To Jab Or Not To Jab?

Little Arielle was cranky this morning again as it was unfortunate that she woke up the moment the engine was off. Luckily, mama was fast enough to divert her attention by asking her to look at the other little children who are going to school. Like that also can hor hee hee!

Got a call from Little Arielle's PD ~ Dr Ho's mi-c (I meant her nurse hee hee) Called to remind me that her chicken pox's jab is overdue. Well, told her that I dun have the intention to let her take the jab cos hearsay that they will still have a chance to be infected even though they take the vaccination. Hmm if that is the case, then jab for what? I posted this question to the mi-c and she said that although there is a possibility that they might get the disease, at least the pox will not be that much and they will not be so "xin ku". That sets my mind thinking whether I wanna let her take the jab or not. Mi-c says no nid booster jab and it will last a lifetime. Cost would be $75. Hmm discuss with XP to see if we wanna let her take the jab!

Finally the day to collect Little Arielle's milk powder, the one much sought after ~ Gain IQ. The stock came in yesterday but the person in charge is not able to wait until I go over and collect. Since the initial arrangement is to collect today, I will stick to the original plan. Called the person in charge before I go over. This other colleague of hers called "Razal" (not sure of the spelling) picked up the call. Gotta speak to him in broken English. Alamak sounds like speaking to a maid whereby need to use simple English terms else they dun seems to know what I am talking about. He asked me to go to dun noe where and look for him. I suggested meeting him at the cashier counter. Before reaching the counter, I saw a Carrefour staff and asked her if "Razal" is around. She doesnt seems to know whom I am referring to and directed me to the customer service dept to check it out. Spoke to the officer and showed her my receipt. She used the walkie talkie to get the staff to bring over 2 tins of milk powder. I was waiting there for more than 5 minutes but no one appeared with my items. Was wondering why it takes so long just to bring 2 tins of milk powder? I was patient today and did not flare up hee hee. Continued to wait and finally 2 men showed up carrying 2 cartons of milk powder. Hmm dun tell me that is for me?? One of them came up and said, "Mdm, your 2 cartons of milk powder."*HUH* I got a shock! I said no lah, I only want to have 2 tins! The other men exclaimed, "I just knew it's only gonna be 2 tins!" I quickly explained myself that I showed the receipt to the staff. I din say 2 CARTONS! But of course I dun mind if you wanna give it to me for FREE hee hee. Cheh, of course no such good deal around!

Back to mama's house after the milk powder incident. Was watching TV programme and I just casually said "Wat biangz" and guessed what, that little one parrot after me. Hmm not believeing that she can do that, I saw "Oh no" and she also followed. Hee hee quite fun leh! Next few words she said was you yong (swimming) and elephant. Hope she can speak proper sentence fast enough to go to school!

Little Arielle Doesn't Want ME!

This is one of the days when Little Arielle doesnt want me to carry her. It was pretty upsetting when it's your own child doing it to you! It was time to go home and most of the time, I would be the one carrying her and XP would be carrying the things that we need to bring home. When I stretched out my hand to carry her from my youngest brother, Little Arielle simply hit me. Tried the second time and the same thing happened. Her body was moving towards XP and she wanted him to carry her instead. XP had no choice but to carry her from "jiu jiu".

When we got into the car, I had to carry her over from XP as he needs to drive. Little Arielle started to scream and shout and din wanna come over to my side. We had to coax her and on her cd until she finally quieten down. Music theraphy is effective.

Stick to Daddy like GLUE!

I realised that having help is relatively important especially where taking care of kids is concerned. Sometimes, you just need someone to relief you of some stress! My youngest brother, who is Little Arielle's "jiu jiu" offered his help to feed Little Arielle today. This is his first try and also he did not manage to finish feeding her the whole bowl of porridge, at least half of it was finished! Thumbs up for the effort!!

Little Arielle is getting stickier (not sure if such a word exist) with her Daddy! So much so she even wants him to carry her when he is driving. Felt pretty upset that she din want me and prefers her daddy....

Daddy's Girl!

There was no struggle this morning when mama carried Little Arielle up to her house. Well, not because she can accept the fact that we are going to work but rather because she is still sound asleep! Hopefully she would be sleeping for the next few mornings so that I won't feel so guilty for not bringing her along!

Work is tiring but it's always a happy moment to see Little Arielle running happily to the door when we reached my mama's place. It was more shiok to hear her call us hee hee. But as usual, daddy is her first priority. So she would definitely call daddy first. If she is in a good mood, she would call mi-mi (short form for mummy), well that's me.

Updates from Mama:

1. Said that Little Arielle suddenly woke up and was searching frantically for her daddy. She cried when she din see him beside her!

2. She has grown more teeth. 2 more big ones are coming out on the lower gum.

3. She will automatic know that it's time to pay a visit to NTUC because that has been her daily routine. But mama already went to NTUC today without her cos my youngest brother was looking after her while she sleeps. After she woke up, my mama brought her to the shower and she told her that she wants to "walk walk". But my mama said that she has already went to NTUC, no more "walk walk". Little Arielle became angry. Oh no would she have "hua ka"? It means flower leg in hokkien/teochew. Which basically means that they always wanna go out and walk walk, cannot sit still at home!

She can follow gong2's action to put her finger on her lips and said "Shhh" This little one can really make you angry and make you feel like laughing!

Good Deal - Grab It Quick!

Well, checked my email again and there is no news of the photo shoot. I guessed no hope about that! Hopefully, can find more companies offering free photo shoot for kids! Best if they can consider using it for commercial advertisements hee hee!

Called Carrefour today with the intention to reserve 2 tins of Gain IQ. Eversince the rise in pricing for Gain IQ, my eyes will light up if I see any discounts for it. So lucky that we chanced upon the advertisement in Today's newspaper. There will be a $5 discount if we spent more than $60 in a single receipt for the advertised items. Yipee, Gain IQ is one of them! Selling price is at $48. If I get 2 tins, it would be more than $60 and thus I would be eligible for the $5 discount which means per tin is about $46. It's about $5 discount from the usual price. Every dollar and cents count in this Singapore society man! We actually made a trip down to Carrefour on Saturday but the milk powder was out of stock! Wonder how they do business? Knowing that the discounted price is so attractive, they should have brought in more stock! Anyway, the staff says that it would be available this evening. As I might not be able to make it, I was trying my luck to see if they allow me to reserve the items. It was a flat NO answer given and the reason given is because it's a promotional item. Well fair enough, I just have to cancel or postpone whatever appointment I have so that I can be present at the store to buy it.

