Arrgghh, Fell Off the Bed?

It's been a while since I last heard that Little Arielle falls off the bed. Hmm, this is because she has been a good girl and had been sleeping alone on her mattress next to XP.

But at times, I will still wake up with her next to me. *Scratch head* Oh, that's because she would still climb up towards the break of dawn and XP would exchange his position with her i.e. she sleeps on the bed and he would sleep on her mattress. Wow, what a sacrifice!

Well, his sacrifice got him a shock this mornng as Little Arielle fell off the bed and landed on him. Not bad! She got a human cushion.

No wonder I heard some cries this morning hee!

Very Concerned Gal

XP and I were discussing about our expensive property tax. He spoke louder than usual and Little Arielle quickly came over and asked him:

LA: Daddy, 你们在吵架啊?
XP: 我们在讨论东西
LA: Ooooo....

Buay tahan leh....such a kpo little girl hee :) Well, but very observant though!

Another 顶嘴 Session!

Here's what mama told me:

The story goes....

Daddy was on MC today and Little Arielle wanted to listen to the Hokkien song which is played from his hp. Just when he was about to play, a call came in and he was on the phone. Impatient gal was making hell lot of noise cos she insisted her 公公 to play the song immediately. When 公公 did not manage to do accordingly to her wish, she was angry and cried in a corner. 公公 decided to ignore her as he felt that she was being ridiculous.

Thereafter, mama gotta do her routine visit to NTUC and asked Little Arielle to stay at home to take care of her 公公.

Guessed what's her reply?

LA: 不要!
Mama: 公公没有人照顾, 很可怜
LA: 你自己照顾他 lah, 他是你老公!

Later in the night, when we got home, XP was surfing net on his pc, he suddenly had the mood to sing. Once words came out from his mouth, Little Arielle did the same above action but this time round, it's on my ears :)

Hee, so I did the same and covered her ears from XP's singing.

Next, XP went to the washroom and both of our hands were away from each other's ears. Suddenly, out of the blue, Little Arielle covered my ears again for no apparent reason.

Here's what she said:

LA: 有人要唱了!
Me: *Scratch head* 是谁?
LA: Daddy lor!

Hmm, for a moment, I was wondering why she passed such a remark. I immediately broke into laughter when I heard XP singing on his way out of the washroom.

Great job, Little Arielle! You can really anticipate your daddy's actions! I was stunned hee! All 3 of us laughed heartedly!

Like That Also Can?

I was busy packing my things and needed more help than anything. Little Arielle was making my progress slower by disturbing me with her itchy hands.

However, I still acceded to her request when she wants me to take a picture of her "doing".

Though it's just simply placing her bear bear in front of 2 books, I still find it special and interesting cos it's done by my girl :)

It felt like yesterday when I was just talking over the phone with Doris on the birth of Giselle and today, I am attending her baby shower!

I really envy her as she is blessed with 2 lovely kids :)

iPhone Kid

iPhone is the current dream phone that has been on my mind for a long time. However, I just couldn't bear to give up my existing phone. Since the existing phone is still functioning, I decided to KIV the purchase. Hmm, so coincidental that WX has bought the Gen2 iPhone and whenever he is home early, I will help myself to the games in the phone.

And best of all, she enjoys snatching it from me and enjoying it by herself. However, today, she was kind to me. She laid down beside me and taught me how to play the games. And can you believe it, she was so much better than me! One of the games was to toss the waste paper into the basket and I could not believe my eyes when she managed to get a few pieces in. WX's China friend came over and stayed over at mama's house. Whenever he has friends coming over to stay, they never fail to buy things for Little Arielle.

So upset when I came to mama's house today. Little Arielle happily greeted her daddy. I purposely hid behind the door, hoping that she would come looking for me.

Arrgghhh, apparently, she did not! After she saw her daddy, she went back to watch her Tarzan vcd. LL, I had to walk inside myself and when I called her, she just acknowledged me and continued with her show.

With the lure of bread (bought from Holland V), she then came over to me. Cheh, I don't wanna let her eat!

But, I know later I will still let her eat....

New Set of Pyjamas

Mummy Me has been very conversative about spending recently. Probably there's nothing that really interests me!

