Easily Contented!

I have been feeling guilty towards Little Arielle ever since the birth of her little sister. Frankly speaking, I can sense that she is trying her best to be the big sister. She will help out wherever possible and actually, she is a great help at times! But sometimes, she just does the wrong thing at the wrong time and that really agitate me! And its always the nitty gritty things that drives me crazy! That would make me scream my head off! And yah, it happened today :( She was very sad and put a cross on her name and a tick against 贝贝's name trying to say that no one likes her and everyone loves 贝贝. But when I just showed a little concern I.e. Pouring a cup of water for her, she actually treasured this small act and felt that it's a big thing of her life. I guessed my darling just wants a little attention from us and I'm so bad not to even give in to this small request. I seriously need a spanking on my butt!

Semi Short Hair

Cut a bit shorter hair. Looks quite cute though!

Haizz....when Little Arielle is nice, she's sweet like an angel. When she tries to be difficult, I really feel like struggling her! Nwhy can't she stays lovable all the time?

The Irritation Continues....

Haizzz don't understand why kids have endless energy! Little Arielle can rattle on the moment she opens her eyes (7+ -8+) and is still active until 11+. This cycle happens daily! I wonder when will I drop dead?

Very Sensible Questions!

Little Arielle hurt her back when she knocked herself against the cabinet. Actually I was dumbfounded when we questioned me why I was not concern about her and din ask if she was ok. I think I am seriously neglecting this little fellow's feelings. Please wait a few days more for me to get back my sanity so that I can think rationally!

Out of the House

Just couldn't stand the tone of voice Little Arielle is using, her attitude and her everything! I just drove her out of the house! Don't care anymore! Apologized after she's back but I just din wanna speak to her!

The Last Draw!

I was very pissed with Little Arielle today! Somehow her Littke stupid actions just irritate me! So much so that I was all ready to drive her out of the house! She begged and pleaded to ask me to give her another chance! Finally in agreed and she better treasue this last chance!

Slightly Better!

Little Arielle was more well-behaved today. Hope that things will improve along the way....

Seeking Attention!

I got a shock this morning when I saw Little Arielle trying to cut her hair with a pair of scissors! It's apparent that she wants my attention! But yet, she annoys me with the slightest thing i.e. Not listening to my instructions and love to throw tantrums and be rude to my mother! This evening, she ignored me despite calling her several times to get a piece if tissue for me. In the end, XP was so mad with her that he decided to delete her games in his iPhone. Hmm at least this caused an impact to her! Little Arielle, can you be good so that you are more lovable!

A Blessing @ Times!

Hmm....sometimes inreally feel lucky that my PIL are just next door. At least during my confinement period! Cos when Littke Arielle goes over, I can really feel relaxed and dont have to watch her every move and get angry with her! Perhaps should ask her to go over more often! Opps! :p

Her Truthful Words!

Through an argument with Little Arielle, she suddenly said that,'No one care about me, you all care about 贝贝!'. Oh....suddenly I can feel her broken heart! Sounds really pitiful! Tried to talk nicely to her and she was ok thereafter. Haizzz if she din annoy me with her 小动作, 我疼她都来不及!

Cane!!

Haizz....can't believe that I need to have the cane with me the whole day before Little Arielle will listen to me. She is getting more and more out of hand. Is it because of 贝贝 or it's part of her growing stage? Just can't stand her being rude to mama and also talking back at me. Arrgghh! I seriously don't know how to handle her for the next few weeks before my ML ends. She better let me enjoy the rest of the weeks before I go back to work!

The Start of School Holidays

It's the start of the 1.5 months of holiday. I am already screaming my head off on thus day :(. This rascal likes to question backnand speaks like a gangster. Arrgghh cannot take it! Really wonder how to survive this period with 贝贝 alone. 1 person to handle both! I think I will die very soon!

Hard to Handle :(

While LA is onz to help for Bei Bei thing, she just made me dislike her for those actions that she did for herself I.e not listening to instructions! I reallyndunnoe hw long I can tolerate her nonsense!!

A Great Helper!

I'm glad that Little Arielle really loves 贝贝! She would always want to carry her and surprisingly, she was able to pat her to sleep in her arms today! That's really very helpful of her! An extra pair of hands is always preferred especially when Mummy Me is down with fever and can't carry or go near 贝贝!

忍无可忍

Little Arielle started her nonsense behavior ever since the birth of 贝贝. We know that there is mild jealousy and we have been trying to give in to her. But she is just going overboard with her nonsense! Every little thing she would throw tantrum and these repeated actions just made us annoyed! Finally, XP couldn't take it anymore and she got it lor! Was beaten badly by him lor! Haizzz 何苦呢!

