Good Behaviour

It must be the pillow that we have bought for Little Arielle that made her sleep through the night. Hopefully it is gonna be the case for the rest of the week.

She woke up early this morning and was not cranky! So happy leh! She behaved well cos XP placed her in her car seat and she was enjoying the scenery alone in the back seat.

Aiyo, this is one of the rare rare moments that she is so well-behaved leh! Keep up the good work okie hee....

After much persuasion, managed to capture her on video but she purposely anyhow sing! Aiyah nevermind lah, better than nothing!

Huggies Baby Photo Contest

Hi Mummy Ching, I'm in as a competitor but dun worry, it's not in the same category as Brandon. After reading Mummy Ching's blog, I too joined in the fun and submitted Little Arielle's pic. I know the chances of winning is slim but nevermind lah, at least you dun have to queue for it for hours hee! Realised that for Little Arielle's category (13 months to 24 months), there are already 9 pages of photos submitted which is equavilaent to 79 pics!

Anyway, here's the link to vote for us!

Purchases from Kiddy Palace

Finally we have "forced" ourselves to buy things from Kiddy Palace. This is because we have vouchers expiring 30 Sep 2008. So we got no choice but to go and get something there. In fact the vouchers were since Little Arielle's 1st birthday and how times flies, it a few days' time, she would be 2 liaoz!

Here's the load of stuff that we got from Kiddy Palace!

I Can Do It Myself!

Hmm, do what?

Check this out! - Uploaded on 01 Oct 2008

Really din expect Little Arielle to know how to remove her pants. Probably she can already do it some time ago at mama's house but this is the first time I saw her do it herself.

Probably we are over-protective and do not allow our kids to do a lot of things for fear for this and that. I guessed when the time comes, we gotta let go a bit....

The Cake is Ordered

Finally got this important task done. Called Prima Deli's hotline this morning and spoke to one of their staff. Managed to get everything clear about how they work. Under their Dial-a-Cake service, you will get a 15% discount if you use UOB card for payment. However, there would be a delivery charge incurred. So it's as good as no discount. In order to waive the delivery charge, there is a current promotion whereby if you use Citibank card, you would enjoy complimentary delivery but there will be no further discount given. The best part is you cannot use UOB card for payment and opt for self-collection. They must definitely earn the delivery fees from you!

Aiyo so much hassle leh so in the end, I decided to order directly from the store instead. They will still give you a 10% discount if I use UOB card and there is one outlet in Century Square so at least I dun have to spend petrol going to their outlet.

Instead of choosing the original one that Little Arielle has picked, we decided to opt for another design cos the staff told me that 1.5kg can feed around 16-22 pax! Wat seh, they must be joking man! I only got 7 of us! How to finish up such a big cake leh? If I were to ask my parents and siblings to eat over a few days, I guessed they would probably get sick of it.

So in the end, I took another design which only requires a minimum of 1kg. That is good enough cos it's supposed to be for 10-15 pax. At least it's better than 16-22 pax lor!
*The chosen cake* - Uploaded on 05 Oct 2008

Was recommended by the counter staff to take truffle. She said it's nicer. Yeah, sure is lor! Cos you gotta pay another $6 per kg. So in the end, total payment after the discount is $40.92.

Well, okie lah, cos it's for my darling daughter's birthday so I dun mind to pay more if it's gonna taste nicer. Can't wait to see her expression on her birthday!

Recurring Behaviour

Aiyo, the same thing happened again this morning whereby I can hear Little Arielle's cries. Haha, this time round, she prefers me hee. Kept hearing her say,"I want Mummy" and "Beat Daddy".

So XP concluded that she must have a nightmare hee!

Honest Gal

Heard from mama that Little Arielle scolded her today. Best of all, she said she scold her,"吃大便" Alamak, what a crude language leh.

