Brand New Car?

Finally, we can get back our car after 3 weeks of long wait. Really missed our car badly and was so excited to see it once again :)

From the outlook of it, the technician did a good job to bring back the glow. Not sure what they did but the interior had the smell of a brand new car. For a moment, it just felt like the day when we first got possession of the car. Hmm that was 24th Dec 2007.

Now, the next pending issue is the settlement of the claim. Hopefully we can win the case and move on....

The first question that Little Arielle asked when we opened the gate was,"Daddy, are you okie?" Aiyo....this question just melts XP's heart. Although the day before, she was laughing at XP's misfortune, she totally changed today and was so sweet to XP.

Where is Little Arielle?

Mama was looking for Little Arielle and couldn't find her in the house. We were guessing that she must be with WX. Shortly after, we received a call from Little Arielle and was asked to go to the balcony.

人见人爱

Little Arielle's PR skills were really good. So much so that everyone in NTUC Tampines just likes her! She was so sweet with her words and made an effort to remember those aunties/uncles that she saw.

No wonder she is always stuffed with chocolates and candies. This evening, when mama visited NTUC to buy 4D, the auntie there passed her a Pooh bear soft toy for Little Arielle. She was remembered even though she was not physically there with mama :)

Good Acting Skills....

Little Arielle really made me feel that it is a waste not to send her for acting classes cos her acting skills were really good. The following is the enactment of her fall yesterday morning. I missed taking the second shot which was just before this. When I told her to re-enact the third time, apparently the quality wasn't as good. She was not so detailed liaoz :( Mama told me that her first scene was really dramatic. Arrgghhh, stop rubbing into it! Anyway, this is better than nothing :)

Basically, she was getting ready for bath when she fell from the vanity top. Hurt her head and spine and thank god that she is okie. Really thank god for watching over her cos her blur parents always cannot make it. Remember the last round she was almost drowned? Yah, my doing....

Multi-Tasking Skills

I very much believe that this set of skills must have been inherited from Mummy ME!

I was indeed amazed with Little Arielle today. I was chatting with her and half way through the conversation, she actually heard mama saying that she is going out and upon hearing that, she immediately went walking behind her.

Well, the conclusion is, either she is not listening to me or she has multi-tasking skills like ME! Hmm, I chose to believe the latter option :)

Expensive Service Recovery....

or perhaps to them, it's not x at all?

Few months back, we bought our bedframe and sofa set from Lorenzo. Both sets were specially customised to our liking and as a result, we have to pay extra 20% for this customisation. Finally, after waited for about 1month+, the furniture arrived.

We were disappointed cos the customisation wasn't properly done despite specific instructions given. Visuals were also given to ensure that everyone is clear about the design. Apparently, something went wrong somewhere.

We were told that they need another 1 more month to get that resolved. We wasn't really happy that we had to wait further. In the end, in order to pacify us, they decided to give us a set of bedsheet. We will be happier if they are going to give us a price discount instead of a bedsheet set which I have a few new ones sitting at home waiting for me. Nonetheless, it's better than nothing.

We were told to pick up the free bedsheet set some time ago but it kept slipping off XP's mind. At last, he remembered to do so today. The first thing that caught Little Arielle's eyes was the colourful balloons. Immediately, the salesgirl took one for her. Next, we were told which are the sets that we can choose, I was shocked to see the expensive price tag. Most of the sets were at least $200+. It will be sold at this price if you purchase their beds from them. Else, retail price is about $500+. For a moment, I thought to myself, are the sets really worth that price or they jacked it up so as to maintain a certain standard. In any case, who cares since I got myself a free set. Chose a sweet pink set which I quite like it a lot. I supposed we will use this as the first set for my new bed :)

Almost Diaper Free Day!

Finally Little Arielle has the chance to wear the training pants which I have bought for her many months ago. Apparently it has been sitting in the warerobe as she was relunctant to tell us when she wants to pee. Well, I don't have the time and energy to force her into it and I just let nature took its own course.

Hmm, eventually, what will happen will happen :) Today, I managed to let her go without diaper during the time when she was awake. She was able to inform me way in advance when she wants to pee. Next challenge will be to train her during her nap time to wake up and pee.

Blessed Are Our Kids....

Chanced upon this BP which took the initiative to raise funds for this little gal called Charmaine. Hmm, for a moment, felt that I was pretty ignorant about what is going on in the society cos I din know the story of Charmaine. Even XP knew about about Charmaine.

For those who is as ignorant as me, this little girl actually has cancer and is already in the 4th stage. Chances of survival is 50%~50%. Her mother would like to seek treatment in US but they required 350K USD as upfront deposit. As such, they are frantically trying to raise funds so that Charmaine is able to seek treatment overseas.