I Hate to Teach!

I think if I have chosen teaching as my career, I would have died long ago! I super hate to teach and I get very pissed off easily when it comes to teaching Little Arielle. So tonight is all spent on Little Arielle, trying to teach her how to get the strokes of the Chinese character right, when I actually have plans to complete my office work :( Really vomitted blood doing so! She either do her strokes in the wrong way, when she has already learnt those words before or she doesn't know how to write! Arrghhh....hate this new job of mine!!

Ok Bye Bye!!

As usual, Little Arielle can call me anytime during the day after her class. This afternoon, she called again and started rattling on....Apparently, I don't know WTH she is saying :( Got so annoyed and told her that I will give her her spelling and Chinese Ting Xie and she immediately said goodbye to me! Oh good....now I know what is the best way to make her hang up!

Or Ba Kar!

Aiyoyo....the rubs done to Littke Arielle's eye really made her look like Jia Jia! Hengz it's still a few weeks to her LSBD's concert. Else she would be the ugly performer!

Disappoint or Not To?

I was surprised when Littke Arielle can still remember that I told her we will do a scrapbook frame for Ms Tan. She can even say that we can bring it along during the farewell party. Haizz....mi already super tired and mood less at this stage. Should I fulfill my promise?

Ear Pulling Time!

Was revising Little Arielle's 听写 with her and realized that she got some of the words' 笔画 wrong! Was so mad until I kept pulling her right ear until she said ouch! Wahh I can really lose patience teaching her!!

反应真快！

Just reached home and was telling XP that our auto gate is spoilt again even though there's no thunder, cos I saw it wide open. Little Arielle was very mean and rude! She said,"你没有用头脑ah!" trying to imply that the gate was opened cos a car just went out! When I stared hard at her, she said,"Oh 没有啦，Mummy 没有看到！". Win already lor!!

Super Spoilt Brat!

I'm really upset that my girl is like that :(. When it comes to mealtime, she is either looking forward to fast food or eating at restaurant! What is this!! She always complain that hawker centre is too hot for her! Jiat lard lor! How to correct her mindset?

It's Getting Tougher :(

Haizz....as Little Arielle grows up, it's getting more and more difficult to discipline her! She either talks back or she doesn't listen to you :(. And the super common bad characteristic - stubbornness! Arrgghh.... Really dunnoe how to go about educating her! Apparently my patience now is limited! Poor 贝贝....think she would be a grouchy baby with all the anger that I had stored up inside me! I hope that I will have the patience to deal with Little Arielle after my delivery!

Last Outing for Her K2 Year :(

I'm glad that I have always tried my best Yo let Little Arielle participate in whatever activities or outings in school. I just din want her to miss out anything. Today's outing to Jurong Bird Park is the last one for her K2 year. While I'm happy that she is growing up, I just feel so sad that time has passed by so quickly that my once little girl is going to P1 in another few months' time! I wondered if she is sad that she is not going to see her old friends anymore. For me, I do feel the sadness :(. I hope the transition is going to be smooth for her and down the road, she can still connect with her old friends in future!

Checklist

Little Arielle called me and asked me where is her checklist for her outing tomorrow. I was surprised that she knows what is a checklist. To convince myself further,I got her to describe the checklist. Steady leh! She can tell me it has the list of things to do and once it's done, you can just mark against it!! Really amazing :)

This is not 999

XP told me that Little Arielle kept calling him when he's at work. He got no choice but to lie that this is the police station! Little Arielle was so smart to tell him that she did not dial 999 but her Daddy's number! If only she is so smart when it comes to studies!

Queen of iPhone Games!

I super hate it when The first thing that Little Arielle reached home is to play with XP's iPhone! She can really hog on it for hours if no one disturbs her! In the past, it's those big monitors that we are hooked on and now, it's this small, little gadget. Really don't know how to stop her indulgence :(

I Hate to Teach!

I really hate to teach :(. I just lack the patience and Little Arielle always takes the chance to make me even madder! Was teaching her how to write Chinese characters and her spelling and I really can puke blood :(. She would purposely write her letters so small! I just got very very pissed off and I just couldn't continue further! Scolded my lungs out and I drove her out of the room. She came back minutes later writing her apology on the paper. Though I smiled for a moment for her thought, I still felt very angry! Arrgghh :(

It's Already A Week

Sometimes you can really be amazed at how kids track time! Little Arielle actually knows that XP has owed her her file for a week!