So while in the car, I took the chance to ask her if she has scolded 婆婆 today. The following is the conversation:

Me: "Did you scold 婆婆 today?"
LA: "Yes"

Me: "What did you scold her?"
LA: "吃大便"

Win liaoz! Honest gal and memory is good hor! Can remember what she scold hor! Told her cannot scold people in this manner! But I know that she is sure to forget! Jiat lard siaz....

Miserable Me!

I'm a zombie today again! All thanks to Little Arielle who woke me up at 5am+ with her loud wails! Aiyo, why my 命 so 苦 leh? Can't even have a proper sleep! She was really hysterical and only wants to stick to her Daddy who was busy ironing clothes early in the morning.

Well, since she din want me then bo pian lor. Her daddy gotta carry her in and out and I took a peek and saw her sitting next to her daddy while he irons his clothes!

Dun noe wake up so early for what leh???

Mini Accomplishments

by me....Finally, I found the Barney birthday cake for Little Arielle. In life hor, one cannot 钻牛角尖, go one big round and in the end, the item is just within reach! Aiyah, blame it on the silly Prima Deli website! While I was surfing net yesterday, one of the sites indicated some outdated information! 害me waste so much time to go and email eCreative and gotta answer so many questions from them! So important lesson to learn is, website must always maintain the most up to date information for customers!

Anyway, forget it! This is the cake that Little Arielle has chosen! Gave her the list of cakes and this is the one that she picked!

Will be placing the order tomorrow. Online or phone order by UOB card gets 15% discount!

The second accomplishment is that I finally made the first step to check the school for Little Arielle. I know that if I dun do anything, XP is not gonna do any either cos he is not really ready for the idea of Little Arielle attending school. But, since he did mention about it the other time, I thought of just doing some checks for reference purpose. Got some guide from my colleauge, Irene who asked me to check out this school called Cherie Hearts. Have heard of their name before but not really sure how established they are. She gave me their website and I went to take a look.

Well, from the looks of it, it does seems good. They have got a lot of awards and best of all, they have 3 branches in Tampines. That would make things easy for mama to pick Little Arielle up from school. For a start, I guessed I would let Little Arielle join their playgroup first and see how things go.

Have sent them an email with the following enquiry:

a. What is the charges for playgroup?

b. How long is the session?

c. What is the student to teacher ratio?

d. What can I expect in a playgroup? As in, they just play and mingle around or there is some teachings involved?

e. Is the place air-conditioned?

f. Would we have a tour before we decide to register?

g. What time does the playgroup starts?

Hmm, not bad hor, the questions I asked are very professional right hahaha! Must ask them such thing so that they know that I am not those sua-ku type who dun noe anything and they can try to smoke me! Dun play play with Mummy Cyn man! Anyway, they were pretty probe with their reply. I sent a request form online and they replied me within 10 minutes. Well, either they are very efficient, else it must be because they are too engz! They gave me a background of the school and mentioned that someone will call me to furnish me details tomorrow. I shall wait for their call then!

Scary Dream!

This is something that has been weighing on my mind. As such, it became a dream to scare me! Hmm, what do I mean leh? I actually dreamt that it's Little Arielle's birthday today and yet I have done nothing. In the end had to rush to buy a cake for her that is not Barney. Aiyo so sad leh!

This means I better start doing something since her birthday is 2 weeks away leh! Still don't do something, it means that the dream is gonna come true!

So after I woke up, the first thing I surfed on the net is information on Barney birthday cake. After some thoughts, I decided not to get a 3D one for her cos it is not very realistic to get such a big cake with only a few of us eating.

So went reading some forum whereby mummies were discussing about cakes for their kids' birthday. A few of them suggested eCreative. They mentioned that you can give them the Barney picture and they will base on that to do up the cake for you! Hmm, then how come the other time when I emailed them, they simply end it off by saying that they dun do Barney designs. Din even suggest that I can furnish the pic and they base on that to do. Probably it's wrong for them to do such suggestions and the idea must come from customers? I guessed I have to email them and ask if this is possible. Good luck to me then!

