Chickenpox Vaccine

After the experience of witnessing how Little Arielle scratch on her blister wound, I have decided to let her take the chickenpox vaccine. I supposed at such young age, they are unable to tolerate the itch on their body. As such, if they really get chickenpox, I bet that they would scratch till their skin will probably bleed.

In addition, I have also heard reports and advices from mothers like Mama Tong that vaccine is one good preventive measure. Although, it is not proven to be 100% safe from chickenpox but I supposed to a certain extent it will help. Of course, there are isolated cases that children still get it even though they have been injected with the vaccine. I guessed for such cases, the chickenpox effect may not be as bad as those who did not go for the jab.

So, in conclusion, I shall let her have the injection together with the pnuemcoccol jab in Oct! For mummies who have hesitated like me, do not do so and please proceed with the jab too!