Hugs & Kisses

As my edd draws nearer and nearer, Little Arielle is looking more and more forward to the arrival of Little Belynne! Every night, she will kiss my tummy a few times before going to bed. Hope that she will love her little sister more when she's born :)

She's In!!

I just happened to remember to check my email and was very very happy that Little Arielle was selected to participate in the second season of Mat Yo Yo! I'm so glad that she finally made it this far! It is definitely better than those modeling thingy where they always like to choose Eurasian or ang moh kids! Hopefully she can really excel and make us proud!!

Super Tu Look!

Little Arielle had her haircut today and haha! Her fringe was cut so short that she got a Tu Tu look! Hee....on second look, she does look quite cute!

Smelly, Busy Monday Morning!

I specifically told Little Arielle to hold her cup of milk properly but the next moment, I heard her shouting out for me, saying that she has spilled her milk! I was indeed annoyed! XP went to clear up the mess and I was surprised that Little Arielle din get any beating nor scolding from him. She should thank her lucky stars!!

All the Wrong Strokes!

Faintz....teaching Little Arielle how to write Chinese characters is a nightmare! She just write out the words in her own free way without following the proper strokes! Best of all, her daddy cannot teach her cos his strokes are in a mess too! Arrgghh vomit blood siaz!!

Another Letter to Mummy ;)

Haha....din know my girl likes to write to me :p. Have received a hand delivered letter by her and it showed a pic of our happy family! When asked where is Little Belynne, she would say that ta duo hai mei you sheng chu lai! Can't stand her!

Going Overseas

We were on our way home and suddenly in the car, Little Arielle mentioned something about going overseas. I couldn't remember exactly what was it but she said that she din want to go Japan. Well, we were quite stunned cos she liked Japanese food and of course Disneyland. We were more shocked when she finally revealed the reason for this dislike:

Japan 欺负 Singapore!

Wahhh....you mean a 5YO+ knows Singapore's history! I am truly amazed!!

Indeed Fast Reaction!

Was watching the 9pm drama with Little Arielle and there was this scene where a mother abandoned her girl at the shopping mall. Immediately, I told Little Arielle that if she misbehaves, I will do the same to her.

So as the scene carried on, the reporter was saying, it's a mother's responsibility to protect the child and this mother shouldn't have just left the child at the mall.

IMMEDIATELY, Little Arielle pointed to the TV and said,'see see'. Faintz....

So Difficult to Learn from Mistake?

Sometimes I really wonder if kids are listening? Little Arielle likes to ask me to do things for her as if I'm her maid. Worst of all, she approaches me at the wrong time when I was eating bird nest. Don't they know how to see the situation? Of course I was super irritated! XP was also annoyed with her behavior and needless to say, she got it from him and was lastly asked to go in the toilet.

She was weeping away and suddenly, I din hear any sound. I can't be bothered but suddenly, the silence turned into loud screams for me :(. I just got irritated and that triggered XP to give her another round of whacking! Haizzz....why they just can't be more obedient?

In the end, it's still me who rescued her....

Siding with XP

Had a chance to chat with my MIL this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised when she told me that when she spoke ill of XP, Little Arielle would try her best to side her Daddy :). Just like when she said that XP is bad, Little Arielle would say that he is getting better now :). Ohh....so sweet....what more do you ask from a child :)

It's A Blessing At Times....

I am the typical kind of girl who doesn't like to listen to all the kind of naggings, especially when it is coming from either my mom or MIL. I do admit that I resist the idea of Little Arielle going over to their place cos she always end up eating a lot of junk food :(

However, with Little Belynne inside me, I am grateful that they are just staying opposite me because I can really have a peaceful Sunday lazing around while Little Arielle played at their place. The kind of quietness and the freedom to do whatever I want really made my Sunday felt better. With the gloomy weather, I am even enjoying it cos the weather is cooling and I do not have to raise my voice and feel irritated or angry with the nitty gritty things that Littke Arielle likes to do to me!

Looking forward to more peaceful Sundays....

It Almost Made It!

The death of the first caterpillar came as a shock for Little Arielle. Both of us were more sad when the second one almost made it by turning into a cocoon but died halfway and broke into 2.

Have promised Little Arielle that I will get 2 more and hopefully, we can see a beautiful butterfly at the end of it!

Little Creepy Crawlies!