Botanic Garden Walk

Wow, it has been at least 20 years for me and 25 years for XP since we last visited Botanic Gardens. Well, the good thing about having a kid is that it makes you visit places which you have not gone for ages!

The Tan family was jio by the Heng family to make a trip to Botanic Gardens on this gloomy Saturday morning. I set the time at 10am so that we do not have to wake up so early. Can be tiring you know hee!

Little Arielle woke up at a good timing. Got everyone ready and we moved off at about 9.20am. Went to pick daddy, mama and granny at Tampines first. Was praying hard that it would not rain cos the sky was overcast!

WX and WJ took the public transport and so they arrived a little later than us. WX brought us around and the first stop was next to the pond. We took some pics along the way to the pond.

I laid the mat next to the pond and we were ready for our mini picnic! Mama was nice to prepare sandwich for our breakfast. Hmm, yummy yum yum, my favourite egg + ham + cucumber + tomato sandwich hee!

Little Arielle din want the bread cos she wants to feed the fishes and tortoises instead. Check out what she is doing:

Uploaded on 20 Sep 2008

After the fishes feeding time, XP was naughty and wanted to throw Little Arielle into the pond of fishes! Look at her reaction hee:

Uploaded on 20 Sep 2008

After she was being "scared" by XP, she decided to scare the birds. So there she is, seen running after them!

Uploaded on 20 Sep 2008

After all the running and chasing, it's Little Arielle feeding time. Mama was busy feeding her her porridge. Little Arielle was persipring as if her forehead is "raining"

We were supposed to look for the sundial clock which was one of the significant item in Botanic Gardens. Hmm, seems like they have removed it liaoz. We din really looked for a long time cos the hot sun was draining us up. Moreover, Little Arielle fell on the grass patch while she was playing ball with WX and WJ. Luckily, she only suffered some mild scratches. As such, we thought of going off as we were there for nearly 3 hours! Probably, the next time we come, we will continue the search for the sundial clock!

We took more pics as we were on our way back home. Lunch was great! We had curry fish head, brocolli, hei zou and prawn fritters at Bedok! We hope to have more family activities together as it promotes healthy lifestyle and family bonding!!

Points Updated

Was checking my email today and realised that Abbott has sent me a few emails informing me that my Reward Points have been updated. Oh, that's fast! It was indicated that they would at least take 3-4 weeks to do it but in actual fact, they took only about 2 weeks to get the points updated.

Hmm, earned a total of 1100 points which I can use it to redeem 1 tin of 400g milk powder. Not in need of milk powder now so I shall keep the points first then!

Possessed!

Oh no, I think I must have been possessed leh! I 1 shot placed order for 6 pieces of dress for Little Arielle.

Jiat lard lah, online shopping is burning a hole in my pocket! But I just cannot resist the sweet thingy leh! Especially when I thought how nice it would look on Little Arielle. Hmm, in total have spent $91.39 on these dresses. Online shopping is becoming part of me until I can stay at home even during weekends. Shopping in malls doesn't give me that kind of attraction anymore. I can get nicer and cheaper stuff online. But of course, I would sometimes like to go out and take a breather hee!

Look at the nice dresses that I have ordered!

It's Been A While...

since Little Arielle would lie quietly in my arms on our way home. It is through this moment that I can take a few minutes break.

I enjoyed the moment with the kid in your arms and you relax in the car. How shiok! Aiyo, wish that she would behave in this way everyday lor!

Hoola Hoop

Picked Little Arielle up after my yoga lesson. Before we went off, daddy brought a hoola hoop and gave it to Little Arielle. Hahaha, once she got hold of the hoop, she started shaking her body! Aiyah, din bring my camera along! Else would have capture her in action!

Ba Lu Ku

Aiyo this CMI gal din watch where she is walking and knocked herself into the wall! Up comes a ba lu ku lor! Her forehead is always full of her "achievements". One subside after another! Dear darling, can you please watch where you are going!! Later not pretty how??