At 6pm sharp, I cheong to Carrefour. Searched high and low but did not manage to find the milk powder. Thought that they might have displayed the items elsewhere. Instead of wasting time searching aimlessly, I managed to grab hold of one of the staff and checked it out with the person. This staff said that the items were out of stock! Huh! Isn't it supposed to come this evening?? The staff replied that all tins were all sold out when the stock came in today. Was not happy with such a reply as the discount voucher is only valid up till 26 Feb. The new stock will only arrive on 29 Feb which means I would not be entitled to the discount! Told the staff that I don't mind to pay for the items first and collect it on Friday. Luckily, I'm not the only one with the same request. The staff directed me to this cashier queue whereby there are already 2 persons in front of me performing this transaction. The lady directly in front of me purchased 6 tins! The auntie who processed her order had to make a mistake and caused some delay. Alamak! I was fortunate that this man queueing behind me is not in front of me. He is a hard nut to crack. He has 3 coupons so it means that he has to purchase min 6 tins to qualify for all the discounts. But he simply couldn't understand why he needs to purchase so many tins. I can't be bothered to stay on and listen to him. Just paid for my items and quickly cheong to XP's car cos he was waiting for me outside (he din park his car). Poor staff, must have taken some time to explain to tis "gu do" man!

Reached my mama's house and went to open the letterbox. Was happy to receive the T-Shirts that I have bought for Little Arielle. Gave the items to her and she still knows how to say "xie xie" to me hee hee. How sweet!

Alamak understand from mama that she shits 4 times today. She din shit yesterday so does it mean that she would have to shit more today? Is that what a normal baby is doing too? Doesn't seems to sound right to have so much output almost everyday. She doesn't shit that much during the weekend when she is with us! It's a waste of diaper and would she grow up if she keeps having so much output? Her gong gong thinks otherwise! He felt that all the nutrients would have been absorbed by the body, only bad things gets disposed out of the body. Hmm which is which?? Anyway told mama not to give her banana daily as I have read somewhere that it is not good for the body. Hopefully I can see some improvements!

This naughty little one became very sticky to her daddy! When we were about to sleep, XP was meddling with the pc and I was lying next to Little Arielle on the bed. Knowing that her daddy is not sleeping beside her, she actually stood up and kept shouting "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy," ....non-stop until XP comes and sleep beside her. He kind of pet her to sleep and he tried to sneak off to the computer table, Little Arielle sensed that and suddenly stood up and called "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy" continously until XP has no choice but to come to her! Only when he is sleeping beside her, only then she can sleep at ease!

Active Arielle!

Finally have the chance to eat my fishball noodle that I have been craving for the past few weeks. The uncle at the coffeeshop says that Little Arielle seems to have grown so much bigger. They remembered us cos we have been patronizing them almost once a week. Sometimes, it's twice!

After breakfast, we went back home to do some laundry while XP fixes the PC as it seems to hv some virus infection. Luckily, he managed to get rid of it, else no access for the next few days! Managed to rock Little Arielle to sleep in the "yao lan". Has been a while since she last slept in it. Initially her eyes were wide open. Asked her to close her eyes and she could understand me and did accordingly

Brought her to my mama's place after she woke up. This naughty one demostrated her climbing skills again! Tried to climb up one of the armchair and she succeed. She seems to be mischievous as a little monkey! Next, she started on her "tissue-pulling" skills. Seems like all kids hate tissues! They just like to pull them out and throw them on the floor! What a waste! Gong gong gonna claim this bill from me! Opps!

Was watching "Child's Play 2", of course with Little Arielle not around. Alamak the doll is so frightening! She only saw the shots of it and was shouting "Wa Wa" (Doll in Mandarin) happily away! That reminds me that po po still owe her one "Wa Wa". Little Arielle was taught to say "mo gu" (Mushroom in Mandarin) by po po today. Wow seems like her Mandarin is so much better. I hope that she would be good with her English too as this is the main language that is emphasized in Spore!

Gonna have a meet up session with my "long time no see" friend, Sway Lee later at 5pm. That's the nickname that I have given to her. She is fortunate to be married to Australia and she just had a baby girl 6 months ago. Life in Australia must be relaxing and shiok, well, at least that's my perception! Can't wait to see her and her little one!

Finally meet up with this cute family of 3 at CompassPoint. Wow her baby is really big! She is weighing 11kg now when she is only 6 months. She is heavier than Little Arielle leh!! Her girl really looks like her husband hee hee. Just like Little Arielle looking like XP. Hmm old wives' tale says if baby girl looks like boy, then the next kid would be a boy. Hmm I wonder how true that is?? We had dinner together at Sakura and dessert at Delifrance! Although our chat was disruptive - either Little Arielle seeking attention or her baby kicking a fuss but we still managed to find out how each other is doing. Taught Little Arielle how to "sayang" her girl and she went stroking her feet and holding her toes. How cute! Supposed to be stroking her face but she was too far from the baby hee hee. The session lasted for about 2 hours and we parted. Have promised to have another meet-up session before she goes back to Australia in Apr. The next session should be incorporating more of our poly friends!

Once we got up the car and left the place, Little Arielle was fast asleep. This girl can really tahan! When the place is full of fun and laughter, no matter how tired she is, she will die die struggle to stay awake. Once she knows the surrounding is conducive for sleep ~ dark and quiet, she can rest her mind to sleep!

Thought that she would sleep until next morning but she din. Was home about 8pm+. Placed her on the bed and she woke up at about an hour later to disturb us! Went to pull the phone wire and angry XP took the cane and wanna whack her. Asked her to quickly say sorrie and she did. Hee hee so she is safe from the cane! Said sorrie liaoz and still know how to smile happily at XP. No wonder she is spared from caning!

This kpo continued to touch this and that, walk here n there. Grabbed her and tried to put her to sleep but she still wants to play with XP. Gave her her last feed of milk for the day and lights off!

My Big Bump

It was about 2+am in the morning when I suddenly heard a loud "bang", followed by Little Arielle's cries. I woke up and saw XP carrying her up from the floor. Realised that she has rolled off the bed while XP went to the toilet. Immediately a big bump shown up on her right side of her forehead. She was crying so badly that I din know what to do. Tried to rub her bump for her but she kept pushing my hand away. I guessed it must have been very painful. Tried to pet her to sleep but she kept whining away. It took us more than 1 hour before she finally felt asleep. At that time, it was already about 3+am. Little Arielle always like to give me such "surprises"! She has been falling off the bed numerous times since she was a baby. Hopefully, this is not gonna make her "ben". Always felt guilty when she fell off the bed!

Woke up a few hours later and went over to mama's house. She specially went to NTUC to buy "zambak" to apply on her bump. Hopefully it would heal in no time!

Good Caretaker is Important!