The first reaction when Little Arielle saw the caterpillars was a shock + ekkk and thereafter, hopping around with excitement. Stupid me forgot to film it down :(

Mummy Me had been playing with caterpillars when I was young and I remembered that mine turned into a butterfly eventually :). I hope that the caterpillars this time round will turn into butterflies successfully as I want Little Arielle to experience their life cycle!

Talent Development Course

After confirming with XP that we are not traveling during Sep school holidays, I went ahead to register Little Arielle for the talent course. After registering, I then found out that at the end of the course, she would have to come up with a short performance to determine if she qualifies to be part of the Mat Yo Yo crew.

Wahh....sweat leh! Means more stress for me lor! As usual! But if she can really make it, hee....she can appear on tv leh! How exciting!!

Clash of Dates Again :(

I remembered to ask LSBD today about her concert date and was xianz that I was right! It's the same date as her P1 orientation! Hopefully her performance is in the afternoon, else how ah? Cos her orientation is in the morning and best of all, i'm doing my confinement during that period and XP is attending his class! Arrgghh....

Continues to Behave!

Think Little Arielle is beginning to understand that making me irritated and angry has absolutely no benefits for her! Am glad that it's another night of happiness where I did not have to scream my head off!

She's happy and I'm happy too! She will still ask if she has behaved today :)

Lesser Irritation Today :)

Think Little Arielle has finally decided to be nicer to me and behaved herself :). So I told her that I will read her a story. But as I continued to do my work, I was so tried that I told her I would read the story some other time. She turned around and said that I lied to her. So, in order not to do so, I told her a story:

Once upon a time, there was a little bear. She refuses to go to bed until her mom kept asking her to do so. The end! She complained ghat it was too short and next moment, she asked:"ni zai jiang wo ah?". Opps she's so clever!!

This has really made it a pleasant night without me screaming away like a mad woman! Hopefully it's gonna stay this way everyday!

The Irritation Continues....

She got me irritated again when she din wait for me and got down the lift on her own. I was really fuming mad! Things were better when we reached home cos XP punished her by asking her to go to the toilet. For that, I had almost 1.5hours of peace :)

Nearing bedtime, she made me scream again by not sleeping and trying to be farnie :(

Arrgghh!! I'm glad I'm not staying at high floor now. Else I really dunnoe if I will throw her down or not!

Arielle is Wrong

I'm not sure ever since when, It's so easy for Little Arielle to get on my nerves. I'm mentally tired everyday and weekend is also not spared :(. It's so tiring physically and draining mentally! She does do irritating actions that I cannot take it and I do find myself screaming at the top of my voice.

When I see her in tears, I felt so bad but soon after, she's back to her annoying self again!

Again she made me made today and she drew a little card telling me that she's in the wrong. While I acknowledge her good way of expressing herself, she is not helping in any way if she continues to irritate me daily!

Arrghhh!!

Cutting Her Own Hair!

Was told by mama that Little Arielle actually cut her own hair cos she found a lock on the floor! Arrgghh the danger of having scissors around!

The Final Completed Work!

It was really not easy getting art done on canvas. This is both Mummy Me and Arielle's first time doing so and guessed what? Our first attempt and the completed work is going to be submitted as a competition piece :p

But I am really quite satisfied with the final output. It kinda of really looks nice! Hope that the judges this Sunday will think likewise too!

We WON!!! Yay!!!

The day only became more assuring for Mummy Me when I saw the organiser posting this on their FB page:

"Dear all, thank you for liking the Shinmin Fun Drive 2012 photo contest. The contest has come to an end and the voting has closed since yesterday 5pm. Thank you for your participation :)"

Finally, they mentioned somewhere that the voting has already ended because that No.2 has already surpassed us in terms of the number of votes!

When asked when and where would the results be published, the person just told me, either today or tomorrow. I din know why but I just felt that it would be too rush to publish the results today. Nonetheless, I still went ahead to purchase today's papers and was shocked, happy and surprised when I saw this:

Road trip 2012!

Embarking our first road trip for the year! First time that Little Arielle did not sleep in the car while we drive to the meeting point! Woo....she's excited too!

Fun....here we come!

好爷爷！

My FIL would occasionally come over to clean our house. Little Arielle was so happy and surprised that the toilet bowl was so clean and she said this: 爷爷很好，从来没有看过这么好的爷爷！

Day 2 @ Maldives

We were all tired from yesterday's flight and the sleep was great :) Little Arielle was so excited in the morning because she spotted fishes from the glass view on the villa floor. Can really see her happy look :)

The buggy came to pick us for our sumptuous buffet breakfast. Thereafter, we took a stroll by the beach since it's on the way to our villa. Little Arielle was busy picking up seashells. Suddenly, I heard a loud scream and she came running fast behind me. Upon checking, we realised that she was bitten by the hermit crab staying in the shell. Hee....that would teach her not to anyhow pick things up!

