All the Wrong Strokes!

Faintz....teaching Little Arielle how to write Chinese characters is a nightmare! She just write out the words in her own free way without following the proper strokes! Best of all, her daddy cannot teach her cos his strokes are in a mess too! Arrgghh vomit blood siaz!!

Another Letter to Mummy ;)

Haha....din know my girl likes to write to me :p. Have received a hand delivered letter by her and it showed a pic of our happy family! When asked where is Little Belynne, she would say that ta duo hai mei you sheng chu lai! Can't stand her!

Going Overseas

We were on our way home and suddenly in the car, Little Arielle mentioned something about going overseas. I couldn't remember exactly what was it but she said that she din want to go Japan. Well, we were quite stunned cos she liked Japanese food and of course Disneyland. We were more shocked when she finally revealed the reason for this dislike:

Japan 欺负 Singapore!

Wahhh....you mean a 5YO+ knows Singapore's history! I am truly amazed!!

Indeed Fast Reaction!

Was watching the 9pm drama with Little Arielle and there was this scene where a mother abandoned her girl at the shopping mall. Immediately, I told Little Arielle that if she misbehaves, I will do the same to her.

So as the scene carried on, the reporter was saying, it's a mother's responsibility to protect the child and this mother shouldn't have just left the child at the mall.

IMMEDIATELY, Little Arielle pointed to the TV and said,'see see'. Faintz....

So Difficult to Learn from Mistake?

Sometimes I really wonder if kids are listening? Little Arielle likes to ask me to do things for her as if I'm her maid. Worst of all, she approaches me at the wrong time when I was eating bird nest. Don't they know how to see the situation? Of course I was super irritated! XP was also annoyed with her behavior and needless to say, she got it from him and was lastly asked to go in the toilet.

She was weeping away and suddenly, I din hear any sound. I can't be bothered but suddenly, the silence turned into loud screams for me :(. I just got irritated and that triggered XP to give her another round of whacking! Haizzz....why they just can't be more obedient?

In the end, it's still me who rescued her....

Siding with XP

Had a chance to chat with my MIL this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised when she told me that when she spoke ill of XP, Little Arielle would try her best to side her Daddy :). Just like when she said that XP is bad, Little Arielle would say that he is getting better now :). Ohh....so sweet....what more do you ask from a child :)

It's A Blessing At Times....

I am the typical kind of girl who doesn't like to listen to all the kind of naggings, especially when it is coming from either my mom or MIL. I do admit that I resist the idea of Little Arielle going over to their place cos she always end up eating a lot of junk food :(

However, with Little Belynne inside me, I am grateful that they are just staying opposite me because I can really have a peaceful Sunday lazing around while Little Arielle played at their place. The kind of quietness and the freedom to do whatever I want really made my Sunday felt better. With the gloomy weather, I am even enjoying it cos the weather is cooling and I do not have to raise my voice and feel irritated or angry with the nitty gritty things that Littke Arielle likes to do to me!

Looking forward to more peaceful Sundays....

It Almost Made It!

The death of the first caterpillar came as a shock for Little Arielle. Both of us were more sad when the second one almost made it by turning into a cocoon but died halfway and broke into 2.

Have promised Little Arielle that I will get 2 more and hopefully, we can see a beautiful butterfly at the end of it!

Little Creepy Crawlies!

The first reaction when Little Arielle saw the caterpillars was a shock + ekkk and thereafter, hopping around with excitement. Stupid me forgot to film it down :(

Mummy Me had been playing with caterpillars when I was young and I remembered that mine turned into a butterfly eventually :). I hope that the caterpillars this time round will turn into butterflies successfully as I want Little Arielle to experience their life cycle!

Talent Development Course

After confirming with XP that we are not traveling during Sep school holidays, I went ahead to register Little Arielle for the talent course. After registering, I then found out that at the end of the course, she would have to come up with a short performance to determine if she qualifies to be part of the Mat Yo Yo crew.

