Sleepyhead!

Mama complained to me about Little Arielle. She said that she refused to go to school because she claimed that she did not sleep last night and wanted to sleep instead of attending school.

Too bad, mama is not gonna grant her her wish. Dragged her to school and she was crying away. In the end, no choice for her as Ms Tan got her into her class.

So I got questioned by mama asking if Little Arielle really missed her sleep last night. Arrghhh, apparently not lor! Shall make her sleep early tonight!

Guilty Me....

We borrowed books from the library near my neighbourhood and had previously promised Little Arielle that I would read to her.

Oh well, have always been busy busy busy and in the end, did not read the books to her at all. So, I promised her that I would bring her to the library today so that she can read and borrow new books.

Early in the morning, she was so excited, came to my room when she woke up and immediately wanted to go to the library. Managed to convince her to go in the afternoon but in the end, I still did not bring to her to the library. She was so disappointed....

I only managed to renew the same set of books and I promised her that I will bring her to the library next week. Arrghh, I better make good my promise man!

Disney Princess Model Search!

The search is now on! And Little Arielle is excited to be part of it! Saw this post on Facebook and I made the call today hoping that there are still slots left. Learnt from my last lesson to call early liaoz! I remembered I wanted to enroll her for the Christmas Kid Search and all the slots were already fully booked!

Luckily I managed to get a slot this round but gotta pay a surcharge of $28 cos I chose the shoot to be on a weekend. Arrghhh, bo pian lor. I din want to take leave to have the shoot so just pay the additional amount ba. Hopefully the shoot will turn out nice and there is available size for her costume!

Missing Lessons Again!

Mummy Me had a function this evening and was unable to bring Little Arielle for her art class. XP was hence tasked to do so.

When they came and picked me up after my function, XP told me that he did not bring her to class cos he went to run some errands! Arrghh wasted my $10 cos we have missed 2 lessons!

A Blessing in Disguise!

Our flight was supposed to be 8pm this evening and already, it was a rush for Mummy Me. Luckily, boss was kind enough to let me go off half an hour earlier. So I went off at 5.30pm, cheong to Uniquo at Tampines One to get my long john, picked Little Arielle up, rushed back home to finish the last bit of packing, took shower and ahhh....was on the cab at about 7pm. Xiong siaz....

We were lucky that the flight was delayed for 45minutes. While we were doing our check-in, we were even luckier because, due to this delayed flight, we were not in time to catch our connecting flight from HK to Japan.

As such, the airline upgraded us to A380, got a free dinner meal for all of us and best of all, we got a direct flight to Narita! Ahhh....seems like the good things are finally happening to us :)

Hopefully will get more good things and surprises in Japan! Let's enjoy our 5 days trip in Tokyo!!

Land of the rising sun....Here we come!!!

Worried!

Got news from mama that Tokyo snowed last night! I did hear news of Toyko snowing for the past few weeks but kinda choose to ignore cos it has never been on my mind that Toyko can snow (apparently, it did not snow when I went for honeymoon in Dec 2004).

Now it really seems like a reality that Tokyo did snow! I don't know if I should be happy or worried?

Happy cos my family can get to see snow and I think Little Arielle will be super excited about it! But worried cos not sure if we are adequately dressed for the weather....

XP already told me to get some long john before rushing to the airport this evening.

Damn! It's gonna be a RUSH again :(

Finally Done....

Am finally done with my luggage after struggling at it for 3hrs! Kept walking in and out picking up things that I see and hopefully remember to put it in. Most worried that I would forget something for Little Arielle!

The slowness of the packing was attributed to my sudden relapse of running nose + irritation from Little Arielle! No doubt she is super excited about the whole trip, she does gets on my nerve when she comes by and disturb me!

Worst of all, just when I was almost done, she came to me and said, Mummy, wo xi huan ni who left me most puzzled. I moved forward and hugged her and realised that she has wet the bed! And shit lor, it's on my bed! Arrghh super annoyed with her! Already not feeling well and tired from the packing and now I gotta kio her urine!