We came back to the villa and continued to wait for the arrival of our luggage. After the long endless wait, we decided to get out of the room. So we brought Little Arielle to the Kids Club and boy, it was super boring! The sun was so sourcing hot that I did not want her to go down to the pool. So we stayed there for less than half an hour and decided to go back to our villa via the beach.

One of the staff suddenly stopped me while we are about to go to the beach. We were told that our luggage is going to arrive. So we decided to wait there for it. And yes! After so long, it has finally arrived! So we went back to the villa with it and rested in the room till dinner time. Wanted to check out the sea but it was super high tide and it made me feel very insecured! So we decided to just relax around!

We asked for the buggy to bring us to their Flavours restaurant. Have already decided what to eat as they have an online menu. But when we reached, I was quite disappointed because the actual menu did not have what I want. Was then informed by the staff that that was the previous menu. It's quite annoying cos nothing else in the menu really interest me. Hee....luckily Little Arielle can eat for free so in the end, we ordered 2 sets of kids meal instead. Yummy food and surprisingly, I was so full after eating it!

It was pitch darkness after we have finished our dinner. Made our way back via the buggy and that marks the end of Day 2!

Day 1 @ Maldives

The flight to Maldives just seem to be so long even though it was supposed to be a 4 hours flight! Was happy that Little Arielle finished eating her food :) Am always afraid that she did not get to eat enough! But by dirtying her clothes with food, that still made me angry!

Finally reached Maldives and the airport is really super lok-kor! We did not have any covered shelter to the customs. After getting off the plane, we gotta walk under the sun to the customs. Luckily, the distance was not very far! The airport really looked super old! Seems like it can collapse anytime! Anyway, we were brought to our bus which will bring us to our seaplane. While waiting in the bus, we had a glimpse of the clear beautiful sea! It was really amazing :) Things that we see in the photos are finally appearing in front of us!

The bus took us to the waiting area for our seaplane. We were told to wait at the lounge as the seaplane will only leave in half an hour's time. The lounge was fully furnished! It had food, internet access, tv and a massage corner. We were treated like VIPs :)

When it was time to go, we were each given a set of ear plugs. Hmm this is the first time that I was going to use ear plugs. Thought it was supposed to be something hard but realised it was made of sponge.

My thought of a seaplane ride was that it would just move on the water and din know that it can actually fly (sua ku hee). I think I was glad that it flew cos the ride wasn't very pleasant. The plane looks rather big from outside but it was super cramped inside. I felt that the ventilation really sucks and some of the passengers were seen puking. I almost became one of them! A 45 minutes ride seems to be an endless wait! We can't wait to get out of the plane. Worst of all, Little Arielle suddenly complained of stomachache. Luckily, it was not long before we reached the destination. Well, the only good thing about the flight was that we get to see the many little islands from above. It was really magnificent :) And from above, we saw that the area of the hotel was very huge!

Upon arrival, Maldives rain welcomed us! Realised that they had frequent passing showers! We waited for our check in to be completed and the buggy took us straight to our villa!

I was totally mesmerised by the view that appeared in front of us when we opened the villa door. Immediately, we knew that we are in paradise! I was busy snapping pic of all the corners of the room and of course the beautiful sky and sea in front of me! Little Arielle was super excited too! How we wished that this holiday is never gonna end!

After exploring all the parts of the room, we finally settled down. Little Arielle could not resist the outdoor jacuzzi and she was the first to take a dip in it. Thereafter, we decided to go out to the island to take a look and at the same time, have our dinner. Halfway through, we were stopped by the hotel staff where we were told that our luggage will not arrive until next morning! We were quite shocked because we literally saw it at the jetty earlier. The staff apparently made a mistake and sent our luggage back to main land! To compensate us, we were treated with a complimentary dinner and had a set of polo tee and sarong!

Opps....did I say complimentary dinner? Hahaha....we took the chance to order the expensive stuff from room service and it was so shiok! Hee think the bill can easily choke up to $200+ Sin! But well, it was not our fault! We were lazy and tired after the flight and dinner and so, it's rest time!

Flight to Paradise!

The long awaited trip to Maldives is finally here! After months of waiting! Hee! So excited to seethe sun, sand and sea! Just want to take the magnificent pic of sunset, sunrise and dark clouds!