The same scene took place in the morning again. However, it was worst off as Little Arielle started to push mama away the moment she comes near to her. As usual, we just have to try means n ways to get her off the car. Hmm when would she understand?

Got news from one of my colleague ~ Tan Charlene that she is leaving the Board and today is her last day. She is relunctant to leave but there is no one to take care of her little baby boy = Childcare Problem. This is a common problem that working mothers face. It is not easy to get a good caretaker that gives 100% attention and care on the child. Hmm so I should be thankful to mama for giving me such support, else I won't be able to work and have more income to spend on my girl hee hee!

Brought Little Arielle home earlier than usual today as we din have dinner at my mama's house. She decided to do her "business" at night and she polluted the whole room. XP was back in time (as he went downstairs to wipe his precious car) to help her with the wash hee hee and she is ready for bed after that!

I Like More Friends!

Same as the past few days situation, Little Arielle cried the moment we drive off the car in the morning. We have already communicated to her while we are in the car that we are going off to work and we would be picking her up in the evening. She nodded her head and agreed with what we said. However, the moment mama comes near the door, she grabbed us tightly and did not want to let go. I would love to bring her along but in reality, I can't. Luckily, it only took her a while to go back to her normal self.

As a working mummy, what is sad is that you would not be able to grow up together with your child. What Little Arielle does, learn and said during the day is all told to me by my mom. I lack the opportunity to experience it myself. I guessed this is the kind of scarfice we have to make if we want to have an extra income.

Was told by my mama that Little Arielle enjoys playing with kids. She likes to go to one of my mama's neighbour's house whereby they have a girl who is about 4-5 years old. Once she is there, she doesn't want to come out. It happened again this evening. She was playing along the corridor when that little girl asks her to go and play in her house. Without second thoughts, she "chiong" straight to her house. Went to pick her after about 20minutes and she is still not willing to go home. Had to slowly coax her before she is willing to leave her house. Can see that she enjoys the company of other kids and is not stingy to share her things with them!

It is also very fun at this age of hers cos she understands what we are talking about. She was holding her milk bottle upside down and the water inside starts to drip. She can tell my mama that it's "shi shi". When mama asks her to go and take the cloth and wipe, she went to pull out a piece of tissue instead. She used that to wipe the floor and at the same time wipe the excess water off her bottle. So cute leh! She also know that her soiled diaper is smelly. When mama asks her to bring it to the kitchen to dispose it, she is clever enough to throw it into the dustbin. I would be laughing to myself if I were to see her in action!

Keep up the good work and hope that she picks up more skills in time to come!

What's Wrong?

Was woken up by Little Arielle's cries this morning. Usually this does not happen to her. Gave her her pacificer and she quieten down a while but it was not long before she started to cry again. Best part is, she doesn't want you to touch her?? The only guess is that she is hungry. When I asked her if she is hungry, she din want to reply. Normal days she would tell me that she wants "Milk, Milk" if she is hungry. Anyway, just gotta make a guess! So XP quickly went to make milk for her. Well, she did finish her milk and was still a bit cranky. But soon, she was okie once she got into the car.

However, upon reaching my mama's house, she din want to be carried by my mama. After a while, then she was willing to be carried by her. And what happened yesterday happened today again, she was crying when we started to wave goodbye to her. Don't tell me it's gonna be like this every morning??

Was happy to see Little Arielle when we are home! I wonder if it is the habit of all kids to stand very near to the TV? They are literally just in front of the TV screen. I would have to shout out to get her to move back. If she doesn't budge, I would have to go forward to grab her! I thought if they are already of this age (16 months+), they should be able to see pretty far?? Have to remind myself to keep doing this otherwise, it would cause her to be short-sighted soon!

This little rascal don't know learn from who but she was happy saying "Aiyah" today and mind you, her prounciation is so accurate that you cannot miss it! She is very fast in picking up all these so called "you geng mei you" hee hee.

This little one was very tired today. Fell asleep at 9.30pm while we were still in the car. Thought that she would wake up when I put her down on her bed. She did not wake up at all. She was just irritated while I was trying to change her diaper as well as her pyjamas. After that was done, she was sound asleep. Hee hee, I can rest earlier tonight!

Crying Morning

After so many days of break, it's working day today = sianz. So, as usual, carried Little Arielle up and she continued her sleep in the car. Soon, we reached my mama's house. She woke up just when the engine was off. Mama came down in a few moments to pick her up. She carried her over and I closed the car door. Then I heard mama knocking on the car window. I turned around and saw Little Arielle crying bitterly. She din want us to go without her. I quickly asked XP to wind down the window so that I can explain why she is being left behind. I held on to her little hand and told her that we need to go to work and we will see her at night. She stopped crying at that moment. However, after I wound up the window, she continued again. She started hitting my mama as she thought that she was the one who "broke up" the 3 of us. We had no choice but to drive off quickly. It was very heart wrenching to see her cry early in the morning. The thought of not working suddenly came into my mind. I know that it is not possible and I know that I will not be able to tolerate a non-working life and be a 24hours mummy. However, Little Arielle will understand as she grows up.

Soon it was time to go back and as usual, Little Arielle was very excited to see us. Mama taught her something new today ~ to tell people how old she is. Hee hee, when asked for her age, she can say "Yi Sui" in Mandarin which means 1 years old. Well of course she is older than that but little kids wont know in details.

From her behavior, we can observe that she seems to be one who only wants to win. She was playing with her "jiu jiu" and not sure for what reasons, she wanted to slap him. Of course her jiu jiu will siam and will not stay there to be slapped. She got angry when she did not managed to hit him. She was more than determined to slap him until such time she did not succeed, she turned to tears. Alamak, such a naughty one at this young age!

Soon it was time to go home. Fed her milk in the car and expected her to go to sleep shortly after we reached home. However, she seems to be very energetic. Usually between 10pm to 10.30pm, her movements would be slower as she is feeling sleepy. But for not tonight! Can see that she is still full of energy and wanna continue to play. In the end, she kena scolding from Daddy cos she went to disturb him when he was already fast asleep. Daddy was so irritated by her that he sat up and shouted at her. Results of disturbing a tired man! She immediately broke down into tears. Daddy asked her to stop crying and she can immediately stop crying. Wow, hers seems to be a tap leh, can on and off easily. After Daddy went back to sleep, she continued with her walking on the bed and finally decided to sleep at 11.30pm. Peace at last....

T3 Again? ~ Long Story Today, Take Time to Read

It wasn't in the plan today to go to T3 at all. The reason why we go shall be explained further....

