Carnival!

Little Arielle's school is organising a carnival and it's on this Sunday :P

We just got our tickets today and for one, I am looking forward to the fun this Sunday....

So Sweet....

It's so sweet to know when someone covers you with blanket when you are sleeping. And that someone is my little girl :P

Pink Flamingos!

Sigh....is this some kind of a joke? Just when I was upset about not being able to get a unit in Flamingo Valley, we had to draw flamingos today!

Arrgghhh! XP was busy watching tv and came later than usual. As such, Mummy Me did the outline for her pic instead of XP.

After the class, we had Xing Hua food for dinner. I supposed we came too late and they din have anymore rice. In the end, had to order bee hoon instead! Still prefer white rice though!

Ridiculous Deadline!

Got some 'homework' to do for Little Arielle. Here's what I need to do ->

*Items required* - Uploaded on 27 Mar 2011 So when I asked Little Arielle when do we need to submit the pictures and she actually told me tomorrow!! Wahhh....the school thinks that I have ready pictures at all is it! Even though can get from the internet, they cannot assume all families will have printers de lor! Well, at least for us, we don't have lor! So angry! Hmm....must feedback to the school liaoz! And yah, Little Arielle also wanna have a say in the pic that I chose. Her kpo-ness is making me irritated too!

Arrgghhh....

Toilet Trained :)

At long last, Little Arielle is finally toilet trained! I think this has happened few weeks back but I was 'officially' informed by XP today that she would wake him up in the middle of the night asking him to on the toilet lights for her. Keep up the good work!!

Disney Princess Makeover

It's gonna be another one man show because XP is on his full day course today. I din go out really early today because I kinda know the bus route since we are taking the same bus as yesterday. I remembered about the OCBC sticker and brought it out for Little Arielle to play. Reached City Hall at about 1pm and we went to take a look at how the shoot was going to be done

Mummy Me is just not feeling the best and thanks to XP, who was able to entertain Little Arielle during this period....

Tough Life Nowadays!

Got the folder from mama on Fri and was told that I need to go through some 生字 with Little Arielle over the weekend. I took a quick glance and was shocked! The words seem to be so difficult for a K1 student!

So I went through with her this evening and she could only recognise a few. Taught her those that she does not know and hope that she would remember it. Well, she did remember when we revised with her but not sure if she would still remember it after a night's sleep. Sigh....kids' lives are so tough nowadays! Kinda pity them though....

Disney Princess Shoot @ KidsCoverLooks

Little Arielle had her photoshoot done today for the Disney Princess Model Search. Mummy Me was very kan cheong for no apparent reason! Faintz....

Went to hunt for her black pins and in the end, she did not use it for her hair! Alamak! Did a simple hairdo and the person there redo for me. Well, the new effect wasn't any better....And I couldn't take a pic of her cos they don't allow photography in the studio. So, please wait for my updates on the pic in about 2-3 weeks' time :P

Paid a total of $121 cos there was a nominal fee of $48 and 3 soft copies pic (1st 2 @ $58 and 3rd pic @ $15). Hee....seems like they either waive or forgot to charge me the additional weekend surcharge of $28.

Sigh....if Little Arielle was able to smile naturally and not showing a fakey smile, I would have bought more pics. And of course, I don't think she stand a chance for the search. Nevermind lah, at least got a Snow White costume back but well, the size is a bit big for her. Hee....better than nothing!

Though the shoot results wasn't that satisfying, what made us happy was that we were able to go Orchard for a while to do window shopping! It seems like years ago that we last stepped into Orchard. And it happened cos the Far East Shopping Centre had per entry parking charge on a Sunday! So we were able to walk to our hearts' content! Visited Ion, Taka & Wisma....that's good enough :)

Looking forward to another round 2 weeks later :P

Atas Gal!

Eversince Little Arielle tried those bottled bird nest and she knew where it was kept, she would haunt me every weekend morning asking for one! And when she finished one bottle, she wanted to have another one!

That's what Arielle said to XP when he asked her to keep quiet! I wonder if she would be so alert in her studies!

2nd Refresher Class

Little Arielle was not very willing to attend the class and she kept complaining about her teacher, Cherry. I guessed she just doesn't really like her but I do not know the reason for that!

Anyway, she was still asked to attend the class! Luckily, she did not show any resistance! While she is attending her class, I listened to the briefing conducted by Paul. This is the second time that I am hearing the same thing.

He mentioned about the showcase of models show done by Impact Models and said that they might be doing it this year since it did not happen last year. They can only take in 60 models and each model would have to pay at least $1k to $2k. My jaws almost dropped when I heard it last year. But since, this was the second time, it did not come as a surprise to me. Hmm should I let Little Arielle participate? That would be about $2k gone from my pocket leh! Sigh....actually I'm okie but I think XP would be the one who would object. I shall see how to persuade him when the time comes hee!

Next, he mentioned about a fashion show that might take place towards Q3. He would choose 77 models to showcase. Wahh, I hope that Little Arielle would be one of his choice. Let's cross our fingers and hope that she would do well in the catwalk show next week.

Then, I also expressed interest in the Little Fashion Party that would be taking place on 22 Jun. A one day programme will cost $180. Hmm, hopefully all these investments on her will have positive results :P

Hmm....just like Little Arielle!

After missing lessons for 2 weeks, this is the first lesson that Little Arielle is attending for the new sememster. I decided to stay with her instead of the past 2 ocassions where I disappeared and left her in the care of her teacher.

In addition, I decided to help her out here and there, instead of leaving her in the lurch. That would probably make her less helpless and it would help her in doing a better drawing....I hope :)

I must say I'm quite satisfied with her works tonight :P

Our Drawings....

Got back Little Arielle's folder from her school and as I was flipping through it, I saw her drawing for both XP and me.

Ahhh....just got an indescribable feeling of happiness when I saw it. Can see that her drawing has really improved a lot! At least, it definitely looked like humans. Best of all, I can really tell the gender between the two :)

Little Arielle was observant enough to draw XP in his favourite bermudas and mi wearing a big smile.

Bottle Buddy - Indeed a Good Buddy!

Mummy Me ordered this item some time ago and finally, it came in the mail on Monday but I only have time to show it to Little Arielle this evening. She was so excited about it and immediately wanted to try it on.

I'm happy that she loves it cos she will carry her own bottle in future when we go out and she can also use it during her outing. Best of all, the strap is customised with her name :P Yippee!

Wounded Again :(

Little Arielle was tearing away and complaining of pain when we picked her up from mama's house. Only knew that she had some injuries but did not know how bad it was cos it was dim in the car and I could not see properly.

It was only when I reached home that I realised that the cut was so bad!! Best of all, Little Arielle would still ask me to take a pic. XP said that she already knew my pattern hee :P Got to know from her that she did not keep her things properly and went for her afternoon nap. When she woke up, she brushed against a ruler and here's the result ->

by Little Arielle! I still cannot swallow it but felt that she's a bit right hahahha!

Little Arielle was telling me last night about some dinosaurs and that it must not be bigger than her finger, so on and so forth.

Don't know what the hell she is talking about and decided to ignore her!

This morning, she woke up and asked me in the car:

LA: Mummy, where is my dinosaur?
Me: What dinosaur?
LA: 跟你讲了很多次, 为什么你没有听??
Me: 我都不懂你在讲什么?
LA: 我跟你讲最后一次!!
Me: Loss of words and have to listen to her attentively!

Faintz....what is the world coming to??