Gonna take lots of Little Arielle's pic too! Yeah!!

The Start of MyNightmare!

I can still remember Little Arielle being very excited about her outing! She immediately woke up when I only called her once and finished her milk within 2 minutes! I am super amazed with her speed!

But when we picked her after our work, I am sad to find out that her fever has come back looking for her :(. At the most, it is still under control. I highly suspect that it has something to do with her throat infection and I hope that she will quickly recover to be in time for our trip next week!

The 3 Day Ordeal!

I am so glad that the 3 day ordeal is finally over and my little darling is finally free from fever! It has been a torturing period not just for her but for me too! The sleepless nights made it worst as Mummy Me still needs to work the next day!

This is by far the worst fever that she has ever got! Hovering between 39 - 40 degree and once hitting a high of 40.1!

To me, the best Mother's Day gift is my healthy baby! And I so happy that she's back with me now!

Always Last Minute!

Really don't understand why Little Arielle always like to visit the toilet last minute! As a result of this last minute act, she will always pee on her panty! This super duper irritates me!

Already warned her that she will wash her own panty from tomorrow onwards if this happens again!

Mummy Me wanted to eat kway teow soup and this is the coffeeshop that Little Arielle doesn't like to go. See what she says!

Little Arielle does have some talent in drawing. Hmm I wonder if this is inherited from XP or it's learnt through her weekly art class :p. In any case, it's just interesting to see what she has drawn :)

Happy Family Pic!

Tada! Saw Little Arielle drawing happily on her own and when I saw her completed pic, I'm so glad that she is looking forward to the arrival of the little one. And I'm really happy that I am finally granting her wish after so many years :) But then hor, she wants a girl wor....which I can't promise her! Hopefully her wish can come true. But it means my parents will be disappointed hahahaa :p

I Want to Bath On My Own!

Hee....my little gal has finally grown up and requested to bath on her own! Yeah....one less thing for Mummy Me to do :p

1st Ez-link Card

Little Arielle called me and requested me to help her buy Ez link card cos she needs to go and 'mai cai'. The school is going to bring her to the supermarket as one of their course activity. In the end, WJ helped to buy on behalf :p The card looks really cute :)

Skipping Art Class

It has never been my practise to skip Little Arielle's art class. I remembered there was once that I was not feeling well and I still brought her to class. Woo....that few hours in the class was a torture!

Sadly today, we had to skip our lesson :(. Mummy Me just vomitted badly before the class. The after feeling was terrible. I got the feeling that it will probably happen again and I really did not want to take the risk. I wasn't willing to leave her in class for that few hours cos the teacher just couldn't handle so many kids at a time. XP couldn't make it cos he has another meeting.

The best way is for Mummy Me and Little Arielle to stay at home.

XP bought dinner for us before leaving for his meeting. Before he left, he told Little Arielle to look after me. After he left, when I needed some help, she actually told me off. She said that, zhe mo da de ren dou bu hui zhao gu zi ji! Arrrghhh, so, the verdict is, having a daughter ain't a good thing too!

Little Sportswoman

Little Arielle was chosen to participate in her upcoming Sports Day on 12 May. Looking forward to see her speeding off in action. Must be damn cute :p

Timetable for 2

Hee....I was surprised that Little Arielle could recite the '2' timetable out with no mistake. Some kids may think that this is nothing fantastic and could have done much more. But to me, this is already some great achievements! When asked who taught her and she said popo! Mama is really my greatest help! I think I definitely cannot manage alone! How can I do without her! Thanks mama :)

The Toy Theme!

The theme for this semester is toy and Little Arielle was so excited when Ms Tan asked her to bring her toy tom school tomorrow. Immediately, she thought of her iPad.

When she got home this evening, she immeditely put it in the bag for fear that she will forget to bring tomorrow! Hmm....I din see her being so enthu about other things leh!

Helping Out....

Just felt happy when Little Arielle will try to take care of me and auto helped to fold the pile of clothings! Ahhhh so sweet of her :)

Big Mouth Gal!

Arrgghhh can't stand my girl! It's not even 3 months and she started telling people that I'm P! She just told her teacher today and mama got a shock when she congratulated her when she picked her up from school. Faintz....she is just so excited! Buay tahan her!

A Good Chance Missed!!!

Sometime ago, Mummy Me signed up Little Arielle for the Fox Talent. Yesterday morning, I saw Fox posting about the search and thought that Little Arielle was not shortlisted.

When I checked my email again, I realised that she was and the mail went into my spam box. Arrghhh so mad and upset with myself for missing this good chance!