Little Arielle was up at about 8+ and we quickly changed her and was ready to go out for breakfast. The initial plan was to have breakfast with Little Arielle around and thereafter send her to my mama's place first. Afterwhich, XP and I will proceed to install "auto-fold" for his car. Well, basically means we are going to install something into the car that will cause his side mirror to automatic fold up upon locking the door. So, it would make it easier for one to check if the doors are locked. The procedure would probably take about 1hour. As such, it would be easier if Little Arielle is not around to disturb.

However, after breakfast, there was a change of plan. XP was thinking it would be on the way to do up the installation before going to my mama's house. Therefore, we brought Little Arielle along. She was okie for the first few minutes. As time passes, she got impatient and wanted to come down and "walk walk". I was not for the idea to let her down as the place was messy with all the tools lying on the floor and the floor was dirty too. But she was kicking a fuss and we had to let her down. She was more than happy to come down but I was most unwilling. Let her roam around for a while and I decided to carry her. She started screaming and shouting and I really hope at that moment we can just leave the place. But we are not able to as the installation is not completed yet. Gotta continue to tahan with her screams and shouts. Finally it was completed after about 45 minutes to an hour. Just a simple connection of wires cost us $60. Good money siaz....

We headed to mama's house after the installation was completed. He was welcomed by 2 red eggs. My mama has made it specially for him cos it's his birthday mah! The arrangement is to have lunch with my mama (to celebrate XP's birthday) and dinner would be spent with the rest of the family members with daddy being the cook again hee hee!

Thought of going to Parkway for lunch and at the same time, we can take the chance to shop around. However, mama's suggestion made in the car changed the whole plan. She causually mentioned that my big auntie was wondering if the BMW is still parked at the T3. Wow, sounds confusing right? Dun noe head or tail right. No worries, let me elaborate further. Went to send my 2nd auntie off at T3 on 16th Feb. We were at the carpark, ready to hop on to the car and go off when suddenly XP took something from a BMW's car boot. Thought that he has found a coin pouch cos that size and outlook really looks like one. He suddenly said that we can drive off this BMW that was parked next to his car. On a second look, we realised that it was the key to this black BMW. The driver has forgotten to take the key with them. Oh my god! How can one be so careless where a car key is concerned. Anyway, we were kind enough to leave a note on the car's windscreen informing the owner that we have got their key and to ask them to contact us once they see the note. We did not manage to find any security counter to deposit the keys and therefore decided to take it upon us to keep the key for them first.

We did not hear from the owner since 16th Feb itself. Neither did they call on 17th Feb. Thus, big auntie was curious to know if that BWM was still parked at T3. Thus, this becomes the reason for us to pop over to check it out.

We made a few guesses in the car i.e. probably the owner has gone overseas, so did not call to get the key or perhaps they have a spare key and therefore they can't be bothered to get the key from us. Anyway, our doubts were answered when we reached the carpark as we saw that they car was still parked there. The note on the windscreen was moved so we guessed that there must be so "kpos" who went to see what is written there. We speculated that the owner might have gone overseas and left their car in T3 carpark. Hopefully we will receive their call soon. I wonder what is their reaction if they realised that they have lost their key??

Anyway enough of that BMW! While walking to the floor of restaurants, we passed by a shop selling flowers and teddy bears. Little Arielle's eyes were very sharp. She spotted the bears in the display. I shouted "OH NO" as I was afraid that she would pester us to buy and refuse to go. Hahaha this naughty one parrot after me and said "Oh No" too! So cute leh! And when she saw the aeroplane flying off, she can recognise and she would point and say "Aeroplane!"

We decided to have lunch at Dian Xiao Er. Quite a good chinese restaurant. My first try at this restaurant was also at T3. That happened last year in Nov07 when my parents and I took Little Arielle to T3's open house. The open house allows the public to take a tour in the restricted area. Not bad right, no need to fly can also see how the "inside" looks like. This is the second time I am eating at the same restaurant at the same outlet. The only difference is the persons eating with me as well as the place that we are sitting. The other difference is that Little Arielle is AWAKE. This is a BIG difference as it means that we will not be able to eat in peace. She was placed in a high chair and was given a meladime bowl and spoon. I was quite hesistant to let her have the cultery as she has broken 2 previously at Sakae Teppanyaki and a Japanese Restaurant in Vivo City. Anyway, we still let her play with it as she was busy eating her porridge and did not concentrate on the cultery. She was also given an orange by the waitress to play with so as to divert her attention. Well, children's patience is limited. She was getting impatient after she has finished her porridge. This forced my mom to quickly eat up her food and bring her out of the restaurant. Poor mama, she did not have the chance to enjoy the food! Anyway, mama tried to get Little Arielle out of the high chair but seems like she had some difficulties with it. Little Arielle got scared and kept crying! Think she is afraid that she is stuck there. I quickly went over to help her get out of the chair. She was still crying badly at that time. Mama quickly carried her out. In a moments' time, she was happily running around. That's kids! They forgot about the unhappy things in a spilt second. Adults sometimes should learn from kids hee hee, only to remember the happy moments!

We were ready to leave T3 after our meal as the parking fees over there is exorbitant. Luckily we got a complimentary 1st hour parking as we have spent more than $30 at the participating outlets in T3. That amounts to about $2.10. We still need to top up the difference of $1.86. Once we were in the car, the Zzzzz monster is attacking Little Arielle. I din want to let her sleep as I was afraid she would be wide awake by the time we reached home and that would mean no time for mama to do her house chores. However, mama saw that she was already very tired and was already dozing off, she asked me to let her sleep.

The next plan for the rest of the day is to "deposit" Little Arielle at my mama's place while we go back to my PIL's place and start to do up some laundry and cleaning up. Thereafter, we will proceed to mama's place for dinner. Helped mama to carry Little Arielle up and she was still sleeping soundly after I placed her on the mattress.

Went back home to do up my chores. Came out again at about 7pm. Went over to NTUC as Little Arielle's milk powder and diapers are depleting fast. Got a shock when my mom told me that her diapers are finishing in about 2-3 days when I have brought over about 20-25 pieces. Well, she commented that "your girl shits a few times in a day you know!" Okie, nothing to say if that is the case. Saw a good deal for huggies diapers (blue) that they are selling 2 packets for $30. Per pack is about pieces. Not sure if this is good but just wanna give it a try cos the red packet is pretty good. Next item in the list would be Little Arielle's milk powder. Her main source of nutrients comes from it. Thus, I would not hesistant to get the best for her. So how do I know which brand is the best. All thanks to my good friend - Stephanie. She said that whatever is the most expensive would be the BEST. Well, it may not be applicable to all kinds of products, but I am being affected by her to think along the same line. In any case, I only have 1 child at the moment. If I dun spend on her, then who do I spend on? Having said that, it doesn't mean that I welcome price increase. Why I said so is, I realised one of the more expensive brand ~ Gain IQ has increased it's price from $48 to $51. Wow! That is a big jump in pricing I must say! No wonder it is expensive to have more children in Singapore. The government is not helping us man! Both parents must work extra hard to provide reasonable living for our kids.... Anyway, after getting the necessary from NTUC, we went over to Breadtalk as I wanted to get a cake for XP's birthday. Hmm the underlying reason is because Little Arielle would be excited to see cake and candle. So mean of me hor hee hee. Well, now parents will do anything for their kids, agree??

