The Tan family was jio by the Heng family to make a trip to Botanic Gardens on this gloomy Saturday morning. I set the time at 10am so that we do not have to wake up so early. Can be tiring you know hee!
Little Arielle woke up at a good timing. Got everyone ready and we moved off at about 9.20am. Went to pick daddy, mama and granny at Tampines first. Was praying hard that it would not rain cos the sky was overcast!
WX and WJ took the public transport and so they arrived a little later than us. WX brought us around and the first stop was next to the pond. We took some pics along the way to the pond.
I laid the mat next to the pond and we were ready for our mini picnic! Mama was nice to prepare sandwich for our breakfast. Hmm, yummy yum yum, my favourite egg + ham + cucumber + tomato sandwich hee!
Little Arielle din want the bread cos she wants to feed the fishes and tortoises instead. Check out what she is doing:

After the fishes feeding time, XP was naughty and wanted to throw Little Arielle into the pond of fishes! Look at her reaction hee:

After she was being "scared" by XP, she decided to scare the birds. So there she is, seen running after them!

After all the running and chasing, it's Little Arielle feeding time. Mama was busy feeding her her porridge. Little Arielle was persipring as if her forehead is "raining"
We were supposed to look for the sundial clock which was one of the significant item in Botanic Gardens. Hmm, seems like they have removed it liaoz. We din really looked for a long time cos the hot sun was draining us up. Moreover, Little Arielle fell on the grass patch while she was playing ball with WX and WJ. Luckily, she only suffered some mild scratches. As such, we thought of going off as we were there for nearly 3 hours! Probably, the next time we come, we will continue the search for the sundial clock!
We took more pics as we were on our way back home. Lunch was great! We had curry fish head, brocolli, hei zou and prawn fritters at Bedok! We hope to have more family activities together as it promotes healthy lifestyle and family bonding!!