So dumb of me :(

It's so nice that when we speak nicely and the child listens to us. Told Little Arielle to let me finish up my work so that I can rest cos I am quite tired and she gladly said that,'Mummy, wo bu chao ni le.'

Ohhh....so sweet to hear that :p

Unappreciative Gal :(

Was so excited to tell Little Arielle that I bought the Y-pad for her Upon knowing that it doesn't have the games option, she said that she doesn't want it.

She is indeed so spoilt and unappreciative :( Kids in other parts of the world doesn't enjoy such luxury at all!

Perhaps should not have made an effort to buy anything for her at all!

I Want a Girl!

Was on our way home and I don't know how the topic of the gender of the baby came about :p

Apparently, Little Arielle just wants a little sister instead of a brother and she even started asking lao tian ye to give her a sister instead of a brother.

If everything is right, Little Arielle may be having a little sister/brother soon :) Told her about it and she came and hugged my tummy :) What a sweet gesture! I'm sure that she will be very excited about it!

Easily Annoyed!

These days, Mummy Me just felt so irritated easily. And I can't stand Little Arielle talking non-stop after we fetched her.

Poor her....always kena scolded by me :p

Bonding Time with Daddy....

It was a surprise that XP did not surf net after tonight's dinner. Probably he had his share of surfing since he was on half day leave today (to settle some minor reno thingy).

So after dinner, Mummy Me had my free time cos Little Arielle was going after XP to get him to play with her :)

Am glad that he was able to keep her company as some daddys probably can't be bothered :p especially, playing girl's stuff i.e. magnetic dolls hee :)

1st Batch of Magnetic Dolls

During Mummy Me's childhood days, what accompanied me through was those paper dolls where we are able to change their clothes indefinitely. As times change, this toy sadly disappeared.

Recently, Mummy Me saw an improvised versio of what I have played during my childhood days! It's magnetic dolls! Same concept as the paper dolls, just that it's now magnetic. So without further consideration, I bought the full set for Little Arielle and check out how happy she was :)

Difficult to Please!

Human beings are just an annoying bunch of people :p When Little Arielle always call me in office, I find her a nuisance!

But when she doesn't call me at all, I wonder why she din call me!

Children are really creative! Little Arielle just spread her blanket on the floor, lying down and she declared to XP that she is camping!

1st Overseas Trip for 2012

Here we are....blogging away from T3. Gonna take the transfer B in a while to board our A380 flight :p

We are going to HK....yeah....some of you probably will say Oh....it's the same destination :) But nevermind, as long as get to fly out of Singapore, it's a blessing :p

We are going there to celebrate XP's birthday which is tomorrow....

Looking forward to a few days of fun and relaxation :)

Kpo Gal

I think my girl is really like me :p Always so KPO hahaha :)

I was at my mama's gate waiting to pick her up and she saw me without specs. Apparently, I broke my specs this morning and had to wear contacts. So she asked me why I am not wearing specs (also proves that she's observant :p). Thought that would be the end of her question.

Who knows, she goes on to ask,'Did your colleagues ask you why you din wear specs?' Buay tahan her but I just love her innocent questions :) Always never fail to put a smile on my face!

One thing that I love about Little Arielle's drawing is that it always protray a happy feeling :) The sun is smiling and the rainbow is happy too :)

What I super love is she always remember to include her 'baby sister' in the drawing. This is something that also made me sad cos till now, I have not been able to give her a companion :( I too wonder, when that day will come....

My New Toy!

It was just a casual walk around to the Courts Sale at Singapore Expo and I got myself a new camera - Panasonic Lumix 5! Thanks to XP of course :p Yippee....hopefully this new one is able to allow me to take better night shots. My Sony one, sigh....somehow just cannot make it! Even my iPhone takes better night shots than that!

The Same Issue!!

Out of the blue, Little Arielle started saying that she doesn't want to attend her Chinese lass anymore! Wahhh....I thought this is a thing of the past!

She kept asking when is the course ending. When asked why she doesn't like the class, she claimed that she doesn't Ike the teacher. Hmm....but this year, the teacher is different leh!

Xianz....I think I would be having some different moments getting her to class tomorrow :(

She's Getting Naughtier!

Last time, Little Arielle hates to say sorry when she has done something wrong. But now, sorry is a easy word that comes out of her mouth, but in quick and yet unwilling manner! Apparently, she doesn't sound sincere with the apology! Hmm so which way is better?