Indeed, Little Arielle was very excited when it was time to sing "Happy Birthday" song to Daddy and when the candle is lit. She wanted to move forward and touch the cake but was pulled back by my mama. She become very angry and wanted to bite people. She also started to throw things to display her anger! Her gong gong says she would have a very bad temper when she grows up! Oh no, anyone got any tips to share to make her temper better??

This has been a day with a lot of events, mainly because it is XP's birthday. This is a good avenue for me to record down the daily activities that has happened and I do hope Little Arielle will find pleasure in reading it when she grows up. This blog has also made me take more photos than usual so that I can proudly upload and share it with my friends! And most important of all, I do not have to record the activities in my HP as I have this channel to deposit the events. Happy bloging....

When Will You Speak Proper Sentence?

Little Arielle had a good night sleep. Thus, she was up and awake at about 8.30am. Would have preferred her to sleep longer so that I can do my own things. But too bad, her eyes were already wide open!

Was busy doing something and this Little Arielle has to disturb me. In the end, she kena a few times of scolding and beating from me. This naughty one can really drive me crazy when she throws her tantrums!

Hee hee she learnt 3 more new words today - Nose, Lao Shu (Mouse in Mandarin) and Mouse. Well, when would you know how to speak proper sentences? Else Daddy will not allow you to go to school. You are his Xiao Bao Bei and he is afraid that if you don't know how to talk, you cannot tell us when you are being bullied in school! Hmm when would be the day??

What An Early Start!

Had reminded mama to wake us up at 5.30am today but she did not do so. As a result, we only woke up at about 5.45am. Why the need to wake up at this early time on a Saturaday morning. Well, it is to send one of my aunties as she is going back to Japan.

As usual, mama would start nagging, scolding and complaining that we are late cos we are supposed to reach the airport at 6am and she is very certain and confident that my aunties would be punctual. It did get me a bit irritated especially when I only had about 4hours of sleep the night before.

When we reached the airport, I was quite annoyed that the others are not there yet. In the end, we are still earlier by then even though we only reached the airport at about 6.15am.

Although it's that early in the morning, Little Arielle was already full of energy and really to "chiong" and play! I am okie with the idea of her running around the airport (T3) which is big and spacious. She had a good time there!

When it was about time to go, I wanted to carry her instead of letting her run around. However, she was not for the idea and started to use her "Tie Tou Gong" on me! What seh, must really siam when she is doing this as I kena once on my mouth and it really hurts! Naughty Arielle!

During the later part of the day when I was at my mama's house, she was taking out money and placed it on the table. Little Arielle took the note ($10 wor!) and asked my mama in Mandarin to give her (gei wo). Was so surprised that she said that. So my mom decided to give it to her!

We had breakfast at one of the kopitiam at Yishun because my parents wanna buy TOTO at one of the famous lucky betting station. Little Arielle was very naughty. She dig out the food that my papa gave it to her. It was egg. Seems like she doesn't like eggs as much as I do. But lucky thing she is not allergic to it! Got a shock when she had rashes when she first tasted eggs when she was only 9 months+ old. It was my papa's Lunar Birthday and mama made red eggs for him. Greedy Arielle wanna try and gong gong just gave a bit of egg yolk to her. Who knows she immediately had rashes all over her body! Felt so sad when I saw her in that state at that time and was very angry with my papa. They did not consult me before giving eggs to her. Eggs is one of the food items that would cause reaction in babies. I had wanted to only let her try eggs when she is 1 year old. That is when their body system is more ready to take in such food. PD advised me to let her try again before she is due for her 15 months jab as this jab consist of egg content. In addition, she gave me some calamine lotion to apply on her so that the itch will be less irritating.

Lucky for Little Arielle, I let her try eggs when she is about 14 months+. Thank God, she did not develop any reaction at that time and she managed to take the jab at 15 months.

Okie, back to what happened during the next part of the day. We were on our way back home, can sense that Little Arielle was pretty tired. But we decided to heed mama's advice to make her stay awake so that she can sleep at home. If she were to sleep in the car, she would be energetic the moment we reach home. It has happened a few times before so we already know her "pattern". Therefore we decided to make her stay awake. This is not really that easy as Little Arielle got frustrated when I did not allow her to lie on my body and sleep. I kept making her sit upright (so mean of me hor? but bo pian!). At times, I can see that she is dozing off while sitting upright. I would proceed to play and talk to her. Finally I have reached home and after a short while, I managed to pet her to sleep. This lasted for about 3-4 hours. I had a good rest too!

Oh No I'm Late!

Well, kinda of guessed that I would be late today but just din wanna believe my sixth sense and refused to turn on my alarm clock! In the end, true enough, I was late for work! Just when I had to be early at work today for a special briefing that starts at 7.30am! Was glad that mom called us at 7am else I think I would probably sleep till 8+!

As the briefing is important, XP decided to drop me off in office first and he would send Little Arielle to my mama's house. Sounds like a perfect plan but what is lacking is a child seat! Had got a child seat from a colleague but just din install it in XP's car. Now that we need to use, I start to panic!

Was thinking to skip my briefing altogether but that does not reflect well on me! XP suggested to put Little Arielle on his lap while he drives which I straightaway rejected him as it is too dangerous to do it in this way. However, I have no time to sit there and think of solution. Just carried Little Arielle, went there the car and brainstorm for ideas there and then.

Then I just thought of putting her in the front passenger seat and put on safety belt for her. Although this is not the safest method, but at least it sure beats her sitting on XP's lap. Placed her in the front passenger seat after she has finished her milk. At that time, I have yet to reach the office.

She sat there quietly and was excited when she saw birds flying around. She did not move around and was happily playing with her caterpillar. When I reached the office, I quietly got off the car so that I will not catch her attention.

While in the midst of the briefing, I was still worried about the long journey that XP is going through with Little Arielle as I know it is very irritating to have a crying baby beside you while you are driving. Worst still, if the crying baby starts to move around. But I did not dare to call or sms him as I do not know if he is still driving or has reached the office. What I can do is to only wait for the briefing to end and quickly check with him on this.