Snowman Pyjamas

Got the Snowman Gap pyjamas from Jerlene today. Little Arielle only managed to see it late at night cos I had to work late today.

Her eyes were very sharp. She managed to pick out the items in the dark and it was in my bag! She was so excited and happy with the pyjamas and kept saying,"Snowman, snowman!"

Personally, I dun find the dishes fantastic. Probably not used to eating dishes prepared in this manner!

Anyway, the kids were not so patient to be in their seats for long. Soon, they were seen moving around like little monkeys!

八月十四在裕华园

It's Little Arielle's Chinese birthday today and as such, we decided to make it special by bringing her to the Chinese Gardens. Hmm, why Chinese Gardens leh?? Cos there's the Hello Kitty and Friends lantern on display. Hmm, I guessed it's gonna be an exciting one since Hello Kitty is so popular in Singapore.

It's almost like 20-25 years since the both of us last visited this garden. Wat seh, seems like we haven't been to a lot of places for a long long time. But dun worry, Little Arielle will help us recall the past hee!

Tickets cost $15 each and it's free for children below 3 years old. This is the price you have to pay to see Hello Kitty and you get a free paper lantern! It's 6pm+ when we were in the garden and so the lightings were not on. However, all the lanterns started to light up at about 7pm. Wow, this is really facinating! All the characters seem to glow from far! And they really attract a lot of attention which is no good cos everyone started to squeeze in to have their pic taken! XP was so annoyed by a man who tried to take pic for either his kid or grandchild. Not sure if he did it on purpose or wat but he just came blocking in front of XP when XP was already in position to take pic for us. XP was so mad that he purposely went to block that man but that man simply can't be bothered. Hee can see the angry look on XP's face! Hmm bo pian lor! This is what happens in crowded places!

Saw a lot of kids holding on to those nice balloons. Little Arielle immediately recognised one of the characters - Dora. Thought of getting it for her but then again, it's only for that few hours and she wasn't even pestering me for it. So, better not spoil her too much hee and save a bit of money! It so happened that one of the visitors there passed by Little Arielle and gave her a small heart shaped balloon! That's the good thing about being cute hee! Gifts will automatically be given hahahaha!

Check out the nice pics - Uploaded on 22 Sep 2008

Realised that Little Arielle had a cut on her right leg. Aiyo, dun noe how it actually happen. Quickly wipe off the blood and luckily the cut is not deep!

Anyway, it was indicated on the notice that there would be fireworks at 8.30pm. So we decided to leave after watching the fireworks. Well, it was quite a disappointing one but it's better than nothing.

What do you think?

Catalog

Got a Little Tike phamplet during the Taka Baby Fair. Since then, Little Arielle has been looking at it almost everyday. Why is she so interested leh? Cos it's a phamplet full of toys and bikes. She would then tell you that she wants this and that toy. It somehow became her "menu" liaoz!

Full of Cries

The last thing that I really want after a hard day's work is CRIES!! However, sad to say, Little Arielle simply "enjoys" irritating me with her cries! We went to pick her up from mama's house after my yoga session. Her action is super fast today. Once she was placed in her car seat, within spilt seconds, she got out of it and immediately climbed into the driver's seat. XP was already in the driver's seat and he quickly handed her over to me.

Little Arielle started pinching me real hard as she refused to be carried by me and insisted to go back to the driver's seat as she wants to "drive". She feels extremely happy when she is able to turn the steering wheel. However, that is a very dangerous act especially when the car is moving.

Her pinch was really painful. I smacked her on her hands and placed her back in her car seat. She started wailing away for more than half of the journey. I tell you, I am really PISSED OFF!! This is really noise pollution and it is deafening especially in an enclosed area and when you are tired and sleepy!

