Last Order @ T2 Swensens Restaurant

XP and I had something to attend to and thus we were late in picking Little Arielle up. Today is the last day of 1 to 1 ice cream offer at Swensens. As we did not get a chance to eat it yesterday, we decided to go today instead.

It's about 11.15pm when we picked Little Arielle up. We reached T2 at about 11.25pm. We were waiting outside Swensens at about 11.30pm. Wow, it was indeed a very long queue there! Most of them were here for the promotion as I saw them holding the e-Voucher in their hands. The captain was walking down the queue asking the number of pax. The couple behind us asked the question that I wanted to have the answer to! They want to know if they are entitled to the 1 to 1 ice-cream? The captain replied that if we are able to place our order by 12 midnight, we will be eligible!

Wat biangz! Stress leh! We were so far back in the queue and I din dare to count the number of pax in front of us! We were crossing our fingers and was hoping that we can make it! They should have taken all orders in the queue first mah and get people to settle payment so that everyone can be eligible for the promotion and no one will be disappointed. But, I think, to the company's point of view, earning more $$ is more important!

Haha, probably our prayers were heard somewhere and we happened to be the last customer who managed to make it for the promotion! Wat seh, this means that we have been queueing for the past half an hour and luckily we got it. Else the wait would be a waste!

Well, although we have been informed by the captain that the wait for the ice-cream would take about half an hour to 45 minutes, we din expect that it is really gonna be that long. At least, ice-cream is something that you dun have to cook right?? How come need to wait that long leh. In any case, we just wait cos there is no other options left. The couples on our left and right were sitted around the same time as us. The couple on my right had their food and ice-cream served and they have finished their ice-cream when mine wasn't even seen in sight. The couple on my left had their food served first. And well, our orders were not here yet after they finished their main course! I took a look at my watch and it's 12.50am. So what it means is that I have been waiting for the past 50 minutes for my ICE-CREAM!! Finally, it arrived at the 55th minute! And guessed what! They din give me the flavour that I wanted! Dun care, just got them to make the change!

Oh finally can eat my ice-cream! Yipee....Little Arielle was also enjoying it! It's one of the days that she get to eat so much ice-cream! Cos each of us ordered 2 scoops! Usually we will share but since it's 1 for 1, why not! Hmm hopefully we will have sweet dreams tonight! We left the airport at about 1.15am....