First thing after the briefing is to IST him and was very glad to hear from XP that Little Arielle was very well-behaved throughout the journey. This really caught me by surprise as she was very active when I carried her in my arms in the car. He mentioned that she was looking at the scenery and birds until Fort Road where she dozed off. Hee hee thought that she would remain awake since she woke up later than usual. That eases my mind to hear that everything in fine! Moral of the story, dun geh kiang, must listen to sixth sense as it can be accurate at times! This is an expensive lesson that caused XP $4.50 for his erp gantry charges!!

Oh yah, almost forgot to report this! Signed up for the free photo shoot with NTUC. They would pick to see if you are the chosen one. If so and if the photos are selected, they would use it for their advertisements and posters. Wonder if Little Arielle gets the chance to go for the photo shoot. Shall wait for the good news!

Anyway, din bring Little Arielle home today as we need to reach the airport tomorrow to send my auntie off. Therefore, she would be staying at mama's house for a night so that she does not need to get up so early tomorrow! But we still went over to take a look at her at my mama's house. Heard my mom telling me that Little Arielle was very happy and excited to play with one of the neighbour's daughter who is about 4-5 years old. She was reluctant to come home and wanted to continue staying at her house to play. Mama had to coax her before she is willing to come back. Hmm is it really time to have a second one to keep Little Arielle company? Wonder what is XP's thoughts on this?

Anyway, see you tomorrow Little Arielle!

Good Night, Sleep Tight!

Was late to pick Little Arielle up as we went for our V-Day dinner. It was nothing expensive but I guessed it's the thought that counts!

Was 8+ when I reached my mama's house and this naughty little one is still so energetic! Was counting something and she kept coming over to disturb me! Got a bit irritated by her!

Was pretty tired and din wanna count further and decided to head home. It was already 10+ by the time I got into the car. Naughty Arielle suddenly use her head to knock against my mouth! Wat seh! That was painful lor! Scolded her immediately and she started to cry! Alamak scold a bit cry liaoz! Trademark of girls man!

But it was not long that I found her pretty quiet. Hee hee only realised that she has fell asleep in my arms! Shows that she is really tired! Good that the day ends early for her so that I have a bit of time to do my own things! Good nite folks!

Jealous of XP

Hmm, don't understand why Little Arielle is closer to daddy when it was ME who took care of her most of the time when she was young. Or are they more realistic? ~ only close to those who always play with her? Little Arielle never fails to call "DADDY" when it's time to pick her up at mama's house! But when it comes to me, she just can't be bothered! So upset leh! Probably because I am the discipline master?? Hmm I really don't know leh!

Anyway, let's talk about the happy matters as it is Ren Ri (Human Day?) today. Hee hee direct translation! Bascially, it means it's everyone's birthday today. Usually the practise would be to eat "Yu Sheng" for today. So we bought home the Yu Sheng from Sakae Sushi!

It was happy and fun to eat together with the family. This is the first year that we had Yu Sheng with my parents and it seems to be the first time that daddy is eating Yu Sheng hee hee. Therefore, I videocam the whole process down! While daddy is saying those "ji xiang" words when pouring the ingredients in, Little Arielle also came in to kpo!

Hahaha best of all, she learnt how to say "HUAT ah" today! All thanks to mama, who just taught her in the afternoon when she went to Lo Hei with my aunties. So the whole night, she was "HUAT-ing" away hee hee!

Little Arielle also participated in the tossing event! She was so interested until she din wanna let go of the chopsticks after we stopped. When we tried to pull her away, she started to scream and shout! Gotta quickly find something to distract her attention!

That is when gong gong start to give ferro rocher chocolate to her! Oh no! Sinful food again!! Forgotten that there is peanuts inside! Heng ah, she is not allergy to it!

Back home, she seems to be so energetic until she din wanna sleep. Kept walking near the edge of the bed. She nearly fell off the bed again earlier on! Lucky thing I was standing very close to her and managed to grab her in time! Else she would have earned a "bao" on her head!

Getting naughtier as the days go by....

Missing Her!!

Today is the 1st working day for me after CNY. After a long break, it was pretty "bu se de" of me to leave Little Arielle with my mama. As I carried her in my arms, I wish I can hold her in this way forever!

But back to reality, I still have to let go and move forward with work. Singapore is a realistic country! Without money, nothing can be done. In order to give the best to Little Arielle, I just have to work hard for it!

Finally, the time comes to go home. As usual, Little Arielle would be very excited to receive us at the door! It is indeed a happy sight to see her! However tired we are, it simply vanishes upon seeing her!

After dinner at mama's house, it's time to leave. Little Arielle was pretty observant while she is in the car. Caught me by surprise when she suddenly points to the sky and said "Moon!" Thought that she is pulling my leg! When I check it out myself, oh mine, the moon is really there! Hmm so I guessed the belief of a baby born in the Year of the Dog is very alert is pretty accurate!

This naughty girl is always very mischevious today. She purposely go near the edge of the bed and I was so worried that she would slip and fall. Then she would stand there and start laughing loudly! Naughty little one!!

Alamak forgot to add in one important thing - that is, I have received the Levis jeans that I bought for Little Arielle! First thing is to quickly let her try on and hope that she can fit in because I bought a smaller size as the BP organiser mention that there is no bigger size for that particular design I like. Was crossing my fingers and hope that she can fit in! Heng ah! Fits her nicely! She looked so cute in the jeans! Did not regret buying it at all! Along with it, I also bought her a denim skirt and Melody legging. Can't wait to doll her up!!

Cranky Day

It was the last day of my long weekend. Supposed to be having pre-V-Day celebration with XP but there was some last minute re-arrangement. Thus, the day was spent with Little Arielle instead.

Since it is the last day, gotta do up a bit of laundry first before we can go out and have fun. Half way through, I suddenly hear Little Arielle crying bitterly and quickly rushed out to see what has happened! Saw that she was being shut outside of our room and her 2 palms were all red! Found out that she went to touch the pail of dirty water and was spanked by XP. Quickly brought her to wash her hands and she was still sobbing in my arms. Hear liaoz heartpain siaz!

Immediately asked XP where did he spank her and he said that it's on her 2 palms and her face! Wat seh! I did not bear to hit her face and he did! Then he quickly said that it was very light and true enough, I did not see any 5 fingers marking on her face. Told him off immediately that he should never hit her on her face!

Can see that XP was also pretty mad at her as this is not the first time that she got scolding and spanking because of this. One thing about children is that they cannot remember the reason that they are being spanked!

