Aiyah!

Clumsy me got my feet entangled by the bedsheet and I fell to the floor. Little Arielle who was sitting on my bed shouted loudly and broke out into tears. Wat biangz, I got a shock from her man!

Finally got to understand that she was scared when she saw me fall. Hahaha, not bad, at least she "dotes" on me too!

Subsequently, she kept saying,"Mummy fall down, pain pain!"

23rd Month @ Parkway

I always made it a point to bring Little Arielle out monthly on the 5th! As such, it's not an exception today.

As usual, we picked up her at my mama's place and XP decided to bring her to Parkway. Hmm first time putting her the clips that I have bought for her as well as her Pediped shoes! I must have been really tired until I fell asleep in the car while we were on our way there. It has been a while since we last visited this shopping mall.Hmm must cure our hunger first before we start walking around.

We had ba kut teh at the foodcourt. It's indeed yummy and you get to have free flow of refill! Little Arielle was busi eating rice and of course dirtying herself!

After dinner, we must of course exercise to have our food digested. Walk around the mall and took the chance to take more shots of Little Arielle!

Pasar Malam

At last, one of the few days that I can go back on the dot. Must resume back my previous "on the dot" schedule before another round of OT erupts again! Since we are early, we brought Little Arielle to the pasar malam that was just across my mama's house. Although it's a pte ltd pasar malam, but it's better than nothing lor!

Managed to get a "My Melody" passport holder for Little Arielle. Not bad lah, only costing $1.50 hee! Bought coconut drink for my family, sweet corn and cheese sausage for Little Arielle. She was happy feasting on the food!

Abbott Family Rewards

Finally had some "loose" time in office cos my "baby" was delivered on 28 Aug 2008. Dun be mistaken hor, I'm not pregnant! Talking about my project that rolled out on 28 Aug!

So since, I had a little bit of extra time, I decided to complete this important task that has been hanging in the air for some time.

And the task is to....fill up the Abbott Family Rewards application form and to attach receipts which showed proof that I am a supporter for their milk powder! Well, how the points system works is that for every tin of Abbott milk powder that you purchase, you would be allocated certain number of points. The points given is based on the weight of the milk powder as well as which purchase it is i.e. Gain IQ/Pediasure/Similac....etc.

After accumulating certain number of points, you will get to redeem back milk powder. Hahaha, go one big round and get back the same thing. Well, better than nothing lor, since everything is so x in Singapore.

I was quite worried cos I got receipts since Jan 08 and I dun noe if they can still accept it or not cos you know lah, busi people like us will not have time for such thing lor! So, I went to read the terms and conditions and hengz ah, they will take in as long as it is within 12 months! So without further ado, I filled up everything and it's ready to be sent out tomorrow!

And while going through the receipts, I did a calculation and realised that within a span of 8 months, I have spent $500 over just on milk powder. The figure should be higher cos I think I have misplaced some of the receipts. Well, indeed, having a child in Singapore 是贵的 lor!

Sometime ago, I saw Mummy Ching's post on the huggies tent and loved it very much. Gotta know from her that she has redeemed the item by submitting 6 of her huggies diaper labels. I got excited as Little Arielle is also wearing huggies diaper. So I quickly went to their website to take a look at the redemption criteria.

Alamak, they only allowed Huggies Pull-Up Pants and Huggies Ultra's labels which is not what Little Arielle is wearing lor. Tried to post online to see if there are any kind souls to give me the labels for free and realised that there are so many other mummies asking for the same thing! Oh my, forget it man!

Well, kinda forgot about this matter when along came Mummy Ching who asked me if I managed to get the labels and I sadly said,"No" She said that she has extras and would like to give it to me. Wow, I was so happy! Thanks Mummy Ching! That's really nice of u hee! I seems to be more excited than Little Arielle!

Koala Bear

Had to report to work at Tampines Call Centre in the morning for some job preview session. As such, I would come over to my mama's house in the morning and will go to Tampines from there.

