She Amazes Me, Always :)

Remember I was just talking about how Little Arielle was obsessed with fixing up jigsaw puzzles yesterday and today, she gave me a pleasant surprise.

She performed her routine by going straight to the little red table the moment we stepped into the house.

This time round, she did it in 10 minutes without seeking any help from me or XP. I was so pleased with her fast improvement! Next target is to complete the other 2 puzzles which I got for her :)

Obsessed with Puzzles!

I'm glad that I have managed to cultivate interest in Little Arielle for jigsaw puzzles. To me, I see it as an avenue for her to build up patience as well as to sharpen her thinking skills.

For the past consecutive days, she never fails to walk automatically to her little red table (where her jigsaw puzzles are placed), sat down on her little red chair and start working on the pieces. This is very consoling as I felt that my teachings were not in vain :) In addition, I can have at least 30 minutes of peace while she is working on the puzzles.

What made me feel great was that she managed to piece up 39 pieces and I completed the last one for her.

I hope that she will be able to finish a full 40 piece puzzle by herself soon and of course, please let this interest stay with her and continue to develop further :)

Annoying Service!

It has been more than 1 month! To be exact, it's 1 month and 11 days since Little Arielle had her photo shoot taken at KidsCoverLooks and yes, I have not got her pic yet!

I finally found some time today, took up the phone and tried to contact them. I was immediately pissed off when I hear a dead tone on the line. Thought that the number on their invoice was not valid since they have shifted. As such, I went online, searched for their website and realised that the number reflected there is the same. So the conclusion is that, their phone number did not change!

Since I couldn't get them on the line, I had to send my queries via their online form. They better give me a reply asap!

So annoying....It's not as if it's some free stuff that I got! Paid almost $300 for it de lor!

十万个为什么

It's not the dvd that featured the little tortoise but it's Little Arielle that is driving me crazy with all her questions! Was quietly enjoying my moment with the tv programme when she wants to join me. She is like a machine gun and can keep on rattling on and on!

No problem about that but every action that the characters did in the programme, she never fails to ask me why like this and why like that. Arrgghhh I answer until bek qek!

The only consolation is that she is doing better with her jigsaw puzzle. That made me feel that she is somewhat sweet and cute :)

She's Brillant!

Called Little Arielle when I reached Singapore and was surprised when she said this to me:"你们出国啊?"

I was stunned! We did not tell her that we are going overseas and she knew it! Hmm....I thought that mama could have told her and when I asked her, she said that she did not say anything to her and thought that we were the ones to tell Little Arielle that we are going overseas! And mama told me that Little Arielle told my auntie that "We went to play" in teochew!

Humph....I wonder who is the one? Or she was so brillant that she guessed it?

Hmm why? Cos Mummy Me and XP will be away in Bintan, enjoying the sun, sand and sea....

And where's Little Arielle? Well, comfortably in the arms of my mama and papa hee....

Probably I will post some complaints/grumbles that mama will have for me during these few days :)

Little Arielle has started to request for someone to play with her. Oh no....that means Mummy Me is gonna be so busy....

I'm Mulan!

Little Arielle has been crazy over this cartoon - Mulan recently. She just doesn't seemed to get tired of watching it over and over again. She loved this cartoon so much that she requested mama to tie up her hair like what Mulan did in the cartoon. Aiyo buay tahan her....

Poor Motor Skills

Having a place of our own called home is indeed different from staying in someone else's house. Though our new house is small, I still managed to have space to play with Little Arielle. Decided to play jigsaw puzzle with her. Something that I have bought few months back but did not have the change to play with her.

Well, it really trains my patience as it ain't easy teaching her how to fix up the pieces together. To start off with, perhaps she does not have much talent in this aspect? That made me envy Mama Tong for having Kieran who is so good in his motor skills! And best of all, this can keep them busy for a few hours. Well, I supposed this is only in Kieran's case ba....

Little Arielle was already losing patience when I repeatedly asked her to get 1 piece of puzzle right in place. She was turning the piece round and round but just failed to get it fixed up. Apparently, my patience stopped there and XP took over. Thank god that there is a second person who can continue playing with her.