All the teachings learnt from Jodie Froster seems to be erased from my mind. They all emphasize on "Ai De Jiao Yu" which doesn't seems to work in a typical Asian country?? Or is it because Little Arielle is too young to understand that and at this stage, beating is more effective? Well I do hope that I can put Jodie Froster's teachings into good use in time to come! Too much beating also make my hand pain hee hee and of course heart pain too!

The Wait Is Over!

Presenting the beautiful pics of my girl - Little Arielle

1st Day of CNY in her traditional Chinese Qi Bao! 1 word to describe - SWEE!!

Taken on the same day at Lao Gong Gong's house! This pic can see her pretty LUV bug shoes!

4D Results

Hee hee interesting subject right??

Well little Arielle's first attempt of giving numbers does not seems to work! Gave 1245 to gong gong and in the end, came out 1845!!

Gong gong was very "tui" and said aiyah why you let gong gong lose money??

Try harder the next time, little Arielle!!

1st Time @ East Coast Park

Well, the day did not end after little Arielle's nap! She slept for about 2 hours+. Not too bad, at least can get to do my chores during this time. Just that did not manage to catch any sleep!

Was washing her clothes halfway when she suddenly appeared behind me! Gave me a shock siaz!

XP and I brought her to East Coast Park! First time that we are bringing her there! She was excited and initially did not want us to hold her hands. One thing about her is sometimes she does listen to what we say. We will tell her that she can only come down and walk walk if she allows us to hold her hands, if not, no deal! Hmm she was obedient this time round, so she gets to come down and walk.

We climbed up the rock waterfront and took photos there! She loved the view and was not afraid of the narrow paveway. When we wanna go off, she refuses to come down! Hard to "lian hong dai pian" before she agrees to come down.

*See how cool I looked with Daddy's sunglasses!*

Next she was fascinated by the number of dogs in the park. Was not afraid to go really close to them. No wonder they say children are very brave. As they grow older, the "dan" seems to shrink leh!

Last stop today is at my mama's house. Was just trying my luck to see if little Arielle can remember the way to my mama's house from the life lobby. She really amazed me again! Other than knowing how to walk to my mama's unit, she is also able to know which are the neighbour's units whom have played with her! Another new discovery today! Amazing Arielle!

Sentosa Flowers 2008

Nowadays, being a mummy aint an easy job. Why? cos have to remember what has happened during the day so as to record in the blog!

Here goes:

It has been a long time since I woke up early. Long as in since first day of CNY until today! Handphone alarm went off at 7am sharp. I knew that I would just turn it off and continue with my sleep. But, in my mind, I know that I have to wake up because we have a DATE in the morning!

Little Arielle was still sound asleep. Thus, I did not have the intention to bring her into the shower. XP just tried to change her diaper and she became cranky! She must be thinking why must disturb me in my sleep?? But no choice! The date is fixed!

Got everything ready and first stop was Whampoa Market for breakfast! Guess who is our date today?? It's Vince and family! He is XP's colleague with a son, Ethan who is 2.5 years old! Blur me, forgot to bring out XP's handphone. Hmm can see the fire in his eyes but guessed he spared me today as it is still CNY hee hee. Heng ah!! Well, without handphone, we have do things the stone-age way - that is to keep walking around to see if Vince and family is here. Was pretty stressed during this period as Vince and family is already half an hour late. We are supposed to meet at 8am but there is still no sight of them. Wonder if there is some last minute arrangement? Finally, from far, I saw them! Rested my mind hee hee!

Quickly brought along little Arielle to see little Ethan gor gor! Couldn't believe little Arielle's learning capabilities! She could mimic what I said in a few moments' time. Just taught her how to call Ethan and tada - She DID it! This is simply amazing! Not sure if other kids are her age are this fast too??

Hmm, so where exactly is our ultimate destination today? Well, as the subject suggests, it's gonna be at Sentosa! We are going to "shang hua" at Sentosa on this Sunday morning. Haha how "lomantic" hor!

Just before this "lomantic" event commences, something bad has to happen. While reversing backwards in the middle of the road, he hit a something and I only heard "Bang!" Oh no, wonder what has happend?? Ouch! That was a painful one! I would have been very sim tia as our car is only 1.5 months old! So I tried to keep little Arielle quiet so that it does not irritate him further!

After we managed to park the car, he quickly went down to take a look. It was a slight dent in the rear bumper and lucky thing it was not something really major. But that is already very heart pain for him! I knew it!

Anyway, glad that he did not bring his unhappy feelings along with him to the flowers. Wow the flowers were really pretty and nicely decorated. Organisers must have taken great pains to do so! The whole place smells great with the flowers. Little Arielle kept wanting to come down and walk by herself but I was afraid that she would stumper and fall cos she always gives me the impression that she is not stable in walking! In any case, I still let her down and walk a bit. Can see that she is very excited and happy!

*Oh I'm so excited!! So many interesting thing around!* - uploaded on 13 Feb 2008

The weather was pretty kind to us. It was not very sourcing but we still feel the heat and sweat like mad! I was pretty happy too as I managed to take a lot of pictures today hee hee. Seems like most of it, I managed to capture little Arielle's great shots! Next thing, you would ask - then where are the photos? Patient lah, good things are worth the wait!

We took the monorail for 1 station and took the tram for a short ride. This time round, the sun is beginning to shine fiercely. Cannot take it anymore siaz! Time to make our way out of Sentosa and head to Vivo City for lunch!

*Hmm this cow reminds me of my Mi-mi, who was my supplier of milk hee hee* - uploaded on 13 Feb 08

Went to this Japanese restaurant called Shin Kushiya which I think it meant Japanese Charcoal Grill. Not bad a place! XP feels that the food portion is pretty large but I think I am still hungry after eating. Little Arielle was still wide awake during this time so it was not really a peaceful meal afterall! The waitress gave her a plastic bowl and a metal teaspoon and she was happily playing with it until suddenly, she slipped and the bowl fell to the floor. Oh shit! Part of the bowl was chipped! This is the second time she broke a bowl in restaurants. The first one was at Sakae Teppanyaki! I quietly placed the bowl on another table and continued with our lunch hee hee. Then that naughty little one starting to parrot what others are saying. So in total, she has learnt 4 words today - Ethan, drink, hei hei (black in Mandarin) and grapes. Not bad siaz, she is building her vocab leh!

*Sitting patiently in her high chair in the restaurant? Cheh, only for 5 seconds!* - Uploaded on 14 Feb 2008

Wonder how come I can type in peace? Well that is because that naughty little one is fast asleep. Went to meet Zhou Gong for chess session immediately when the car starts to move. Has been sleeping for about an hour. Hope can sleep longer so that I get to do my things. Shall pen off for now....

CNY Happenings!!

This is the result of not blogging daily! Now have to do backdating....