Got so irritated that I really hope that I can reach home asap! Think XP also couldn't take it that he drove fast and was concentrating hard on the drive.

The thought of opening the car door and throwing her out really strikes me hard! Is it a sigh of stress?? Why is she not listening to me??

More Complaints

Cannot stand mama again who is repeating her previous same complaints to me! Have already told her that if she accede to Little Arielle's requests everytime, there would not be a stop to it.

She would keep telling me that it is so embarassing when Little Arielle starts shouting and screaming in the public. As such, to stop her from doing so, she got no choice but to get whatever she wants for her!

This is no way to teach a child! By giving in to her, she would have the conception that she will be able to get what she wants whenever she throws tantrum in the public!

So now the question is, how to educate the elderly so that they would know how to keep the little one in hand?? 伤脑精 leh!

School for Little Arielle

XP decided to take a drive to our new house to check out the progress of the construction. Suddenly, he asked me if there are any good schools in Marine Parade. So I pointed to the right and said,"Tao Nan". He said that he is not referring to primary school but rather schools suitable for Little Arielle's current age.

Oh, I'm so happy when he finally decided to let Little Arielle attend school. So I took the chance to quickly tell him that one of his friend's girl is also gonna attend playground in Jan09. She is a few months older than Little Arielle and according to her mother, it would be a 2 hours session daily and that would cost about $200.

Hmm, I guessed should really start looking around for such schools in Tampines for Little Arielle. Seems like most people have already started to register their kids for next year's intake. I better start doing something too!

More Gap Pyjamas

Mama Tong started another round of Baby Gap pyjamas BP to clear her remaining stock. I din manage to get one of the designs the last round cos she said that the size that I wanted is out of stock.

I saw it again today and it is available in size 4T. Hack lah, buy first even though Little Arielle is only 2 years old lor. But it's okie lah, she is currently wearing 3T and it's quite all right cos the pyjamas is supposed to fit her snugly. So if she is getting a bigger size, that means it would just be slightly bigger. In any case, kids grow fast nowadays, so the trick is always to get bigger size so that it will last longer for them hee! One of the money saving tips that you must learn hor!

Expensive Toothpaste

It is only children in this society that gets to enjoy all the luxury! Hmm, so are we spoiling them? Well, I really dun noe? Only know that I just spent $9.90 today on a 40g toothpaste for Little Arielle! Wat seh, $9.90 can at least get me 2 tubes of Darlie 250g toothpaste lor!

The brand - First Teeth is recommended by my colleague, Irene. She bought a lot of tubes and I tap on her so that we can save a bit of shipping costs as she purchased online. She said that this brand of toothpaste is selling at $13+ in Singapore! Wat seh, I already complain when I got it at $10, let alone $13!!!

Oh well, the following is what the toothpaste promises:

- no flouride or saccharin (dun noe wat is it??)
- no abrasives or soap
- no artifical preservatives
- safe to swallow
- contains natural milk enzymes

Well, the milk enzymes is said to help reduce bacteria in plaque film and fight early tooth decay. It also provides safer cleaning of the baby's teeth and gums. Sounds damn good right??

*Here's how the toothpaste looks like!* - Uploaded on 11 Sep 2008

Anyway, 算了吧! This is the result of a one-child policy! Dun dote on her then dote on who leh hee! Well, I know a bit lame lah! This shouldn't be the reason hee. But since she needs to use it. might as well get a good one for her!

Hopefully it would make her brush her teeth diligently. Will start this weekend then!

Spoilt Brat!

Mama was giving me feedback that Little Arielle is getting out of hand. She would always pester mama to buy things for from NTUC. Those things that she wants would include biscuits, Yakult and sometimes probably sweets.

Have already told mama not to buy for her as I dun like Little Arielle to feed on junk food on a daily basis. Mama would say that if she doesn't accede to Little Arielle's request, she would create a scene there and then, thereby making her embarassed!

She can start screaming at the top of her voice and would attract all attention on her. In order to keep her down, she got no choice but to buy for her!