I was carrying Little Arielle and when I sat down, her 公公fed her with 包and wanted to carry her over. Little Arielle immediately rejected without consideration. I was pretty shocked with her reaction as she usually prefer her 公公over me! No matter how many times he tried, Little Arielle simply refused to be carried by him.

She was clinging onto me like a koala bear!! It was only until a while later that daddy tried again and told her that he would carry her to see bird bird that she allowed her 公公to carry her.

Then when I was about to go off to work, she kept wanting me to carry her. Luckily, managed to convince her to let me go to work! Win liaoz, still need permission from her lor!

Almost died from anger just now lor! Cannot believe that kids as young as 2 years old can make me "bengz". They seems to be devils more than angels leh! XP tabao back home and Little Arielle also wanna join in to eat. So, again I put on her bib, placed her in her high chair and got her utensils ready.

Placed chee cheong fun in her bowl and immediately she rejected the food. Dun wanna eat nevermind, she refused to give me her fork which still has bits of chee cheong fun on it. Gotta snatch from her else she would start flinking it onto the floor! Of course she started screaming and shouting lor. XP quickly shifted her to the other side of the dining table. He gave her chicken rice and I was of course against it cos the rice is so oily. But apparently, that is the only item amongst the spread of food that she is interested in! Really a typical "png tang"! Just like her daddy!

Asked her if she wants chicken she would tell you, I want rice rice! While eating, she can still say "jim pai si" which means very naughty in Hokkien! Clever lor! Subsequently, she said,"tam jiak". Yah, glad to know that she is aware that she is greedy!

Finally XP managed to get her to eat "whipped potato" and she said,"Very nice!" And when I gave her some chicken, she said,"很好吃!" Of course lah, where got give you awful food to eat leh!

Then after the eating incident is over, for no apparent reason, she started hitting XP. XP was mad and she was smacked 3 times on her palm! Again, the crying starts again lor! Wat biangz, what's the matter with her today leh? Took her a while to stop crying and XP gave her biscuits after she finally decided to stop crying! Buay tahan....

Who's Little Mermaid?

Hee hee, none other than yours truly! Who said that, Little Arielle hor, not me! I not so thick-skinned to claim myself as Little Mermaid. Hmm but since Little Arielle said that I am Little Mermaid, then I shall be lah! Not bad lah, afterall Little Mermaid is pretty too hee!

The Learning Process....

Little Arielle's nai nai gave her some noodles to eat. As usual, she refused to be fed and insisted to eat on her own. Since so, I quickly let her put on her bib and placed her in her high chair. Hmm, not bad lah, at least her "strokes" are right hee! Hopefully, with a few more times of practise, she can make it on her own!

Thanks to this wonderful invention ~ the pocket bib that housed all the bits and pieces that fall out of her mouth!

Most important of all, she likes the steering wheel lor! And if we refused to let her move over to the driver seat, she would scream on top of her voice and wriggle like a worm in the car. Wat biangz! 快被她气死!! I think my life is shortened by dun noe how many years liaoz!

Luckily, she only knocked her chin and there was no bleed. Aiyo so careless of him!

Picnic @ Changi Beach

It was an arrangement made few days back as Mdm Koh came up with the idea of having a picnic at Changi Beach. She chose Changi Beach over the others as she mentioned that it is quieter and the bicycles up for rental over there are much newer as compared to those available in East Coast and Pasir Ris Park.

As I was really busy with work recently, she done most of the coordination work with Jenny to make the event today possible! Jenny's important task is to wake up at 6.30am today to check out the weather and she would sms the both of us to let us know whether to proceed or not. Our contingency plan is to "luan" at Mdm Koh's house in case it really rains as the weather these days are really unpredictable.

Okie, message really came in at 6.30am and it's a positive one! So it means Changi Beach, here we come! Looking forward to see Mdm Koh and family (which includes SP, Kayden and Kyan) and not forgetting Jenny aka YYY and bf (OTY)!

Woke up at about 7.30am and it was really a struggle to wake up at that time cos I was damn tired. But the thought of meeting up with good old friends and enjoying ourselves at the beach just gave me the strength to wake up. After packing my stuff and making sure everyone is ready, I know that I cannot make it at 8.30am. In the end, only managed to reach Changi Beach at about 9.15am and luckily the others din wait long for us!