Anyway, the main thing about this post is that I wanted to mention about the Gap pyjamas which I have bought from Mama Tong. Really fell in love with their pyjamas! Material is good and designs are nice.

Best of all, buy online saves you the trip of being crushed by aunties in shopping malls, more nice designs available and of course, not forgetting, the cheap price that we can get!

I Regretted!

Some weeks back, my company had a contest where they wanted us to submit our family photo and they will pick the best 10 as winners. This contest came about as we did not have family day this year due to H1N1 flu virus.

I had wanted to submit the pic for the contest long ago. However, due to my heavy workload, I did not managed to do so until the deadline. Was unable to locate the softcopy of my studio photo. As such, I went to submit another one which I myself, already felt that the chances of winning are low. But I still went on to submit it. Well, results was out yesterday and as expected, I did not win.

Was upset yesterday about this but managed to get over it quickly. Alamak , who knows, early in the morning, Feli came over and told me, aiyah you should have submitted your studio pic! Sure win leh!

Those winners' pic, all cannot make it! Arrgghhh....stop rubbing into it!

Patience for Our Parents!

My thoughts after viewing:

Felt bad as I was guilty of such actions at times! This really serves as a reminder that we should be patient and kind to our parents at all times. Who knows, our kids will do that to us too. It would then be their turn to watch this clip :)

公公 Knows Best!

Was told by mama that Little Arielle was very greedy and insisted to watch her tv programme and vcd at the same time. This was possible as my mama's house has 2 tv, placed side by side. Mama told her off by saying that she would not be able to concentrate if she were to on both programmes at the same time. This naughty girl replied her with an answer that most of us could not guessed.

Only one person read her mind......

That person is none other than her 公公!

So when mama asked daddy, he guessed it right! Hmm say so much and I haven't reveal the answer hor. Here's her reply:

我用一只眼睛看这边, 一只眼睛看那边

Another Late Night!

Yah....it's late night working! Not shopping or playing hor! Apparently the Tue's project implementation wasn't successful. As such, we gotta try again this evening.

Thought that we could probably go back earlier this time round i.e. 10pm+ since we have done ample checks for the past few days after the unsuccessful checkout. Apparently, we were still on it at that time. Mood was slowly fading away as it was such a spoilt sport to be working that late on a Fri evening :(

But oh well, we were happy when the project was finally successfully completed at 11.30pm. Hmm, at least it was well-paid off compared to Tue. And of course, this time round, we were clever enough to have dinner first. Else, it's gonna be 2 hungry souls complaining throughout the nite!

XP was on auto gear this evening, sms me at 11pm+ to tell me that he is already waiting for me. He was lucky that he did not have to wait long. Heard Little Arielle's screams for me immediately when she spotted me. She was so excited to see me and that made me feel so touched!

Well, all the tiredness just vanished and I held her tightly in my arms. Family is afterall most important :)

No Day No Night!

Mummy Me has a project that needs to roll out tonight. As such, I wasn't able to go back on time with XP. He waited for me until 8pm+ and I realised that I am still stuck in office. In the end, decided to get him to go off first. Asked him to pick up Little Arielle and I will make my way home on my own later.


Managed to call her at about 10pm+ and apparently, I am still not able to go.

Guessed what! Only managed to leave at about 11.50pm because the project was unsuccessful and it was called off. We were all hungry, tired and upset :(

Worst of all, had to take cab home alone as XP was already fast asleep. Luckily he managed to wake up and open the door for me. Else I will be sleeping outside the house. Apparently, he said that his eyes were painful from the knock that day and dozed off while waiting for me. As for Little Arielle, she was already in dreamland long ago....Hmm din have a chance to hear her voice in person. So sad....

I'm 32nd Months Old!

Yup, my little girl is already 32 months old. Gone were the days when she was just a few days old. Getting naughtier as the days go by but quite fun I must say....

We din go out today except for breakfast. XP came back and slept for the whole afternoon. Guessed he must have been really tired out from yesterday's drive. So when he finally wokr up, we have already missed lunch. He ordered KFC and we were happily enjoying our food when they delivered. This is one of the greatest service available - Home Delivery :)

Thereafter, it rained heavily. Just a good time to sleep but got blogs to write and got work to do. How to sleep? Can only enjoy the nice cooling weather while working.