The only comforting conversation was that:

LA: Mummy, 我今天很开心!
Me: 为什么?
LA: 因为你没有骂我!
Me: *Faintz*, thereafter trying to find another reason to support her happy mood....
Me: 因为我陪你玩啊?
LA: 是啊!
Me: Yeah....

A Deep Cut

Little Arielle was so excited to see XP that she started dancing around. She did not hold her balance well and fell to the floor. She got a deep cut in her lips and bled.

Luckily, mama was fast to stop the bleeding. That must have been painful :(

Dinner @ Our Usual Spot

Had dinner with my parents and Little Arielle after picking them up at People's Park. Went to our usual food hunt in Bedok. Simply love their claypot dishes. It's cheap and the food is great! Decided to take a pic before our food arrives....

I was at home with Little Arielle after returning from mama's house. As I was watching tv, I seemed to sense something jumped into my balcony. When I turned to my left, I got a shock of my life as a pair of big, round green eyes were staring at me.

It's a BLACK CAT! I was scared stiff and quickly called for XP. Before he came out, Little Arielle started roaring at the cat and scared it off immediately.

Hahah, what a brave little "lion"!

Happy Birthday, My Darling!

This is the last activity to celebrate Little Arielle's birthday -> The birthday dinner!

Decided to have the dinner at Swensen Tampines cos Mummy Me did not have time to get a birthday for her. Have been busy with the shifting of our house over the past few days. In addition, getting a small cake is boring cos usually only big cakes have cartoon designs. Hopefully there is chance to hold a bigger celebration for her next year. Let's cross our fingers :)

Artistic XP

Hmm I always envy those people who has an artistic mind and can really do craftwork or artwork very well. One example is XP. Just felt that he can draw pretty well. At least in my context :) Or probably I'm not good in this area, so my expectation is lower? Whichever the case may be!

I know that Little Arielle can depend on him in future hee. Don't ask Mummy to do artwork or needlework for you hor. Please look for your daddy :)

Grow Vs Gain Kids

Damien was a month older than Little Arielle. As such, he is already drinking milk powder for kids older than 3. I din know that Abbott has 2 series for kids above 3. It was only told to me by Ah Hoon. She mentioned that there is Grow (vanila taste), represented by giraffe and Gain Kids, represented by bear. She said that Damien don't like to drink and gave me some for Little Arielle to try. The reason why he doesn't like it is because of its taste. So I asked Ah Hoon if the taste was really bad and she herself din like it.

I got the powder from her last Fri and only decided to try it today. Both milk powder was separately kept. Little Arielle was very excited and kept saying that she wanted to try "giraffe". For a moment I was thinking, well if she really likes it then good for me cos Grow only cost $30+ compared to Gain Kids which was priced at $50+. Arrgghhh....who knows, first suck and she already said she doesn't like it! Check out her angry look:

I was wondering why is her reaction so strong and so I took over her bottle and attempted to taste it. Felt that it was perfectly okie and the vanila smell wasn't that terrible. Well, she must be a 上等人!

Darn those Mosquitoes

I really hate these living creatures that always made me so stressed! Although they will always be attracted to my blood, I will not have reaction like what Little Arielle's skin will show:

It is really a painful experience when I saw her leg of bites and blister. Worst of all, the medication that can cure her needs to be prescribed by a doctor. I cannot buy it off the shelf from the pharmacy. And it's only a 5g tube which will be used up in no time. Sigh....I will have to start looking for gadgets which can help to KILL them!

人见人爱

My little one is really a prominient character in Tampines NTUC. Almost every other cashier, promoter and seller like her. She is either getting free gift or food when she goes NTUC with mama. Today, she got another gift from one of the promoter there.

This promoter is promoting fishball and she knows that Little Arielle does not like the fishball skin. She would have it peeled off for her before letting her eat.

Alamak, everyone is treating her like a princess lor. No wonder she is so sweet with her words and so spoilt!

Closed Down Liaoz :(

Since Little Arielle's birthday celebration is off, I decided to bring her to the Disney themed restaurant in Anchorvale and celebrate there amongst the family members.

Was happily telling Astin about it when she "poured a pail of cold water" over me and told me that the restaurant has already closed down long ago! I was so upset over this news. Now, anyone has any great ideas where else can I bring my girl for her celebration?