I was quite pissed with such thinking! While I understand that they dote on their grandchild but going overboard will not help in the child's development. I told her that Little Arielle doesn't behave in that way when she is out with us during weekends. So, it goes to show that she knows who will give in to her whims and fancies!! And if they are going to continue with it, she would be terribly spoilt by them!

And when that happens, we parents would be the ones who are suffering! Sometimes, really feel like putting down everything and be a SAHM. However, situation doesn't permit and I have to depend on someone. While I appreciate mama's help greatly to take care of her, on the other hand, I felt frustrated when she fails to execute the necessary disciplinary action on Little Arielle.

I am at a complete loss : (

Lovely Socks

Hee, yes, I bought things for Little Arielle again. But, dun scold me first hor! Cos this is one of her essential items! She only got 2 pairs of socks so I thought of adding another 4 to her collection so that she dun always wear the same old pair.

Furthermore, I think she would outgrow her socks soon and since there is a current BP selling nice, lovely socks at only $10 for 4 pairs, I quickly grabbed the deal.

Received the items today and true enough, it's so sweet leh!

Strong Stamina

XP decided to pack our stuff which is still sitting in Jerome's house. His house is sold and we would need to vacate our things from there. It was a tiring procedure and I literally took hours to pack. Probably it's because I'm allergic to dust and so was sneezing away while doing the packing. The job was more tedious as I had to jagar Little Arielle while doing the work. Being young and energetic, she was practically touching this and playing with that. Aiyo, I almost died lor!

Best part is, she had such good stamina that she din sleep until 5.30pm. That means she was awake for the past 9 hours as she woke up at 8.30am today!

Steady lor....

Autobacs in the East

For all those car lovers, you would probably know what is Autobacs and you would be even happier to know that they had recently opened their 2nd outlet in the East, only if you are staying in the East too hee! For the benefit of those who do not know, it's actually a shop that specialise in car accessories (lots of them imported from Japan) and car tyres and lots more car-related items. It has been a very popular shop when they had their one and only outlet in the West. Now that they have opened up another one in the East, I am sure that they are gonna attract crowds too!

XP patronised them this morning after our breakfast. We were there early and thus, we were assured of a parking lot. I feel that the shop here is smaller but nevermind, not important to me cos I'm not into all these men's stuff. Little Arielle is very excited cos what welcomed us at the entrance is this trolley that is tapping on the design of a car. Placed Little Arielle inside it and she was very happy turning the wheel.
*Happy in her own world!* - Updated on 12 Sep 2008

After XP got what he wanted, there was popcorn and a balloon for Little Arielle on our way out as it's their opening ceremony! Wow, the carpark is now all full of cars and more coming in to join in the crowd!

Record Breaker

It has been a long time since I last slept for 12 hours! I kinda of cannot believe it myself too. It has been difficult to sleep for that long for me cos time is always not enough for me to use. But it was really a tiring day yesterday, so much so, the 3 of us slept at 8pm. Hmm so Little Arielle is able to sleep that early after all!

She shall have this kind of early bedtime treatment when we move into our new house. Although it may be late to start such discipline for her, but I guessed it's late than never! She has too many distractions in my PIL's house. So hopefully, she can sleep early without any distractions by then! Then her dark circles will be gone and I will have more time for myself and perhaps I can sleep early too!

CRV Club 1st Year Anniversary

It's not the "birthday" of our car but rather it's the birthday of CRV club! We got our car on 24 Dec 2007 and XP happened to saw this CRV forum on the website. He decided to join in as a member as he finds the club fun and interesting. Soon, he was roped in as a committee member!

I must admit it's a good club to join as we come together and share the common interests and activities like driving into Msia for some great durians hee!