Wow, what a spread of food! There's bee hoon, sandwich, taiwan sausage, apple salad, nuggets, hot dog and my all-time favourite chicken wings! All prepared by Mdm Koh and maid! Kudos to her for making the effort and we know that she can definitely be depended on where food is concerned hee! Don't worry, I will contribute my part when my new house is ready :)! Thanks to YYY for helping to jagar Little Arielle for a while that I can have the chance to chit-chat with Mdm Koh! Wondering who she is? She is my damn good friend for the past 13 years! Cannot believe that we have known each other for that long lor! What is consoling is that we still managed to stay in touch! Which is so important especially when we each have our own family. We have been through a lot and I truly appreciate those days when we gave each other strength and support that made us got our degree successfully! Thanks for being my friend!!

Okie, enough of mushy words hee! So after the sumptuous breakfast, we shifted ourselves nearer to the beach. The weather is really great! It's sunny and windy! What a good day have we chosen hee! The kids were enjoying themselves with the bike while I continued my chat with Mdm Koh.

Din know that time passes that fast. We have been lazing around the beach for more than 3 hours. Can see the dark clouds approaching. So decided to take some pic together and leave for the day.

Little Arielle!!

Happen to sing,"I love you" and Little Arielle continued with,"You love me, we are happy family!" Din know that she knows how to sing this song leh! Really caught us by surprise!

Still remember the time when she would automatically cry upon hearing this song. I guess it's because this is the last song of the Barney vcd so she knows that after this, she would have nothing to watch liaoz. But luckily she doesn't cry upon hearing the song now hee!

Opps, Did it Again!!

It was not intentional that I want to leave Little Arielle at my mama's house again! But the experience last night was indeed a killer! She was practically kicking me in my back every other moment. Her kicks was so powerful that I was woken up by her and as such it kept me awake the whole night. I was totally irritated and pissed off that I shouted to her,"What's wrong with you??" Apparently, she din response lor! She might be having nightmare but at that moment, I just cannot be bothered about what she is having cos I am practically all drained out! XP woke up upon hearing my shout and he carried Little Arielle down to her mattress and slept with her. I only had a peaceful sleep I think for only 1-2 hours before day breaks and I gotta go for work!

Basically, I am only working with my body today. My soul has vanished into the air. In addition, I had to work late again tonight so sorrie mama, gotta trouble you again tonight!

Haven't Done This For A While....

Cannot remember when was the last time that I din bring Little Arielle home. This means that we have always been bringing her back hee. But then recently, my work has been so overwhelming that I am almost half-dead by the time I am home.

In addition, Little Arielle is not the kind of kid that would sleep early. By bringing her back, it means that I would have to entertain her until this little princess decides to sleep.

So I had to make the decision to let her stay over at mama's house for the night! Need to get back some energy before I can "catch up" with Little Arielle!

The Whining Starts

Dun noe what happened to Little Arielle tonight, she cannot be scolded one leh! When you just raised your voice a little bit, she broke down in tears. When asked for certain things and she is not given, she starts her whining again....

Aiyo, cannot take it leh! XP is trying to control his cool! Hmm, still doing well now and we are taken off the stress now as she is entertained by her 爷爷 with the fireworks happening outside!

So Sweet....

Alamak, of all the times, my shoes snapped and I gotta drag my feet with it. XP explained to Little Arielle that my shoes is spoilt and therefore cannot walk too fast.

So when I finally managed to get myself up the car, she said,"Buy mummy slippers!" Aiyo, so sweet of her leh! Hee, din dote her for nothing!

Tu Tu Leh?

Alamak, cannot believe that it has been so many weeks since Little Arielle has weaned off her tu tu and yet she is still thinking of it. Out of the blue, she suddenly asked me to give her her tu tu. When I said no, she went to XP.

But whoever she went to, the answer is still NO hee hee! Luckily, she din kick a fuss out of it!