Price Increase :(

Heard from my mama that Little Arielle's CMA course fee is gonna increase by $30. Though it din seem a lot but the thought of price increase still sucks :(

Sigh....all things increase except for our salary!

No Art Class....

It's not because the teacher declared no class but it was Mummy Me who simply has no mood to bring her :(. Was super upset with some ridiculous remarks and request and I was just boiling mad!

Though one side of me said that I should forget about it and bring her for class, the other side of me just couldn't get over it! So in the end, she just stayed at home with me.

Luckily she was still pretty cooperative and din provoke me further!

Sorry dearie, we will go for class next week!

The Nice Surprise....

Remember my earlier post where I mentioned that Little Arielle will make me happy....Guess what? She got full marks for one of her assignment :p

Wahhh that indeed made me happy! Doing well from the start of the year! Yeah!

As a reward, she got a 'Very Good' stamp from her teacher!

Give Me A Chance....

I was always annoyed with the fact that Little Arielle doesn't want to visit the toilet. Frankly speaking, I have yet to understand the reason why she doesn't want to do so :( So it's always a dread asking her to pee in the morning especially....

Just yesterday, mama told me that she pee-ed onto her pants and socks and apparently, she was very mad with her. I also told Little Arielle off! Scolded her that if she continued to behave in this way, I will not wash her clothes and let her wear those soiled ones!

She called me today and asked me to give her a chance. I was wondering what happened and she told me that she could not pee in time and kena her pants again.

But she said that she would make me happy today....

I Can't Believe It!

Hee....you know what? XP just booked the tickets to Maldives!!! Ahhhh I can't believe that we are going there! Hee....it's so exciting! Though Little Arielle is coming with us but it's okie lah....I shouldn't be so mean to always want to exclude her :p

Counting down to May....

Hee....can't believe that one of my colleague is asking me to get Little Arielle to perform in our upcoming CNY celebration :p

I came back and asked if she is interested to do so and her immediate answer is YES. All right....I will try to teach her how to sing everyday hee :p

1st Edudrama Class for 2012

It's January! Start of the brand new school term! That means I will be busy every weekend again! This is the first 1.5hr lesson for her Julia Gabriel class. Hmm that means she will get to borrow 2 books instead of 1. Mummy Me must be really on to read to her in preparation of her P1!

Glad that she is happy going for her class!

1st Art Lesson for 2012!

It's the day of the week that I dread!! Everyone is excited about Friday but I am simply hating it :(. That's because I had to sit in with Little Arielle for her art class. I feel it's a waste of time for me but on the other hand, I don't feel safe leaving her alone cos the other students in the class are quite mischievous and the teacher couldn't handle it sometimes! So I think I will just have to sacrifice my time and continue to go in with her!

The consoling part is that she has improved a lot from the time she first started! Ahhhh....this is the part which made me feel my sacrifice is worth the while!

1st Day in K2 2012

It's the first day of school for Little Arielle today. She was very cooperative this morning! Din kick a fuss when she was asked to drink milk :). Especially when it was from her cup and not her milk bottle! Only thing was that she still din like the idea of peeing in the morning! Just dun know what is wrong with her! Hmph!

The transition from our house to mama's house was very smooth! Upon reaching, mama quickly changed her, tied her hair and we are all ready for school!

Not sure if it were the familiar faces which made her feel at ease, she happily went into class without any teary look. Wonder if she would be as happy when she goes into P1 next year. Sigh....the thought of it just gave me the jitters!!

Orientation 2012

It's Little Arielle's orientation day this morning. XP din manage to take leave as he had a new colleague joining his dept today and he is his buddy. As such, it's just Mummy Me :(. As I din want to be alone, I asked mama to accompany me.

Sitting through that almost 2hrs of briefing is no joke! I found myself constantly yawning away. Thankfully, my iPhone kept me awake :p. After understanding what is required of us and the things needed on Thur, we were dismissed. Both mama and I quickly cheong to queue up for the uniform purchase. Luckily we did that cos it was a long queue thereafter. Got 2 sets of uniform and 2 sets of PE attire. That easily cost me $39. And I finally understood why the queue is so long! Cos the lady is so slow in filling up the receipt. Faintz!

Hee heng I was clever. Mama queued at the uniform side while I went to settle her school fees. When I was back, she was still in the queue.

Everything ended at about 10.45am. By the time I reached mama's house, I only got chance to rest for a while before going off to work. Time flies....my girl is already in K2 this year. Wished that time would have pass by slower....so stressed that she is going to be P1 next year. I think I better be disciplined and start to do some teaching at home before it's too late!
