itch. It must have been that itchy until she can't help scratching it. Gotta take care of the wound and hope that it would go off soon....A worrying mummy....

Road to Recovery

Was glad that Little Arielle's cough, burnt fingers and rashes are better. Let's hope that everything is gone before the Japan trip so that she can enjoy herself in Japan! Another 12 more days to Japan....

Little Arielle was exceptionally happy when her jiu jiu is back early today to play with her!! Hmm this jiu jiu is more lovable hee hee!

Ice-Cream Time

25th Mar 2008

Just reached mama's house and saw a young chap pushing his trolley with a box of ice-cream. Hmm realised that he doing door-to-door sales for his cornetto and magnum ice-cream. XP has craving for ice-cream and Little Arielle was also looking very interested in it.

To help the young chap and curb our craving, we bought the package which consists of 5 magnum and 4 cornetto. It only cost us $17. This young chap I think is only between 15 - 20 years old and he has to do such task. His earnings is quite little. If he sells $100 worth of ice-cream, he would only get $30. So I should say that our kids nowadays are so fortunate and pampered. So much so that they dun noe that there are unfortunate people around us. All of us should count our blessings!

Anyway, back to our ice-cream! XP couldn't resist the temptation and decided to have 1 stick before dinner. Little Arielle was sticking to him closely so that she can get to eat too hee hee!

What! Bump into Forehead Again!!

Little Arielle was very close to me when she bang herself near the edge of the table. Luckily the edge is not sharp, else her forehead is sure gonna bleed. The bump is now on her left side of her forehead. Now balance liazo lor, each side got 1 bump.

A lot of attention is really required especially when kids can walk and run. It is indeed tiring to run after them after a day's work. I really salute to SAHM who can be with their kids the whole day, 24/7.

Sometimes, it's really hard to strike a balance. It's either you work or you dun work. Each situation has got its pros and cons and whichever option that you choose, you would have to be responsible for it. Hmm who knows 1 fine day, I might decide to be a SAHM too hee hee!

Her Rashes Status

Due to some work committments, I am unable to bring Little Arielle to the doc this morning. Thus, I can only call back every now and then to check on her status. Last update by mama at 5.30pm was that her rash was still quite bad. Told XP that we have to bring her to the doc tonight. I was quite reluctant cos I remembered that the doctor on duty tonight is the one that I dun like. But if her situation is bad, I just have to bring her there even though I din like her.

Went back immediately to fetch Little Arielle to the doctor. Ah, realised that her rashes have went off quite a bit. So decided not to bring her to the doctor and will monitor her situation again tomorrow.

Praying hard that it would go off totally tomorrow!