Wahh....sweat leh! Means more stress for me lor! As usual! But if she can really make it, hee....she can appear on tv leh! How exciting!!

Clash of Dates Again :(

I remembered to ask LSBD today about her concert date and was xianz that I was right! It's the same date as her P1 orientation! Hopefully her performance is in the afternoon, else how ah? Cos her orientation is in the morning and best of all, i'm doing my confinement during that period and XP is attending his class! Arrgghh....

Continues to Behave!

Think Little Arielle is beginning to understand that making me irritated and angry has absolutely no benefits for her! Am glad that it's another night of happiness where I did not have to scream my head off!

She's happy and I'm happy too! She will still ask if she has behaved today :)

Lesser Irritation Today :)

Think Little Arielle has finally decided to be nicer to me and behaved herself :). So I told her that I will read her a story. But as I continued to do my work, I was so tried that I told her I would read the story some other time. She turned around and said that I lied to her. So, in order not to do so, I told her a story:

Once upon a time, there was a little bear. She refuses to go to bed until her mom kept asking her to do so. The end! She complained ghat it was too short and next moment, she asked:"ni zai jiang wo ah?". Opps she's so clever!!

This has really made it a pleasant night without me screaming away like a mad woman! Hopefully it's gonna stay this way everyday!

The Irritation Continues....

She got me irritated again when she din wait for me and got down the lift on her own. I was really fuming mad! Things were better when we reached home cos XP punished her by asking her to go to the toilet. For that, I had almost 1.5hours of peace :)

Nearing bedtime, she made me scream again by not sleeping and trying to be farnie :(

Arrgghh!! I'm glad I'm not staying at high floor now. Else I really dunnoe if I will throw her down or not!

Arielle is Wrong

I'm not sure ever since when, It's so easy for Little Arielle to get on my nerves. I'm mentally tired everyday and weekend is also not spared :(. It's so tiring physically and draining mentally! She does do irritating actions that I cannot take it and I do find myself screaming at the top of my voice.

When I see her in tears, I felt so bad but soon after, she's back to her annoying self again!

Again she made me made today and she drew a little card telling me that she's in the wrong. While I acknowledge her good way of expressing herself, she is not helping in any way if she continues to irritate me daily!

Arrghhh!!

Cutting Her Own Hair!

Was told by mama that Little Arielle actually cut her own hair cos she found a lock on the floor! Arrgghh the danger of having scissors around!

The Final Completed Work!

It was really not easy getting art done on canvas. This is both Mummy Me and Arielle's first time doing so and guessed what? Our first attempt and the completed work is going to be submitted as a competition piece :p

But I am really quite satisfied with the final output. It kinda of really looks nice! Hope that the judges this Sunday will think likewise too!

We WON!!! Yay!!!

The day only became more assuring for Mummy Me when I saw the organiser posting this on their FB page:

"Dear all, thank you for liking the Shinmin Fun Drive 2012 photo contest. The contest has come to an end and the voting has closed since yesterday 5pm. Thank you for your participation :)"

Finally, they mentioned somewhere that the voting has already ended because that No.2 has already surpassed us in terms of the number of votes!

When asked when and where would the results be published, the person just told me, either today or tomorrow. I din know why but I just felt that it would be too rush to publish the results today. Nonetheless, I still went ahead to purchase today's papers and was shocked, happy and surprised when I saw this:

Yay!!!! We won! My hard work and thick-skinness was paid off! This is the first time that we won such contest by having the highest number of votes! I was so happy and Little Arielle was surprised that she saw herself in the papers :p

Road trip 2012!

Embarking our first road trip for the year! First time that Little Arielle did not sleep in the car while we drive to the meeting point! Woo....she's excited too!

好爷爷！

My FIL would occasionally come over to clean our house. Little Arielle was so happy and surprised that the toilet bowl was so clean and she said this: 爷爷很好，从来没有看过这么好的爷爷！