Okie enough of that, back to the event! We reached Labrador Seafood Restaurant at about 2pm+. Henry is already there to guide all the cars into the "parade square" which is made exclusive for this event. We got down, mingle around and XP started to help out with the registration. Not bad leh, still get a LED torchlight and a Labrador Seafood Restaurant discount card! Little Arielle was busi walking around like a little supervisor!

Soon, most of the guests arrived and the first thing to do is to have the photo taking session as the organiser is afraid that it would rain. Hmm, in the end, the weather was great! Heaven is kind to us not to rain today. It was sunny the whole day leh! Okie, after the important task is done, we proceed to have our food. Wat seh, damn hungry leh cos din have lunch :(. Food was good considering that it's only high tea at this ulu restaurant.

Last program for the day would be cake-cutting ceremony and most important of all - Lucky draw! The cake is nice hee and lucky draw is even better hahaha! Everyone willbe happy cos it's a sure-win lucky thing! Buay tahan leh, XP is given the task of the MC hahahaha! Din know that he can talk in front of so many people leh! Okie lah, he tried to humour everyone by telling 冷笑话 and not bad lor, those people give him face by laughing!

Time to go off after the lucky draw session is over. Committee members cannot go off first cos nid to do some packing mah. So we left the place at about 6pm+. Wat biangz, can tell you that I am dead beat leh. Looking after Little Arielle in such open area is no joke! She kept running around until she hit herself against the table edge. The wound was just a few cm away from her eyes and luckily the edge is not sharp. Else, sure to bleed leh. Nevertheless, a bruise is still there! Din have help cos XP is busi helping out! At the end of the event, I let him took over cos I really cannot take it liaoz!

We had a light dinner with 2 of the other committee members and thereafter proceeded straight home. Took turns to have shower and lights off at 8pm!! One of the earliest time that I sleep eversince I had Little Arielle! Good night!

Huggies Tent!

After obtaining the diaper labels from Mummy Ching, I was all excited to collect the tent today! Tried to call the silly company yesterday to arrange for an appointment to do the collection today and I had to make 4-5 calls before someone picks up the phone. Alamak, wonder what are they doing leh??

Anyway, XP drove me to the collection centre. It was a long way to walk to the company. All the units there look like big warehouse. Along the way in, I saw a few parents coming out with their tents. I think that is the only company that is operating today. There was only a young chap around and I just gotta fill in my particulars before he hands the tent over to me.

Little Arielle was very excited but I din have the time to open it up for her to play cos after we got home, we quickly put her to sleep as we have another function coming up a few hours later....

Mni Breakfast Gathering

It wasn't easy to arrange for this meet up this morning but I am glad that we managed to work things out.

Sway Lee aka Rachel was my poly 1st year friend and I am happy to say that we managed to stay in touch despite the fact that she has migrated to Australia! Still remember those days that she doesn't put on skirts and insist on wearing pants/jeans wherever she goes! Right now, she is a certifed mummy with good household skills hee! I should start learning from her liaoz hee!

Anyway, she's back in Singapore with her 1 year old gal, Ellie for 3 weeks. I always make it a point to arrange for a meet up whenver she is back in Singapore! This time around, I included Mdm Koh and family in.

Due to the fact that we all had something on today, we managed to squeeze in some time in the morning to meet up. So this means that it has gotta be as early as 8.30pm. Well, bo pian lor, for the sake of good old friends, early also must wake up right! Little Arielle was most uncooperative this morning! Not sure if it is because she din have enough sleep and therefore was very grouchy. She refused to get dressd and cried at the slighest moment! Alamak, I almost died lor! It took me a while to finally leave the house and luckily, we ain't too late for the meet up.

All of them were waiting for us hee! Pai seh hor! We had breakfast at Cafe Cartel and managed to catch up with one another. Time flies....Mdm Koh had 2 boys liaoz while Sway Lee and I each had a girl. Missed those days where we were always playing like nobody's business and now, we have all upgraded to be mummies liaoz hee! Sometimes, still cannot believe that I'm a mother hahahaha!