Happy 32nd month old! Let's look forward to the next month :)

The Second Try

It was yet another successful attempt when we managed to get Little Arielle to sleep on her own. Hmm, was it because she was so tired that she can't be bothered about it or she is really okie to sleep alone?

We shall wait and see....

BKT + MSW Trip

Hmm....must be wondering what does BKT and MSW stands for? It's Ba Kut Teh & Mao Shan Wang durian!!

Yes...this is the objective of our trip to Malaysia today! Woke up at 4am+, got everything ready and went to pick up my mama in Tampines. This is one of the very first time that we were so early. Reached the meet-up point ~ Woodlands Stadium at 6am when the official meet up time is 6.30am.

Slowly the other 9 cars started to arrive. Lucky for today, there wasn't much jam at the checkpoint.

1st stop ~ Qiang Kee Ba Kut Teh
Had a wonderful breakfast here and the place was really packed. Luckily we were early :)

2nd stop ~ Segamat Durian
This is our 2nd time to this durian plantation. Had some hiccups here when Little Arielle's pee overflowed her diaper. As a result, her car seat was wet and she couldn't sit inside. So I asked mama to let Little Arielle sit next to her so that her car seat can be dried under the sunlight. Next moment, Little Arielle said that she wants her milk. So I made her milk and suddenly, while drinking half-way, she vomitted all her food out! Oh my god! This is the first time she vomitted in the car! Luckily mama was around. And the destruction was still manageable. Quickly gave her wipes to clean up while I changed for Little Arielle. The reason for her puke was because XP was driving along those winding road. This did not happen before cos she was always in her car seat and so the centre of gravity was managed. So to prevent another occurence, we had no choice but to put her in her car seat. Used her blanket as the base and she slept on it. Luckily, the blanket was able to absorb her pee.

After her puke, I myself feel like puking too. Luckily, it did not took long for the feeling to go away. And finally, we reached the plantation after almost 3 hours of drive. And for the first time, lunch was filled with just durians and ice-cream. The owner was very generous with his durians and we ate a lot for free. Of course, we bought a lot back as well. Everyone was satisfied and I can see everyone smiling away. Soon, all those that could be eaten were eaten and packed.

We left the place at about 4pm+ and Todak, here we come! Todak is a popular seafood restaurant for the Cravers! Almost every other road trip, we will end up having dinner here. Their food was fresh and delicious! Simply yummy!

That was a great day spent! Having the company of Cravers and good food! Probably they are arranging the next trip again! Yippeee!!

Another Try

It was many months since Little Arielle slept on her own. The very last time, I remembered she would sleep on her own mattress every weekend. However, there was one time that she refused to do so. As such, we stopped forcing her and that continued for some time. It was until recently when XP decided to remove one of the small cupboards in the room that we had more moving space.

This little space was just nice for Little Arielle's mattress. Best of all, it is near the aircon, since she is always afraid of the heat. It took her a while before she was convinced to sleep on her own. Will continue with more tries so that she can get used to sleeping alone :)

Family Time is Important....

My ex-partner came to my partition and we were suddenly chatting on the topic of kids. She suddenly strike me with this sentence which I remembered very clearly: Kids were only young once. Again I felt guilty about not spending enough time with Little Arielle. Sometimes, I was so mean that I asked her to get lost. Arrgghhh what a bad mummy I was....

Loves to Pee?

Eversince Little Arielle was free from diapers (well, at least during the day), she is very onz when it comes to pee-ing. She seems to enjoy sitting on the toilet bowl and loves to flush! Sometimes, she would just tell you that she wants to pee but it was a hoax! Gotta waste my time bringing her to and fro. XP now clever liaoz! He would say this is my responsibility to bring her to the loo cos she is a girl! Faintz!

Peeing Into the Drain

Hee....this is the first time that I had to bring Little Arielle and let her pee in the drain. Quite pai seh leh! But bo pian wor....no toilet around and she needs to pee! Luckily it was dark and I was hiding behind XP's car hee.

Mind you, this girl's pee can really shoot far siaz. No wonder she always pee out of the toilet bowl and made me clean up her mess!