It just sucks :( Forget it, just got it done and over with and I want to go to bed, hoping that everything will go smoothly tomorrow!

Packing Sucks!

Sigh....packing for CNY sucks, so does packing for trip! Tried to do some packing last night and I feel so tired. But probably because we came back late and I was down with flu :(. But no escape tonight cos we would be flying off tomorrow night! The only happy thing is Little Arielle is super excited about it!

Arrgghhh....

A Boring Chu San....

The morning of Chu San started with XP going to the doc. Apparently, the few days of medication did not make him better :( Luckily Dr Sim is open today and we got mama's help to get a queue number for us first. That really made the wait so much shorter.

Dr Sim prescribed him with antibotics and told us that XP's case need it and normal panadol will not help. But he also mentioned that the antibotic would only take effect about 1.5 days later.

So after the doc, we went straight home and the rest of the day, XP was sleeping. He can really sleep for hours with short pockets of time eating some bread, drinking some water and taking his medication.

So for the whole day, I was like a nurse, feeding medication, taking temperature and at the same time, taking care of the mischievous gal.

Sigh....it was either the lappie or Little Arielle who accompanied me the whole day. So boring and the little one still made me angry by spilling soup on the floor. Arrgghhh!

Boring Chu Er

XP seems a little well today and he decided to fulfill Little Arielle's wish of going out to bai nian. Hmm I wonder if she really wants to bai nian or because she wants to wear her pom pom dress.

So we went to pick mama and HDD and went to Xiao Shu's house. Daddy could not join us as he was still not feeling well. Little Arielle was very happy at Xiao Shu's house and she ate a lot.

Wanted to visit another uncle of mine but he wasn't at home. Since XP has yet to fully recover, we decided to make our way home.

And for the rest of the evening, Little Arielle and I were just lazing around the house. Sigh....so boring....

CNY Reunion Dinner 2011

We usually have our reunion dinner early but this year, it's at 7.30pm cos my SIL was working. So Mummy Me's stomach was really 'grumbling'! Arrgghhh....

When we reached the restaurant at Park Royal Hotel, the Yu Sheng was already in place. Hee....means can start to eat soon! So after the lo-ing, we had the Yu Sheng and the Sharks Fin came very fast. This is Little Arielle's favourite and she really finished a bowl by herself. So happy to see her enjoying her food!

But after the Sharks Fin, the food came very late. It seems like an endless wait for the next dish to arrive! So in between, we went out to take some pic!

Next dish was roasted chicken and we made an exception to let Little Arielle eat it. She hasn't eaten chicken for the past 1 year....And we were surprised when she said that she wanted the drumstick :) All right....your wish is granted :) And she really finished the bone clean!

The dinner lasted for 2 hours+. The long time taken was not because we were slow but rather the serving of the dishes was slow. We continued with photo takings in the hotel after dinner. Thereafter, we made our way home.

It was already 11pm+ when we reached home. After settling Little Arielle, I quickly went to sleep cos I was starting to have flu :( What a way to end the night! Actually thought of either going to the temple or to enjoy the fireworks. Apparently, none of the plan was materialised....

Not the End?

Hmm....just when I thought it's the end of spring cleaning, it doesn't seem to be so! XP was doing the last minute washing of the 2 toilets while I folded the clothes, washed clothes, did some cleaning and packing here and there. Wanted to steal a short nap but no chance to do so cos by the time we completed, it was almost time for reunion dinner....

And while clearing up, XP chanced upon these 2 toys which Mummy Me bought years ago and did not open up. Hee....gave a chance for Little Arielle to have new toys for the new year! Hopefully, she would be able to learn her numbers and alphabets better :)

Morning 'Sickness'

Usually Little Arielle will drink milk early in the morning like 6am+. I have noticed that for the past few days, she refused to do so. It's the 3rd consecutive day today and she is still behaving in this way.

Had to coax and tolerate her whining before she wants to drink it. Hmm....what's wrong with her leh?