Most of the major forum pages are helping her to raise funds. I also wants to do my part for her cos as a mother, I understand how it feels when our kids are sick and especially upset when she is struck by such a disease at this tender age.

We are really fortunate that our kids are healthy. Really must thank god for it :)

Let the Pumping Begins....

Is Sorry A Sacred Word?

I was watching tv when the corner of my eye caught Little Arielle performing a rude act! She just snatched the book from my granny while my granny was reading it. I immediately told her to apologise for what she has done and she simply refused to do so.

XP was alerted and sensing that he was coming towards Little Arielle, she quickly took her steps but was still too slow for him. XP grabbed her and insisted her to apologise. She was given warning that if she is not going to do so, she would be beaten.

Apparently, that did not stopped her from being stubborn. She just refused to give in and started crying as if the whole world has done her wrong! Faintz!

In the end, I tried to talk nicely to her to get her to apologise and I had to repeat myself a few times before she apologised in her tears. When I tried to explain where she has gone wrong, she ignored me and ran to her gong gong! Arrrgghhh....And guessed what? She told her gong gong that XP beat her when that did not happened at all.

Best of all, she said she don't have a book to read. Well, trying to explain that it was right for her to snatch as she doesn't have a book.

Cannot believe how unreasonable kids nowadays can be! Think our parenthood days ahead aint gonna be easy! Sigh....

Peeing into the Toilet Bowl!

Little Arielle's diaper was so full that it overflew. XP told her that he would change for her but apparently, his eyes were still stuck to his pc. As such, Little Arielle was not changed. Din know that she had so much urine until she pee-ed on the floor. So I wiped once and still did not change her. Bad mummy hor hee. Within a few minutes, she pee-ed on the floor again!! Arrgghhh why cannot pee all at the same time??

So I proceed to clean up her pee again. Finally, the 3rd time, she decided to tell me that she wants to pee in advance. So I got her to hold her pee for a few seconds and placed her on the toilet bowl.

Wow wow, this is the first time that I personally experienced this. She successfully pee-ed into the toilet bowl. For the past few times, even though she told me she wanted to pee, nothing came out when she was being placed on the toilet bowl!

Is this the start of her toilet training? Got a bit of chance leh hee!

She & Her Reasons!

Little Arielle made a mess and refused to keep her "toys" (actually it's my mama's tupperware). What she was made to keep again by my mama, she said that her gong gong is not walking in that direction. Which means, it's okie for the items to be lying around cos her gong gong will not walk there and therefore will not kick the items!

Wat biangz, what a lame reason! In any case, she finally decided to keep and while doing so, she kept staring and blinking eyes at me to express her unhappiness!

Reading Time!

WX was home early this evening. He was reading the papers on the mattress when Little Arielle came and laid next to him. WX then decided to read aloud and asked Little Arielle to repeat after him. Hmm, not bad leh! My brother can be a teacher. At least Little Arielle wants to listen to him :)

A Little Swell

First thing that mama told me when I entered her house was that Little Arielle fell today while trying to chase after my granny. Aiyo, really got the characteristics of a boy. Likes to play with ball and chase people around.

But then hor, come to think of it, she is also like a girl cos recently, she fell in love with Barbie dolls. Hmm I don't remember playing that at such a young age! Well, at least that is something to keep her still for a while :)

Striptease?

Woke up in the morning and was shocked to see Little Arielle only the buff with only her diaper on. Was scratching my head and was wondering what has happened?

Went to check with XP if he had contributed anything to it and he said that he was innocent. He said that he saw Little Arielle taking off her pyjamas which we gathered that it was due to the hot weather.

Usually, we would off the air-con after a few hours and switch on the fan instead. I guessed the fan was not powerful enough for her and she felt more shiok sleeping without her clothes.

Buay tahan her! Since young, she has been afraid of the heat. Jiat lard liaoz. Next time, when shift over to our new house, sure gonna spend a lot on electricity!

Housewarming Session....

Was at home the whole day just waiting for a housewarming session to commence at 5pm. The long awaited housewarming session is finally here. Well, it's not our house but rather it's Ah Hoon's house :) How ironic! She was one of the few who got the keys and renovated much later than me but in the end, she has already moved in and I am still stuck somewhere....

Anyway, back to her house. Really love her place! Big, airy and cosy! Wow, what more can you ask in life? Well, don't think I will have the chance in this life to stay in a landed. Can only live to envy others.

Little Arielle and the kids were enjoying themselves in this big compound. Really seems to be a mini childcare centre.