Anyway, 6th Feb was New Year's Eve - aka Chu Xi. This night is a busy night as we need to start putting monies into ang pow and get ready for Chu Yi. Thought that little Arielle would be asleep by then and no one would disturb us in this "challenging mission". Alamak who knows, this little one is very very active! No matter how I tried to put her to sleep, she would wanna come down and walk around and be a kpo housekeeper!

Until suddenly, there was total silent and there, on one side of our bed, I found her sound asleep by herself! That was about 1.30am in the morning!

What an energetic BABY!!

07th Feb 2008

The first day of CNY! Was surprised that it was little Arielle who woke me up! Slept late into the night and was able to wake up about 7+ in the morning. Lucky thing XP was able to pet her back to sleep after her feed. Else I would have to start entertaining her from 7+.

She woke up about 2 hours later and it was in fact time for us to wake up to get ready for visitation. I was very happy to doll her up with all the nice CNY clothes from I have bought through BPs. Thanks to my good friend Wendy Tong who introduced me to this forum - SMH hee hee. She would be very happy if she is reading little Arielle's blog!

Today's dressing is in Chinese Qi Bao! And it's a red one to symbolise luck in this first day of the year. Heard from Wendy Tong that it's good to wear GREEN on the first day of CNY but Arielle's mummy hate GREEN and anyway by the time I know about it, it's too late to get one! Nevermind, let's not be so superstituous. RED is good too!

Hmm....my little girl does look GREAT in Qi Bao. Mummy doesn't have the figure to wear so all the nice clothings would be wore by my girl! She shall represent me hee hee!

After dressing her up, first destination is to her po po's house! Was trying to do some last minute homework by teaching her Gong Xi Gong Xi. Aiyah she just refused to learn. She does have her temper sometimes! Anyway from her po po's house, we started to go visitation together. Went to a total of 4 families, of which lao gong gong's house is the last stop! Again, little Arielle demostrated her tahanability by only sleeping about 45 minutes in the car. That time was about 4+ and counting backwards, she actually went without sleep for the past 6 hours! Steady siaz! Kids will always be kids, play will always come first! It's okie to go without sleep!

At lao gong gong's house, little Arielle was carried by Xiao Yi, the one who always wanted to have a girl but God just feel that boys are more suitable for her hee hee! So she would always grab the chance to play and carry little Arielle when she is around!

After steamboat dinner at lao gong gong's house, we sent my parents home and shortly after went back. It must have been tiring for her that little Arielle was knocked out a few minutes while on the way back home! Sleep early is a good way to end off the day, especially a hectic one!

8th Feb 2008

Day 2 of CNY was spent at Xiao Shu's house. As we did not manage to go to their place during Day 1. Today's dressing for little Arielle is pants suit! Traditional short sleeved top and long pants. Equally cute and adorable! And it's in my favourite colour - PINK!

6th Feb 2008

*Oh look at me in Daddy's sunglasses again! I am a modern baby! Dun play play!* - Uploaded on 13 Feb 2008

Just when we were about to leave Xiao Shu's house, little Arielle has a gift for them - a bucket of SHIT! Alamak, shitting in someone else's house is the most troublesome thing that could have happened! Well, only Shen Shen was happy as she views SHIT as GOLD! Hmmm like this also can right!

Anyway, after the clean-up, we had lunch at this miserable Kou Fu foodcourt. With only 2 stalls in operation. Ended up, we had to order KFC for lunch as we did not manage to eat much at the foodcourt!

Daddy has an appointment for mahjong at his friends' house! Took the chance to ask him and mummy to bring little Arielle along hee hee - so that she can go and collect ang pow! Oh no lah, I'm not so greedy! So that me and XP can rest a while....

There is one condition - we have to pick mummy up when she is done! Oh this is definitely not a problem! While driving them back home, little Arielle suddenly said 4 numbers in Mandarin - 1, 2, 4 and 5. Mummy was so excited that she immediately said that she is going to buy 4D!

Day 2 ended with a dinner at Bedok hawker center and it's again another boring one as there are a lot of stalls selling the same food! What to do, that's what happens during CNY! Give the hawkers a break man!

Oh yah before I end Day 2, must add in that little Arielle finally knows how to say ORANGE! She used to say APPLE for whatever round fruits that she sees hee hee!

9th Feb 2008

How fast time flies! Today is Day 3 of CNY. First stop is to settle our stomach first before going to my mama's house. Today's dressing is Korean Style for little Arielle! Again it's in PINK! Oh my! She looked so sweet. Hmm more and more resembling me leh....Cannot believe it hee hee. So touching to see your own child resembling yourself! Should go and dig out my childhood photos and post it here for comparison!

Saw one last strawberry in the fridge and decided to let little Arielle hold herself and eat it. This naughty little one really "shi huo". Found the strawberry sweet after her first bite and immediately continue munching it. One thing good about her is that she was willing to share when I asked her to let her gong gong and her daddy have a bite! At the end of the strawberry eating session, her whole dress was stained! Poor me gotta have a hard time washing the stains!

*See what have I got in my hand!* - Uploaded on 14 Feb 2008

*Huh still gotta listen to "lecture" first before I can eat??* - Uploaded on 14 Feb 2008

*I'm biting my strawberry already! Dun disturb me!* - Uploaded on 14 Feb 2008

*Yummy! The strawberry is GREAT!* - Uploaded on 14 Feb 2008

*Wow I have a big "car" leh! Do I look pretty in my Korean dress and LUV Bug shoes?* - Uploaded on 14 Feb 2008

Didn't really go visitation today. Went to Giant to stock up some groceries! Wow, first time I saw the carpark so packed siaz. Little Arielle was tired today. It was only 12+ in the afternoon and she is already sound asleep! Hmm also good for us cos we can enjoy some peace while having our lunch! Her timing was good! She only woke up when we are able to leave the place. After we reached mama's house, little Arielle grabbed the oranges and went Gong Xi Gong Xi with the oranges hee hee. Hmm think mummy's teachings is more effective!

Just had dinner - steamboat again! Had a peaceful one as little Arielle was fast asleep. She did not have a good sleep for the past new days until she hand panda eyes and believe me, it was very deep dark patches that she had underneathe her eyes! My God! Wonder when it would go away??

My 1st Post

This blog is created specially for my gal - Little Arielle who is exactly 16 months today!

I am her mummy - Cynthia and I would continue to record her bits and pieces of her growing stage in this blog until she is old enough to do it on her own!

I was pretty regretful that I did not do so from the day that she was born. Nevertheless, I will try to backdate what has happened for the past 16 months and record it down so that she can get to read it when she grows up....

Would be posting her 16months picture later on tonight after I have taken!
